The present invention relates to a detection target detection system that detects the presence / absence of a detection target and the position of the detection target.
More specifically, it is confirmed whether or not a detection target exists in a peripheral area of a certain detection device, and when the detection target is confirmed, in which direction the detection target is based on the detection device, And it is related with the detection target detection system which detects how far away it exists.
In recent years, many devices and methods have been proposed for detecting whether or not a detection target exists in a specific area, and where the detection target is located in the specific area when the detection target exists. ing.
As this type of conventional technology, there are those described in

In particular, if the location where the detection device is used to detect the detection target is constantly changing, such as when the detection target is a moving object, or when the detection device itself is also a moving object, multiple detections are made. Since a device and a transmitter cannot be prepared in advance, the inventions described in these
Therefore, there has been a demand for a system that detects the presence / absence of a detection target and the position of the detection target without causing such a problem.
In addition, when using a transmitter, it is required to reduce radio wave or signal detection errors caused by interference of the transmitter's radio waves.
The present invention relates to a detection target detection system that detects whether or not a detection target exists around a detection device using a detection tag that stores a tag identification number provided for the detection target.
The detection devices of this detection target detection system are provided one by one toward a plurality of preset search areas around the detection device, and light emitting means for irradiating an optical signal including information on an identifier for identifying itself And radio wave transmitting means for transmitting radio waves toward the peripheral area of the detection device.
The detection tag of the detection target detection system includes a radio wave receiving unit that receives a radio wave transmitted from the detection device, a light receiving unit that receives an optical signal including information on the identifier emitted from the detection device, and a radio wave. A reception report signal generating means for generating a reception report signal including information on an identifier and information on a tag identification number when receiving an optical signal emitted from a detection device after a predetermined time has elapsed after reception; Transmission slot storage means for storing transmission timings of a plurality of transmission slots set by dividing in advance in correspondence with identifiers, and transmission slot storage means based on an identifier included in the optical signal received by the optical reception means A transmission slot selection means for selecting one of the transmission slots set in the transmission slot, and a transmission slot selected by the transmission slot selection means, Towards serial sensing device configured to include a transmitting means for wireless transmission.
Further, the detection device of the detection target detection system includes a reception unit that receives the reception report signal transmitted from the transmission unit of the detection tag, a radio wave transmission unit, a reception unit, and a control unit that controls operations of the light emission unit, When the reception means receives the reception report signal, the distance from the detection device to the detection target is obtained based on the intensity of the reception report signal, and the emission direction of the optical signal emitted from the light emission means is the direction in which the detection target exists. The target position specifying means refers to the information of the identifier, specifies the light emitting means that has emitted the optical signal received by the light receiving means, and specifies the specified light emitting means. The corresponding search area is the direction in which the detection target exists.
Further, in this detection target detection system, the detection device includes a tag count unit that counts the number of detection tags in the vicinity for each search area from the tag identification number information included in the reception report signal, and a tag count unit. Transmission slot number determining means for determining each transmission timing of one or a plurality of transmission slots corresponding to one identifier according to the counted number of detection tags, and the light emitting means includes a transmission slot number determining means. It is preferable that the optical signal is irradiated including information on the correspondence between the determined identifier and the transmission timing, and the detection tag stores the correspondence between the identifier included in the optical signal and the transmission timing in the transmission slot storage unit.
In this detection target detection system, the reception report signal generation means of the detection tag generates a reception report signal including a light emission request signal when the optical signal is not received even after a predetermined time has elapsed after receiving the radio wave. The control unit of the detection device preferably irradiates the light signal from the light emitting unit when the receiving unit receives the reception report signal including the light emission request signal.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the control means sequentially irradiates all search areas so that adjacent search areas are not continuously irradiated when light is emitted from the light emitting means to each search area.
In the detection target detection system according to the present invention, radio waves are transmitted toward the peripheral area of the detection devices constituting the detection target detection system, and a plurality of preset search areas around the detection device with reference to the detection device. An optical signal is emitted toward the camera. The optical signal emitted from the detection device includes identifier information indicating which search area the optical signal is emitted from among a plurality of preset search areas.
When a detection tag provided on a detection target receives a radio wave and an optical signal transmitted from the detection device, information on a tag identification number unique to the detection tag and information on an identifier included in the received optical signal are obtained. The reception report signal that is included is generated in the detection tag, and the generated reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted to the detection device.
Therefore, the detection device specifies the detection target based on the information of the identification number of the tag, obtains the distance from the detection device to the detection target based on the received report signal strength (electric field strength), and The direction of the search area specified by the identifier information included in the reception report signal is the direction in which the detection target exists.
Thereby, it can be detected that there is a detection target around the detection device, and the positional relationship between the detected detection target and the detection device can be known.
In the detection tag of this detection target detection system, the transmission timings of a plurality of transmission slots set in advance divided in time are stored in association with the information of the identifier, and when the reception report signal is transmitted wirelessly The transmission slot to be used for the transmission is selected from the plurality of transmission slots set based on the identifier information included in the received optical signal.
As a result, even if there are a plurality of detection tags for wirelessly transmitting the reception report signal, different transmissions set by dividing in time according to the identifier information included in the optical signal received by each detection tag Since the slot is selected and the reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag at the transmission timing of the selected transmission slot, it is possible to suppress the probability of collision of the reception report signal.
Further, in the detection device of this detection target detection system, the number of detection tags in the vicinity is counted for each search area from the information of the tag identification number included in the reception report signal. Then, according to the counted number of detection tags, each transmission timing of one or a plurality of transmission slots corresponding to one identifier is determined, and an optical signal including information on correspondence between the determined identifier and the transmission timing Irradiated from. In the detection tag, the correspondence between the identifier included in the received optical signal and the transmission timing is newly stored.
Thereby, even if there are a plurality of detection tags around the detection device, each transmission timing of one or a plurality of transmission slots corresponding to one identifier is changed according to the number of detection tags counted, In the detection tag, since the reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted based on the changed correspondence, it is possible to suppress the probability of collision of the reception report signal.

Here, in the present embodiment, the person wearing the detection tag T is defined as the detection target D.

Hereinafter, the configurations of the robot R and the detection tag T used for detection of the detection target D will be described in detail.
[Robot R]
The robot R which is a detection device of the detection target detection system A according to the present invention is an autonomously moving biped robot.
The robot R transmits radio waves to a surrounding area of the robot R and irradiates light toward a search area set around the robot R with the robot R as a reference.
When a signal (reception report signal) indicating that both radio waves and light emitted from the robot R have been received is returned from the detection target D (detection tag T), the electric field strength of the reception report signal indicates that the robot While obtaining the distance from R to the detection target D and regarding the direction irradiated with the light received by the detection target D as the direction in which the detection target D exists, the detection of the detection target D and the position of the detection target D are determined. It is to identify.
Further, in this robot R, when a plurality of different detection tags T are present around the robot R, the transmission timing of the reception report signal in each detection tag T is adjusted and wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag. Reduces the probability of receiving report signal collisions.

Here, the search signal is a signal for detecting whether or not the detection target D exists around the robot R, and the direction inspection signal is the direction in which the detection target D is located with respect to the robot R. It is a signal for detecting whether to do.
The reception report signal is a signal indicating that the detection tag T has received at least the search signal.

Here, the reception report request signal requests the detection target D (detection tag T) that has received the search signal to generate a signal (reception report signal) indicating that the search signal has been received. Signal.

The direction inspection signal is individually generated for all of the light emitting units (LED1 to LED6) provided in the light emitting means 100, and the robot ID and the identifier (light emitting unit ID) for identifying the light emitting unit described above. It is comprised including.
This direction check signal is also generated when a light emission request signal is included in the reception report signal input from the

As a result, the encrypted search signal is modulated and then wirelessly transmitted from the radio wave transmitting / receiving means 90.

(Light emitting means 100)
The light emitting means 100 emits light toward a search area set in advance around the robot R with the robot R as a reference.
As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4A, the light emitting means 100 includes a plurality of light emitting units (LED1 to LED6) and a modulation unit provided corresponding to each light emitting unit. .
The modulation unit modulates the encryption direction check signal input from the
The light emitting unit emits the modulation signal as an infrared signal (infrared light) toward a predetermined search area.
In the present embodiment, in order to specify the position of the detection target D, the area around the robot R is divided into a plurality of search areas (see FIG. 4A). One light-emitting diode is prepared for each search area as a light emitting unit that emits infrared light toward the search area.
Specifically, in the case of the example shown in FIG. 4A, a total of six search areas (first to sixth areas) are set around the robot R in the entire circumferential direction, that is, in the 360 degree direction. Yes.
In other words, a plurality of substantially fan-shaped search areas (first to sixth areas) are set around the robot R so as to surround the robot R, and the robot R is an area surrounded by these fan-shaped search areas. It is located at the center of.
Therefore, in the case of the example shown in FIG. 4A, the head of the robot R has a total of six light emitting units along the outer periphery so that infrared light can be irradiated toward each search area. Are provided for the corresponding search areas.
Here, in the case of the present embodiment, the range in the width direction of the infrared light irradiated from each light emitting diode is set to θb.
Further, in the present embodiment, in order to minimize the blind area of the search area, that is, the search area, adjacent search areas are set to overlap each other at the end in the width direction. (See FIG. 4 (a)). For this reason, when infrared light is irradiated simultaneously or continuously to adjacent search areas, interference may occur in the overlapping areas of the search areas.
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the encryption direction check is performed in the

Further, in the present embodiment, referring to FIG. 4B again, the range in the height direction irradiated with infrared light is an average distance when a person talks face to face ( In (personal distance) X, it is set to a range in which the presence can be detected from children to adults.
Specifically, the position of the adult chest height Y and the position of the child chest height Z are set so as to be reliably irradiated with infrared light at a position X cm away from the robot R. In this case, the angle range in the height direction in which the infrared light is irradiated from each light emitting unit is set to φ so as to satisfy the above setting.

Referring to FIG. 3, the radio wave transmission / reception unit 90 transmits a radio wave toward the peripheral region of the robot R and receives a reception report signal wirelessly transmitted by a detection target that has received the radio wave.

The storage means 110 stores a table (direction table) indicating which search area (first to sixth areas) each light emitting unit is installed to irradiate with infrared light. ing.

Therefore, when the search signal is input, the
When the direction inspection signal is input before the predetermined time elapses after the light receiving unit 150 is activated, the
When the two robot IDs match, the
Subsequently, the
On the other hand, after the light receiving means 150 of the detection tag T is activated, the direction inspection signal is not input even after a predetermined time has elapsed, or is included in the robot ID and the direction inspection signal included in the search signal. If the robot ID is different, the
Here, the light emission request signal is a signal for instructing the robot R, which is a detection device, to emit infrared light.
In this embodiment, when outputting the reception report signal, the
The
As a result, the encrypted reception report signal, which is an encrypted reception report signal, is modulated into a modulation signal by the
(Reception report signal transmission timing)
In the case of the present embodiment, the transmission
The determination of the transmission timing will be specifically described with reference to FIGS. 10 (a) and 10 (b).
Referring to FIG. 10A, when the detection tag Ta located in the first area receives the radio wave and the optical signal transmitted from the robot R, it generates a reception report signal by the series of data processing described above. To do.
Referring to FIG. 10 (b), in the case of the present embodiment, a plurality of transmission slots to be used when a reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted are divided in advance and set (Sa to Sf). . And each transmission slot (Sa-Sf) is linked | related with light emission part ID (L1-L6) which is an identifier which identifies each light emission part (LED1-LED6) of the light emission means 100 of the robot R, These correlation is carried out. Is stored in the storage means 170 (see FIG. 9) of the detection tag T.
In the present embodiment, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, and L6 are used as the light emitting unit IDs that define the light emitting unit. In FIG. 10B, for convenience, L1 Is denoted by
As described above, the reception report signal generated in the detection tag T includes the light emitting unit ID, and the light emission unit ID is the infrared signal received by the light receiving unit 150 of the detection tag T. This is an identifier for identifying which light emitting unit of the robot R is irradiated.
Therefore, the transmission
Then, the transmission
Note that the transmission timing means the start point (transmission start time) of a signal transmitted using a transmission slot.
Here, referring to FIG. 10B, in the transmission timing table, the transmission slot Sa is light emitting unit ID = L3, the transmission slot Sb is light emitting unit ID = L1, and the transmission slot Sc is light emitting unit ID = L5. , The transmission slot Sd is associated with the light emitting unit ID = L2, the transmission slot Se is associated with the light emitting unit ID = L4, and the transmission slot Sf is associated with the light emitting unit ID = L6, and the light emitting unit ID included in the reception report signal is “L1”. ”Will be described in detail by taking an example.
The transmission
Here, since the transmission slot assigned to the light emitting unit ID = “L1” is “transmission slot Sb”, the transmission
In the case of the present embodiment, each transmission slot (Sa to Sf) is in one-to-one correspondence with the light emitting unit ID (L1 to L6) that is an identifier for identifying each light emitting unit (LED1 to LED6) of the light emitting means 100 of the robot R. Each light emitting unit is prepared one by one for a search area (first area to sixth area) set in advance around the robot R.
Therefore, this is synonymous with the fact that each transmission slot (Sa to Sf) is assigned one-to-one with each search area (first area to sixth area).
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10A, even when the detection target Da including the detection tag Ta exists in the first area and the detection target Db including the detection tag Tb exists in the sixth area. Since a different transmission slot is allocated to each search area (first area to sixth area), the reception report signal generated in the detection tag Ta receives the transmission slot Sb, and is generated in the detection tag Tb. The report signal is transmitted by radio using the transmission slots Sf. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the reception report signals from colliding and causing data loss due to the collision.
On the other hand, referring to FIG. 11 (a), when the transmission slot used when wirelessly transmitting the reception report signal is not determined, or referring to FIG. 11 (b), the detection tag In the case of a method of selecting one transmission slot arbitrarily from a plurality of transmission slots prepared in advance and wirelessly transmitting a reception report signal at the transmission timing of the selected transmission slot (referred to as an all-area method), Transmission slots of reception report signals transmitted wirelessly from the detection tags Ta and Tb may overlap.
In this case, the probability that the reception report signals wirelessly transmitted from the detection tags Ta and Tb collide with each other increases.
As described above, in the case of the present embodiment, when each of the detection tags Ta and Tb receives a direction check signal, it receives a report at the transmission timing of the transmission slot assigned to the light emitting unit ID included in the direction check signal. By transmitting signals wirelessly, collision of reception report signals is prevented.
In other words, in the case of the present embodiment, the reception report signal is prevented from colliding by wirelessly transmitting the reception report signal at the transmission timing of the transmission slot assigned to the area where each detection tag Ta, Tb is located. Yes.
This method is referred to as an area-by-area method. FIG. 12 shows the results of examining the difference in the probability of reception report signal collision between the area-by-area method and the above-described all-area method. Has been.
FIG. 12 is a graph comparing the probability that reception report signal collision does not occur between when the reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted by the all-area method and when the reception report signal is wirelessly transmitted by the area-by-area method. It is.
The first row on the horizontal axis shows the total number of detection tags that exist within the detection range, and the second row on the horizontal axis shows each area (first to sixth areas). The number of detection tags to be displayed is shown. The detection range refers to an area where the robot R can detect the presence of a detection tag. In the present embodiment, the range from
In addition, the vertical axis of this graph indicates the probability that reception report signal collision will not occur.
Therefore, in this graph, it means that the collision does not easily occur as the probability approaches 1.0, and the collision easily occurs as the probability approaches 0.0.
As is clear from FIG. 12, as the total number of detection tags existing in the detection range increases, the probability that a collision does not occur decreases (the possibility of a collision increases). Even in this case, it can be seen that the area-by-area method adopted in the present embodiment has a higher probability that no collision will occur than the all-area method (there is less possibility of a collision).

Thereby, infrared light is irradiated to each search area provided around the robot R in the order and timing determined by the

Next, another aspect of the target detection unit included in the detection target detection system A according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
In the object detection unit 200 shown in FIG. 15, the configuration of the
Therefore, the following description will mainly describe the
The
The
More specifically, referring to FIG. 16A, when there are a large number of detection tags in the same search area (for example, the first area), the number of transmission slots allocated to the first area is insufficient. In addition, there is a high possibility that a collision of reception report signals wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag will occur.
Therefore, the target detection unit 200 includes a

Here, in the present embodiment, the number of transmission slots to be increased is the same as the number of slots to be decreased, and the total number of transmission slots is set so as not to change.
In addition, when increasing the number of transmission slots, it is preferable that a group of transmission slots assigned to a specific light emitting unit is constituted by a plurality of transmission slots that are temporally continuous by capturing adjacent transmission slots. .
The method for increasing / decreasing the transmission slot and the number at that time are not particularly limited. For example, (1) increasing / decreasing step by step by 2 slots, or (2) increasing the number of transmission slots. For example, the number of transmission slots in the case of reduction can be appropriately selected.
Here, the case of FIG. 16A will be described as an example.
FIG. 16A is a diagram for explaining a case where a plurality of detection targets D exist in a specific search area set around the robot, and FIG. 16B is a diagram in the case of FIG. FIG. 16 is an explanatory diagram for explaining a collision of reception report signals that may occur when reception report signals are wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag, and FIG. 16C is assigned to each search area (light emitting unit ID). It is explanatory drawing explaining a transmission slot.
In FIGS. 16B and 16C, regarding light emitting unit IDs (L1 to L6) that define each light emitting unit, L1 is denoted by
Referring to FIG. 16A, since a total of three detection tags (Ta to Tc) exist only in the first region, the condition of formula (1) is satisfied when the light emitting unit ID is “L1”. Only things.
Therefore, the transmission slot
As shown in FIG. 16C, two transmission slots are allocated to each light emitting unit ID, and in this case, the transmission slot adjacent to the transmission slot allocated to the light emitting unit ID “L1”. Are assigned to the light emitting unit IDs “L3” and “L5”.
Here, when the number of transmission slots is increased to 2, the light emitting unit ID is assigned to “L3 (indicated by
As described above, since the association between each light emitting unit ID and the transmission slot is changed by changing the allocation of the transmission slot, the transmission slot
Further, the transmission slot

As described above, the
Thereby, the direction inspection signal including the transmission slot change signal is emitted as an infrared signal from the light emitting unit of the light emitting means 100.
(Detection tag T)
Referring to FIG. 9, when the direction receiving signal including the transmission slot change signal is received by the optical receiving means 150 of the detection tag T, the transmission slot change signal is detected after the predetermined processing described above. Are input to the

Referring to FIG. 17, in the case of the present embodiment, robot R repeatedly transmits radio waves and optical signals at predetermined time intervals (terms).
Therefore, in the first term, since there are a large number of detection tags in the first region, even if a collision of reception report signals wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag (Ta, Tb, Tc) occurs. Since the number of transmission slots allocated to the first area is increased by the predetermined processing described above, a reception report wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag (Ta, Tb, Tc) in the next second term The probability of signal collisions can be reduced.
Next, referring to the flowcharts of FIG. 18 and FIG. 19, the processing performed in the target detection unit 200 of the robot R and the detection tag T that has received the direction inspection signal generated in the target detection unit 200. Processing will be described.
In the case of the present embodiment, the processing in the target detection unit 200 is almost the same as the operation of the

Then, the generated direction inspection signal is irradiated as an infrared signal from each light emitting unit of the light emitting means 100 after predetermined processing in the control means 80 (step S104).
When the detection tag T receives the search signal (modulation signal) transmitted from the radio wave transmission / reception unit 90 and the infrared signal (direction inspection signal) emitted from the light emitting unit 100, the detection tag T generates a reception report signal, This is wirelessly transmitted as a modulated signal after predetermined processing.

As a result, the transmission slot change signal is included in the direction check signal generated next by the
Next, processing performed in the detection tag T when the detection tag T receives the direction inspection signal generated in the target detection unit 200 will be described with reference to FIG.
In the case of the present embodiment, the processing in the detection tag T is almost the same as the processing already described in FIG. Accordingly, overlapping portions will be described in a simplified manner.
Referring to FIG. 19, the search signal transmitted from robot R is received by detection tag T (step S150), and the infrared signal (direction inspection signal) emitted from robot R is received by detection tag T. (Step S151).
When the direction check signal includes a transmission slot change signal (Yes in step S152), the
Subsequently, the

Here, since the transmission timing table is appropriately updated according to the number of detection tags existing around the robot R, the probability of collision of reception report signals wirelessly transmitted from each detection tag is suppressed. Can do.

(Overall operation of detection target detection system A)
Finally, referring to the overall configuration diagram of the detection target detection system A shown in FIG. 1, the block diagram of the detection tag T shown in FIG. 9, the block diagram of the target detection unit 200 shown in FIG. 15, and the flowchart shown in FIG. The operation of the detection target detection system A will be described by taking as an example a case where the detection target detection system A is applied to the detection of company visitors.

Then, the company visitor starts moving toward the destination after various procedures at the reception. In the following description, the description will be continued with an example in which there are three visitors to the company.
Referring to FIG. 15 as appropriate, the control means 80 of the robot R repeats transmission of the search signal and generation of the direction inspection signal at predetermined intervals (step S22), and transmits the detection tag from the detection tag attached to the company visitor. If the received reception report signal is not received (step 203, No), the process waits until the reception report signal is received.
When the reception report signal transmitted from the detection tag attached to the company visitor is received (step 203, Yes), the number of reception report signals is counted in the

When the detected number of people is smaller than the number of people registered at the reception (step S204, Yes), the robot R considers that a reception error has occurred and assigns it to each light emitting unit ID in the transmission slot
As a result, the probability that a collision will occur when the reception report signal is next wirelessly transmitted from the detection tag can be reduced.

For example, 1) It moves to the front of the detection target D (person) wearing the detection tag T, and the camera C images the face of the detection target D. 2) Say “Good morning” to the detection target D (person). 3) An operation such as transmitting a message prepared in advance for the detection target D (person) is performed.
