Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a paste used for decorating a surface of a silver clay fired body, such as a golden painting.
In recent years, silver clay containing silver powder has been commercially available, and this silver clay is molded into a predetermined shape to produce a shaped body, and then the shaped body is dried and then fired to obtain a silver treasure having a predetermined shape. Methods have been proposed for producing ornaments or arts and crafts. According to this method, silver clay can be freely modeled in the same way as ordinary clay work, and the modeled body obtained by modeling is dried and then transported to a place where a relatively small baking furnace is installed. Then, it is possible to produce silver jewelry or arts and crafts very easily by firing there.
However, silver jewelery or arts and crafts with a gold film formed by pasting and baking gold foil on a silver clay fired body are pasted on the surface of the silver clay fired body because the silver clay fired body further shrinks during baking. In addition, there were defects such as wrinkles generated on the gold foil, and the gold foil was not sufficiently bonded to the silver clay fired body so that it was easily peeled off. Therefore, normal gold powder or gold alloy powder is mixed with an organic binder and water, and the paste obtained by mixing the mixture is applied to the silver clay model with a brush, spatula, etc., dried, and then the silver clay model is dried. Attempts have also been made to sinter the gold powder or gold alloy powder contained in the paste when baked, thereby obtaining a silver jewelery or art craft having a gold coating on the surface. However, the paste obtained by mixing ordinary gold powder or gold alloy powder with an organic binder and water, the melting point of the ordinary gold powder or gold alloy powder is the melting point of silver powder containing silver clay The gold clay or gold alloy powder contained in the paste is not sufficiently fired at the firing temperature of the silver clay, so that the density of the resulting gold or gold alloy film is not sufficient, and it is easy to peel off. was there.
In order to improve this, a gold fluid paste obtained by using a spherical gold fine powder obtained by a chemical reduction method having an average particle size of 3 μm or less and mixing this spherical gold fine powder with an organic binder and water. This gold fluid paste is applied to a silver clay model with a brush or the like, dried, and then the silver clay model is fired, thereby producing a silver jewelery or art craft having a gold coating on the surface. A method has been proposed. The gold fluid paste used at this time has a composition comprising a spherical gold fine powder obtained by a chemical reduction method having an average particle size of 3 μm or less: 80%, water-soluble cellulose: 1.3%, and the balance: water. Paste or paste having a composition consisting of spherical gold fine powder: 80%, polyvinyl alcohol: 4%, balance: water obtained by a chemical reduction method having an average particle size of 3 μm or less is used. The gold powder contained in the body paste was obtained by a chemical reduction method, and the average particle size: spherical gold fine powder having a particle size of 3 μm or less has a finer average particle size than the silver powder contained in silver clay. It is known that a gold film having high density and excellent adhesion can be obtained even when firing at a temperature for firing (see Patent Document 1).
Further, an Au—Ag alloy powder (Au: 75%, Ag: 25%) having an average particle diameter of 3 μm or less obtained by atomization was used, and an Au—Ag alloy powder having an average particle diameter of 3 μm or less: 70 to 95%, organic binder: 1-8%, lower alcohol: 0.1-12%, sodium silicate: 0.01-2% A paste or the like is also known (see Patent Document 2).
However, the paste for surface decoration of a silver clay fired body containing a spherical gold fine powder having an average particle diameter of 3 μm or less obtained by a conventional chemical reduction method,
(B) A coating film having a golden color can be formed by applying this to the surface of a silver clay shaped body or a silver clay fired body, drying and firing, but the firing temperature is high and the firing temperature range and firing Since the time range is narrow, it is difficult to control the sintering conditions within a predetermined firing temperature and firing time range, and when firing at a high temperature outside this temperature for a long time, it is easy to lose the golden color of gold, On the other hand, there is a defect that if it is fired for a short time at a temperature lower than this temperature, it is easy to peel off, and the surface of the silver clay fired body containing Au—Ag alloy powder obtained by atomization and having an average particle diameter of 3 μm or less The paste does not need to accurately control the baking conditions because the baking temperature range and the baking time range are widened, and therefore it is easy to fire, but the disappearance of the golden color of gold (hereinafter, Color jump "hereinafter) is intense, there is a need for considerable skill is so as not to generate a color jump,
(B) Further, if it is attempted to dry more quickly, pores are formed inside the paste dry film obtained by applying to a silver clay shaped body or a silver clay fired body and drying to form a dense gold or gold alloy fluid paste There was a problem that a dry film was not obtained and the adhesion of the gold or gold alloy fluid paste paste dry film to the silver clay shaped body or silver clay fired body was insufficient.
Then, as a result of conducting research to solve such a problem, the present inventors,
(A) Silver clay fired body surface decoration paste containing a gold-silver mixed powder obtained by adding a small amount of pure Ag powder to pure Au powder, rather than a paste made of silver clay fired body containing pure Au powder or Au-Ag alloy powder Since the firing temperature range and firing time range are wider, it is not necessary to accurately control the temperature and time. Therefore, it is easy to fire, there are few color jumps, and the silver clay fired body of the obtained film The adhesion to
(B) The pure Au powder constituting the gold-silver mixed powder is an Au powder having an average particle diameter of 0.8 to 2.0 μm, while the pure Ag powder is an Ag having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 μm. More preferably, the pure Ag powder is finer than the Au powder, and the mixed powder of these element powders is a gold-silver mixed powder composed of Ag powder: 5 to 10% and Au powder: 90 to 95%. Preferably,
(C) The paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body containing the gold-silver mixed powder includes, in addition to the gold-silver mixed powder: 70 to 95%, an organic binder: 3 to 21%, a monohydric alcohol: 0.3 to 3 %, Polyhydric alcohol: 0.04 to 2%, liquid paraffin: 0.2 to 1%, and the balance is made of water. There is no pore in the dry paste film obtained by applying and drying the clay fired body, and the dried silver paste film is formed on the surface of the silver clay fired body substrate by firing this dry paste film. Research results such as further improvement in the adhesiveness to sapphire were obtained.

The monohydric alcohol contained in the paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body according to the present invention is a chain alcohol having one OH group and 1 to 5 carbon atoms, methanol, ethanol, propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol Pentyl alcohol is included, and ethanol having the least harm to the human body is most preferable.
The polyhydric alcohol contained in the silver clay fired body surface decoration or gold paste of the present invention is a chain alcohol having 2 or more OH groups and 1 to 5 carbon atoms, glycerin, diglycerin, Isoprene glycol, 1-3 butylene glycol and the like are included, among which glycerin is most preferable.

Therefore, the present invention
(3) The organic binder according to (1) or (2), wherein the organic binder is one or more of water-soluble polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol, dextran, pullulan, and xanthan gum. Silver clay fired body surface decoration paste,

(a)Ag粉末
Next, the reason why the component composition of the paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body of the present invention is limited as described above will be described.
(A) Gold-silver mixed powder (a) Ag powder Ag clay composing the gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste for silver clay fired body surface improves the sinterability of the Au powder, facilitates firing, and makes the coating obtained Although it is added to improve the adhesion, if the addition amount of Ag powder is less than 5%, the sinterability of the Au powder cannot be improved, and therefore the adhesion of the coating is lowered, which is not preferable. If it exceeds 10%, the color jumping becomes intense and the desired bright yellow color is not exhibited. Therefore, the composition of the gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body of the present invention was determined to contain 5% to 10% of Ag powder and the balance being Au powder.
Further, the average particle diameter of Ag powder added to Au powder is limited to 0.5 to 1.5 μm, because Ag powder is less than 0.5 μm because agglomeration becomes vigorous and fireability is deteriorated. On the other hand, if the thickness exceeds 1.5 μm, the sintering time of the Au powder contained in the paste is hindered and the firing time becomes longer, which is not preferable. Therefore, the Ag powder in the gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste for surface decoration of a silver clay fired body of the present invention was determined to have an average particle size of 0.5 to 1.5 μm. And since it is preferable to use Ag powder finer than Au powder as said Ag powder, it is still more preferable to add average particle diameter: Less than 0.7-1.0 micrometer Ag fine powder.
(B) Au powder The Au powder in the gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body of the present invention has an average particle size obtained by a conventionally known chemical reduction method: 0.8 to 2.0 μm However, it is preferable to use Au powder having an average particle diameter of 1.0 to 1.5 μm, which is an Au fine powder having a finer average particle diameter.
(B) Silver clay fired body surface decoration paste (i) The amount of gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste Ag powder: 5-10% of the gold-silver mixed powder containing Au powder is included in the paste If it is less than 70%, the content of the gold-silver mixed powder contained in the paste coating layer is too small to obtain a desired golden color, and the number of times of coating must be extremely increased to obtain the desired golden color. On the other hand, if the content exceeds 95%, the fluidity of the paste is lost, and it becomes impossible to apply uniformly, which is not preferable. Therefore, the content of the gold-silver mixed powder is set to 75 to 95% (more preferably 80 to 90%).
As an effect of adding the Ag powder together with the Au powder to the paste, the Ag powder added to the paste is finer than the Au powder and has a melting point lower than that of the Au powder. Progresses to form a bonded layer of the silver clay fired body and the Au powder, so that the adhesion of the coating is improved. On the other hand, most of the Au is inhibited in order to inhibit the Au powders from being fired and to inhibit the diffusion of Au. Since it remains as a simple substance of Au, it is considered that the golden color is easily developed even if the control of the firing conditions is insufficient.
(ii) Organic binder The organic binder is added to give the adhesiveness of the paste to the silver clay model, but if its content is less than 3%, sufficient viscosity cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if the content exceeds 21%, the viscosity becomes so high that it cannot be applied with a soft brush or the like. Therefore, the content of the organic binder (particularly preferably polyvinyl alcohol) is set to 3 to 21% (more preferably 6 to 15%).
(iii) Monohydric alcohol The monohydric alcohol is most preferably ethanol, and it is included in the paste for surface decoration of a silver clay fired body to improve the drying speed after it is applied to a silver clay shaped body, thereby improving the paste immediately after application. Although it has an action to prevent sagging, if its content is less than 0.3%, it takes time to dry, so it is not preferable because it cannot prevent sagging and spreading of the paste immediately after coating, while it exceeds 3%. Even if contained, there is no particular effect, and an alcoholic odor can be felt. Therefore, the content of monohydric alcohol is set to 0.3 to 3% (more preferably, 0.6 to 1.5%).
(Iv) Polyhydric alcohol The polyhydric alcohol is most preferably glycerin, and prevents the formation of fine pores inside the dried paste film obtained by containing this in the paste and delaying the drying of the paste surface, Furthermore, it has the effect of obtaining a paste dry film having excellent adhesion, but if its content is less than 0.04%, the desired effect cannot be obtained. It is not preferable because drying of the film is extremely delayed. Therefore, the glycerin content is set to 0.04 to 2% (more preferably, 0.1 to 1.0%).
(V) Liquid paraffin Liquid paraffin has the effect of increasing the releasability from the paste container by adding it to the paste for surface decoration of the silver clay fired body, but if its content is less than 0.2%, the paste in the container On the other hand, when the content exceeds 1.0%, it is not preferable because the paste film after drying is softened due to a large amount of oil. Therefore, the content of liquid paraffin is set to 0.2 to 1% (more preferably 0.3 to 0.8%).
By using the paste of the present invention, it is possible to easily decorate the surface of the silver clay fired body without failure, such as golden painting.
