（３）側地袋あるいは中素材の一方が損傷した場合には、損傷した方だけ廃棄すればよく、資源の節約になる。
（４）中素材パックに芯地が設けてある場合には、寝具全体をそのまま洗濯しても、洗濯中に掛かる張力を芯地が受けて、インナー側地や中綿への影響が小さくなり、へたりを防止することができ、綿切れの発生を防止することができる。また、バイヤスに変形する力がかかったとしても元の形状に復元させることができる。
