Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a melt flow path switching device used for switching the flow of a molten metal in a smelting process of a non-ferrous metal such as copper.
In general, as a copper smelting facility, a continuous smelting apparatus using a continuous multiple furnace system using an oxidation reaction as a means is known. This continuous smelter dissolves and oxidizes copper concentrate supplied with oxygen-enriched air, and the main component is a mat composed of a mixture of copper sulfide and iron sulfide, and gangue, solvent, and oxidation in the copper concentrate. A smelting furnace for producing slag composed of iron, etc., a separation furnace for separating the mat and slag produced by the smelting furnace, a copper making furnace for further oxidizing the separated mat to produce crude copper, In order to purify the molten metal produced in this copper making furnace and produce higher quality copper, a plurality of refining furnaces are provided. The smelting furnace and copper making furnace are provided with a plurality of lances composed of a plurality of pipes for supplying copper concentrate, oxygen-enriched air, solvent, coolant, etc. into the furnace. A discharge tower is installed on the ceiling of these furnaces. The separation furnace is an electric furnace equipped with electrodes. These smelting furnaces, separation furnaces, copper making furnaces and refining furnaces are provided with a height difference in this order, and are connected by a flame that is a flow path of the molten metal so that the molten metal flows down the gravity by gravity. It has become.
In order to refine copper in the above configuration, oxygen enriched air is blown into the dried copper concentrate and flux. In the smelting furnace, the melting and oxidation reaction of the raw material proceeds, and a mat composed mainly of a mixture of copper sulfide and iron oxide and slag composed of gangue, solvent, iron oxide, etc. in copper concentrate are generated. . The mat and the slag are sent to the separation furnace by a rod connecting the smelting furnace and the separation furnace, where they are separated into a lower layer mat and an upper layer slag due to a difference in specific gravity. The slag of the separation path overflows and the liquid level is constant. Here, since the produced slag contains almost no copper, it is discharged out of the system as it is.
On the other hand, the mats separated in the separation furnace are sent to the copper making furnace by a rod connecting the separation furnace and the copper making furnace. In this copper making furnace, oxygen-enriched air is further blown to oxidize sulfur and iron in the mat to obtain crude copper having a purity of 98.5%. In the copper making furnace, the continuously produced crude copper is injected into the refining furnace. Moreover, in the oxidation process in this copper making furnace, a part of the copper also participates and is taken into the slag. That is, slag is made into a solid powder by water granulation, dried, inserted into a smelting furnace, and dissolved together with copper concentrate to recover copper.
Here, in the continuous smelting apparatus having the above configuration, a plurality of refining furnaces are provided, for example, 3 units, and one refining furnace is a molten metal (melted metal ore generated from a copper making furnace). In this case, other refining furnaces perform oxidation and reduction of the molten metal received in advance, and casting the molten metal as an anode in parallel. . Therefore, the following method is used in order to send the molten metal to each refining furnace selectively between the copper making furnace and the refining furnace.
In other words, clay is poured into the other tub and closed, and first, the molten metal is poured only into one tub. Next, when switching the dredging, heat the blister tip with a high-temperature burner or the like to melt the molten copper to melt the molten copper and break the clay with a jet lance. After opening or closing, the clay opening is filled with clay and closed, and at the same time, air is blown into the basket to cool it. In this way, the molten metal flow path can be switched.
However, with this method, the bricks forming the ridges are repeatedly cooled and rapidly heated, causing the bricks to deteriorate rapidly and causing cracks to shorten the brick life. there were. As a result, in order to prevent deterioration, it is necessary to frequently replace the bricks of firewood, and there is a problem that the furnace must be stopped for the replacement of the bricks. In addition, the broken clay may remain in the flow path, and the remaining clay hinders the flow of the molten metal, so that there is a problem that a desired molten metal flow rate cannot be obtained. In addition, there is also a problem that the efficiency of the switching work is deteriorated because human power is required for charging and breaking the clay. Furthermore, there is a problem in that the flow path blocked by the clay blocks the opening of the tub by the molten metal solidified by cooling.
In the invention described in Patent Document 1 described above, the molten metal receiving portion is tilted by the tilting device. However, when the molten metal is injected into the smelting furnace from one flow path, the flow of the molten metal stops at the other soot. Therefore, the melted and solidified molten metal or the opening of the flow path where the flow is stopped is blocked. For this reason, since the obstructed opening must be opened using a jet lance or the like, there has been a problem that it takes time for the switching work. In addition, this melt flow path switching device is tilted by a tilting device, but since the tilt angle cannot be made large due to the structure, it is not used depending on the amount of melt flowing into the melt receiving portion. In some cases, the molten metal leaks out of the flow path, and as a countermeasure, the opening of the basket must be closed with clay, and there is a problem that it takes time for the switching work. In addition, the switching is automatically performed by pressing a single button using sequence control. For example, the tilting device provided below the molten metal receiving part due to the heat generated from the molten metal, the splash splashed, etc. When the trouble occurs, it is difficult to control, so if the switching of the molten metal flow path stops during the movement, it cannot be dealt with, and there is a risk that the molten metal will leak from the molten metal receiving part. there were.
The present invention has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and its purpose is to efficiently perform the switching operation of the flow path and prevent the molten metal outlet of the molten metal receiving portion from being clogged. An object of the present invention is to provide a molten metal flow path switching device that reduces maintenance and the like.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention proposes the following means.
The invention according to claim 1 is a melt flow path switching device that sequentially switches the flow of the molten metal discharged from the upstream side to the downstream side that is branched in at least two directions. The molten metal discharged from the tub is received inside and temporarily held, and the molten metal receiving portion having a molten metal outlet for discharging the molten metal to the branch tub, and the molten metal outlet of the molten metal receiving portion are vertically arranged And a second drive device for moving the molten metal outlet to the position of each branch rod.
According to the molten metal flow path switching device according to the present invention, the molten metal discharged from the bowl is received by the molten metal receiving portion, and the second drive device is provided to one branch pole among the branch poles branched in at least two directions. Then, the molten metal is discharged to the branch wall by being driven by the first driving device so that the molten metal outlet is directed downward. In addition, when switching the discharge of the molten metal to another branch rod, the first drive device causes the molten metal outlet to face upward and stops the discharge of the molten metal. And after making it move to the position of the branch rod to be discharged | emitted with a 2nd drive device, a 1st drive device makes a molten metal exit face downward, and discharges a molten metal.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided the melt flow path switching device according to the first aspect, wherein the main body frame is provided below the main body frame, and the main body frame is supported below the main body frame. And a fixed base that is installed at a fixed position above the main body frame and suspends the main body frame via a wire, and the first driving device is disposed above the main body frame. And the second driving device is installed on the fixed base.
According to the molten metal flow path switching device according to the present invention, the first driving device and the second driving device are not affected by splashed splashes and the like, and thus can prevent malfunction. Therefore, the molten metal flow path switching device can reliably move along the guide. In addition, since the main body frame is suspended from the fixed base, a part of the weight of the main body frame and the molten metal receiving portion is distributed to the fixed base, so that the driving force of the second driving device can be reduced.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the molten channel switching device according to the second aspect, a cylindrical exhaust gas hood is provided above the molten metal receiving part, and a part of the molten gas receiving part is disposed in the exhaust gas receiving part. A protector is provided inside the opening of the hood.
According to the melt flow path switching device according to the present invention, the gas generated from the melt can be recovered by the exhaust gas hood. In addition, the protector can receive splash splashed when the molten metal receiving portion receives molten metal, and can prevent splash from splashing outside the molten metal receiving portion. Furthermore, since the protector is positioned inside the exhaust gas hood, it is possible to prevent the movement of the molten metal receiving part from being brought into contact with the exhaust gas hood and the protector when the molten metal receiving part moves.
According to the present invention, since the molten metal outlet of the molten metal receiving portion can be operated in the vertical direction and the rotational direction, the discharge of the molten metal can be switched alternatively to the branched branch, so that it can be efficiently performed. Molten metal can be supplied to the refining furnace. In addition, the molten metal outlet of the molten metal receiving portion continuously flows from the molten metal outlet, so that the molten metal is not cooled and clogged, and the conventional work of pushing the molten metal with a jet lance can be omitted. . Furthermore, since the molten metal flows continuously from the molten metal outlet, the molten metal does not leak out as in the prior art. Therefore, the switching work does not take time and the time for the switching work can be shortened as compared with the conventional switching device.

The smelting method of the continuous smelting apparatus 1 using the molten metal flow
On the other hand, the mat separated in the separation furnace 3 is sent to the copper making furnace 4 through the

Here, after the molten metal continuously discharged | emitted from the copper-making furnace 4 passes the
Here, to supply the molten metal to the
Thereafter, the discharged molten metal is moved from the
In the refining furnace 5 shown in FIG. 1, when the molten metal is accumulated to some extent, it is necessary to stop the inflow of the molten metal in order to generate an anode. That is, in order to stop the supply of the molten metal in the
Switching of the flow of the molten metal from the
Thereafter, the melt flow
When the
The branch rod 12C shown in FIG. 6 and the movement from 12C to 12A may be performed in the same manner as described above.
According to said structure, since the

Moreover, since the
