Further, n represents is an integer from 1 to 3 )) Is used as an example, and liquid repellency is imparted by introduction of a fluoroalkyl group.
This silane coupling agent can be firmly bonded to the film forming surface of the substrate 1, and the fluoroalkyl group has particularly high liquid repellency, so that the lyophilicity of the film forming surface can be easily controlled. (Preparation).

In this step [2], it is preferable that the base material 1 is heated when the flying
Examples of the method for heating the substrate 1 include a heating method using a heater as illustrated, a heating method using microwave irradiation, a heating method using laser light irradiation, and a heating method using infrared irradiation.
Although the heating temperature of the base material 1 is not specifically limited, It is preferable that it is about 80-300 degreeC, and it is more preferable that it is about 80-200 degreeC. By setting the heating temperature in such a range, the effects as described above are more remarkably exhibited.

In addition, you may make it provide a post-processing process after this process [2] as needed. Examples of the post-processing step include a step for solidifying the film 3 when the film 3 does not solidify (cured) in the step [2].
Through the steps as described above, a film (film of the present invention) 3 having a predetermined pattern is obtained.
According to the present invention, it is not necessary to form a mask (resist layer) directly on the substrate 1, and the film 3 can be formed with high film forming accuracy.
In addition, according to the present invention, since a resist layer is not used, a complicated process for forming a resist layer and a process for removing a resist layer that has become unnecessary can be omitted.
For this reason, according to the present invention, the film 3 having high film forming accuracy (reliability) can be obtained easily and inexpensively.

Next, specific examples of the present invention will be described.
(Example 1)
First, a quartz glass substrate (base material) was prepared and washed with pure water.
Next, tridecafluoro-1,1,2,2 tetrahydrooctyltriethoxysilane (silane-based coupling agent) is included in the region to be a low affinity region on the film forming surface of the quartz glass substrate by an inkjet method. After supplying ink (treatment liquid), heat treatment was performed at 100 ° C. for 10 minutes.
The ink was prepared by dissolving the silane coupling agent in a mixed solution of methanol and 0.5N acetic acid.
As a result, a low affinity region (highly liquid repellent region) treated with a silane coupling agent and a high affinity region (highly lyophilic region) where the surface of the quartz glass substrate is exposed are partitioned. did.
The planar shape of the high-affinity region was the capital letter “E” of the alphabet, and the width of each part was about 60 μm.
The absolute value | A−B | of the difference between the contact angle A [°] of pure water with respect to the low affinity region and the contact angle B [°] of pure water with respect to the high affinity region was 120.
Next, a quartz glass substrate having a film formation surface vertically downward and Al (film material) were set in the chamber in the chamber. In this state, Al was supplied to the quartz glass substrate by vacuum deposition while heating the quartz glass substrate.
The quartz glass substrate was heated using an electric heater, the pressure in the chamber at the time of film formation was 1 × 10 −5 Torr or less, and the film formation time was 2 minutes. The heating temperature of the quartz glass substrate was 200 ° C.
Thus, an Al film (average thickness: about 150 nm, width of each part: about 60 μm) having a shape substantially corresponding to the shape “E” of the high affinity region was obtained.

Next, a quartz glass substrate having a film formation surface vertically downward and In (film material) were set in the material supply section in the chamber. In this state, In was supplied to the quartz glass substrate by vacuum deposition while heating the quartz glass substrate.
The quartz glass substrate was heated using an electric heater, the pressure in the chamber at the time of film formation was 1 × 10 −5 Torr or less, and the film formation time was 2 minutes. The heating temperature of the quartz glass substrate was 100 ° C.
Thus, an In film (average thickness: about 100 nm, width of each part: about 60 μm) having a shape substantially corresponding to the shape “E” of the high affinity region was obtained.
(Example 3)
First, a quartz glass substrate (base material) was prepared and washed with UV (wavelength 172 nm).
Next, tridecafluoro-1,1,2,2 tetrahydrooctyltriethoxysilane (silane coupling agent) is formed on the entire surface of the quartz glass substrate by a dipping method at 100 ° C. × 10. Heat treated in minutes.
The silane coupling agent was dissolved in a fluorine-based solvent (C 8 F 18 ) and adjusted to 0.1 vol%.
Thereafter, a patterned photomask is placed on the film forming surface, and the silane-based thin film is photolyzed by photolithography using vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) light having a wavelength of 172 nm.
As a result, a high affinity region (high lyophilic region) decomposed by light irradiation and a low affinity region (high liquid repellency region) that did not receive light were partitioned.
The planar shape of the high-affinity region was the capital letter “E” of the alphabet, and the width of each part was about 60 μm.
The absolute value | A−B | of the difference between the contact angle A [°] of pure water with respect to the low affinity region and the contact angle B [°] of pure water with respect to the high affinity region was 120 °. .
