The present invention relates to a pack device, a sense table device, a movement trajectory calculation method, a movement trajectory calculation program, and a recording medium that are moved on the sense table and placed on the sense table to detect the coordinates and rotation angle thereof. It relates to the medium.
CUI(Character User Interface)、GUI(Graphical User Interface)に続く次世代のユーザインタフェースとして、MITでは、TUI(Tangible User Interface)と称される直感的なインタフェースの研究が行われている。
As a next-generation user interface following CUI (Character User Interface) and GUI (Graphical User Interface), MIT is researching an intuitive interface called TUI (Tangible User Interface).
A device called a sense table is used as a platform for this research, and this device is composed of a pack for detecting the position and rotation angle in addition to the sense table body (see Non-Patent Document 1).
FIG. 6 shows a configuration example of a sense table device when network design is performed using TUI (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1).
That is, a design drawing generated and output by the PC 72 is projected through the
By the way, the above-described sense table employs an electromagnetic induction method using a coil for coordinate position detection. By receiving a signal from a pack in which two coils having different resonance frequencies are mounted, the center position of the pack and The rotation angle was calculated. Accordingly, the range and width of the resonance frequency that can be set are determined depending on the type of coil mounted on the pack, and the total number of packs used is limited.
In the example disclosed in Non-Patent
Therefore, the applicant first determines the pack position using two coils (A, B) having the same resonance frequency, as shown in FIG. Pack device and sense table device mounted with one coil (Z) which is mounted in a direction perpendicular to the line connecting the centers of the two coils and which has different resonance frequencies and does not resonate when the button is pressed, and movement trajectory calculation Filed a method, a moving track calculation program, and a recording medium.
However, according to the above-mentioned pack device of the prior application, there is no particular problem if one coil Z is used at different resonance frequencies for each pack. In particular, when the coils Z in the two pack devices approach each other, not only the individual coils cannot be recognized, but in the worst case, the resonance frequency of the coils changes. Note that reducing the number of resonance frequencies to be used can reduce the frequency for scanning on the antenna side, so the detection speed of the pack is improved, or the resonance frequencies that can be used are limited. There is an advantage that the number of possible packs can be increased. For this reason, there is a high demand for sharing the resonance frequency of the coil Z.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and the pack device, the sense table device, the movement locus calculation method, the movement locus calculation, and the common resonance frequency of the coil Z without reducing the coil detection performance. The object is to provide a program and a recording medium.
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is a pack device that moves on a sense table and is placed on the sense table to detect the coordinates and rotation angle thereof, and is mounted at a point-symmetrical position. The two coils for detecting the position and rotation angle having the same resonance frequency are mounted near the center position of the pack on which the two coils are mounted, and the two coils have a resonance frequency of Unlike the other packs, there is provided one coil for detecting the direction of rotation which has a frequency common to all other packs and does not resonate when the button is pressed.

It is characterized by determining by.
The present invention also provides a movement trajectory calculation method using a sense table management device that detects a position and a rotation angle of each pack device that moves on a sense table, the resonance being implemented in each pack device. Receiving each signal induced by electromagnetic induction from two coils having the same frequency and one coil having different resonance frequencies, and each pack device moving by the resonance frequency of the two coils And a step of calculating a rotation direction by the one coil.
Further, the present invention is a movement trajectory calculation program used for a sense table management device for detecting each position and rotation angle of a pack device moving on a sense table, the resonance being implemented in each pack device Processing for receiving respective signals induced by electromagnetic induction from two coils having the same frequency and one coil having different resonance frequencies, and each of the pack devices moving by the resonance frequency of the two coils And calculating a rotation direction by the one coil, and causing the computer to execute.
Further, the present invention is a computer-readable recording medium recording a movement trajectory calculation program used in a sense table management device for detecting each position and rotation angle of a pack device moving on a sense table, The process of receiving each signal induced by electromagnetic induction from two coils with the same resonance frequency mounted on each pack device and one coil with different resonance frequencies, and the resonance of the two coils The computer is caused to execute a process of calculating a position and a rotation angle of each of the pack devices that move according to a frequency and calculating a rotation direction using the one coil.
According to the present invention, two coils having the same resonance frequency are used to detect the position and the rotation angle, and a resonance frequency different from those coils is used to detect the rotation direction near the center of the pack device. The two coils that determine the position and rotation angle even if one coil of each pack device approaches by mounting one coil having a resonance frequency common to all the pack devices. Detection can be performed within the same accuracy and time as before without being interfered by the coil.
In addition, since one coil for determining the rotation direction has a resonance frequency common to all packs, a finite resonance frequency can be used effectively, and the number of packs that can be created can be increased. As a result, the stability and accuracy of the pack used for network design can be improved. Note that the coil for detecting the direction of rotation temporarily does not resonate (open) when the button is pressed, and during normal operation, the act of rotating the pack device and the act of pressing the button are not performed simultaneously. The state where the rotation angle detection becomes unstable when the button is pressed is acceptable.
FIG. 1 is a diagram cited for explaining the configuration of a pack device according to the present invention. FIG. 1A shows an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG.
Each
It is assumed that the resonance frequency of the coil Z is the same in all other pack devices, and that a button (not shown) is attached and the button Z is pressed so that it does not resonate for a certain period of time. .
As the above-described mounting form shows, the characteristic feature is that the coil Z is moved to the vicinity of the centering position of the back. For example, when the pack has a diameter of about 40 mm and the coil has a diameter of about 8 mm, the center position of the coil Z is moved by about 5 mm, and the inside of the pack is about 8/2 + 5 = 9 mm inside.
The moving distance does not depend on the size of the pack device, and varies depending on the line between the loop coils on the sheet side, which will be described later. Here, since the distance is 5 mm as shown in FIG. 2 (diagonal distance) or more is necessary, and here, since 5 + 5 = 10 mm apart, identification is possible. In this case, the distance from the center position of the coils A and B to the coil Z is about 20−9 = 11 mm, which is insufficient as a distance for detecting the rotation angle, and the error increases. For this reason, in addition to the position, the coils A and B are also used for rotation angle detection. The distance between the centers of the coils A and B is 40−8 / 2 × 2 = 32 mm, which is much longer than 20−9 = 11 mm. Therefore, the accuracy for detecting the rotation angle θ is improved.
If an error of 1 mm is included in the position of the coil, the coils A and B are assumed to have an error of 1 mm each, so that there is a worst error of 2 mm. The angle error due to tan −1 2 mm / 32 mm = 3.6 degrees. On the other hand, assuming that there is no error in the center position even if both the coils A and B contain errors, tan −1 1 mm / 11 mm, which is an angle error when the coil Z is moved inward by about 5 mm. The accuracy can be increased considerably from 5.2 degrees.
However, the problem in this case is that the rotation direction cannot be discriminated when rotated 90 degrees or more. Therefore, the direction of the rotation angle is determined depending on whether the coil Z is present on the left or right with respect to the diagonal line of the coils A and B in a state where the button is not pressed.
The rotation angle θ is an angle having the coil B as a vertex when the rotation is a right rotation, and an angle having the coil A as a vertex when the rotation is a left rotation. If the angle is expressed as an angle from the intermediate position between the two packs, the angle is based on the perpendicular at the intermediate position between the two points of the coils A and B using the congruence theorem of the right triangle.
As described above, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the coils A and B having the same resonance frequency are mounted diagonally to detect the position and the rotation angle, and those coils are detected to detect the rotation direction. A coil Z having a resonance frequency different from that of A and B is mounted in the direction perpendicular to the two coils A and B and in the vicinity of the center position of the pack device, whereby the two coils A that determine the position and the rotation angle. , B can be detected within the same accuracy and time as before, and unlike the conventional mounting form shown in FIG. 1B, the resonance frequency does not shift and a stable operation is obtained.
Note that the coil Z for detecting the rotation angle when the button is pressed temporarily does not resonate (open), and in normal operation, the act of rotating the pack device and the action of pressing the button are not performed simultaneously. Therefore, a state in which the detection of the rotation angle becomes unstable when the button is pressed is acceptable. In addition, if the two coils A and B for position detection are basically mounted at point-symmetric positions, the center position can be calculated by calculating the center of gravity, and the accuracy can be improved.
FIG. 2 shows the internal configuration of the sense table device. In the sense table device 2, an antenna print line (sensor substrate 21) is laid. The sensor substrate 21 is provided with receiving coils (Xi; X0 to Xz, Yi; Y0 to Yz, respectively) with narrow widths in the X direction and the Y direction, and the sensor substrate 21 has a transmission carrier by the

The pack device 1 (# 0 to #n) moves on the sense table device 2 and is placed on the sensor substrate 21 in order to detect the coordinate position and rotation angle. Each
The number of squares of the antenna print line for detecting the size of the coil having a different diameter mounted on the pack device 1 (# 0 to #n) is different depending on the coil. For example, when the distance between the lines is 5 mm, if the distance is 7 mm, a spread of about 2 to 3 squares can be obtained. However, the spread increases as the threshold value of the detected peak current is lowered. For example, when 2 to 3 squares are used at 7 mm, 3 to 4 squares are obtained at 14 mm. In this case, it may not be possible to determine which one belongs to 3 squares. However, in the case of 14 mm, there are almost no three squares, so even a size ratio of this level can be detected. Also, if the distance between the lines is 3 mm, it is possible to distinguish between 7 mm and 14 mm without any problem. In any case, the antenna printed wire and the coil size need to be adjusted in cooperation, greatly affecting the detection performance.

The operation of the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 will be described in detail below with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.

The above processing (S51: Presence / absence of resonance signal of coil) is executed by selecting X0 to Xz by the
Although the coil position can be determined by the above-described processing, as shown in FIG. 3, since the squares of the antenna print lines are 5 mm apart, if the calculation is performed as it is, the accuracy of the coil center position is considerably reduced.
The center position, rotation angle, and rotation direction of each
The above operation is repeated for the number of all the pack devices placed on the sense table device 2 (S60).
As described above, the present invention uses two coils having the same resonance frequency to detect the position and the rotation angle, and different resonances from those coils to detect the rotation direction near the center of the pack. By mounting one coil that has a frequency and a resonance frequency common to all packs, the two coils that determine the position and rotation angle interfere even if one coil of each pack approaches each other. Without detection, it can be detected within the same accuracy and time as before.
