Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a Rankine cycle power generation system that uses cold as an energy source.
As a power generation system that drives a turbine for power generation with high-pressure energy obtained by heating cooled air, for example, a power generation system described in
In this power generation system, the thermal energy of water is used for heating the cooled air, and LNG (liquefied natural gas) is adopted as a cold heat source.
The aim of this power generation system is to effectively use the cold energy that is wasted when LNG is vaporized in facilities using LNG as fuel.
In order to receive infinite supply of water for heating, it must be close to the sea, and a vast site with facilities such as a thermal power plant is also required.
Therefore, the installation location is limited, and it is not considered as a portable type.
Moreover, since it is premised on burning LNG, there is concern about air pollution by waste gas.
The present invention provides a pollution-free power generation system suitable for a portable type as well as improving the power generation efficiency by minimizing the waste of cold energy.
The present invention heats the secondary air cooled by heat exchange with the primary air, feeds the secondary air pressurized by the heating, drives the power generation turbine, and discharges it from the power generation turbine. In the Rankine cycle power generation system, the secondary air that has been used is returned to the heat exchange with the primary air and circulated for use, and the Rankine cycle power generation system uses heat generated by a compressor to heat the secondary air.
In this Rankine cycle power generation system, the primary air uses liquid air that does not contain moisture and carbon dioxide as well as the secondary air, and the primary air that has finished heat exchange with the secondary air is once adiabatically expanded. Then, it is used for heat exchange with the secondary air discharged from the turbine, the primary air that has finished the second heat exchange is heated with a heater, and the primary air that has been pressurized by the heating is heated to a sub-turbine for power generation To drive the power generation sub-turbine, release the primary air discharged from the power generation sub-turbine to the atmosphere, or cool the carbon dioxide by heat exchange, and use the heat generated by the compressor to generate the carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide gas heated by the heating is sent to the power generation turbine to drive the power generation turbine, and the carbon dioxide discharged from the power generation turbine is While recycled back to the heat exchange with the air, the primary air having been subjected to heat exchange with the carbon dioxide gas can be released into the atmosphere.
The Rankine cycle power generation system can be suitably used as a power source for driving a vehicle motor.
Because the heat generated by the compressor is used to heat the secondary air (carbon dioxide), it is easy to control the amount of heating, but the heat generated by various electric heaters is used to heat the secondary air (carbon dioxide). It doesn't matter.
Moreover, the utilization efficiency of primary air can be improved by utilizing effectively the cooling-heat energy which was used for cooling of secondary air.
Furthermore, if it is used for vehicles, a complete pollution-free vehicle can be realized.
The Rankine cycle power generation system of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. First, the path of primary air will be described.
3 is a heat exchanger, 4 is a heat exchange pipe disposed in the

Next, the Rankine cycle of air will be described.
The secondary air in the secondary

When the secondary air becomes insufficient during circulation of the Rankine cycle of air, for example, after being discharged from the secondary
In the secondary
Electric power generated by the
The surplus power that cannot be stored in the
By providing auxiliary energy storage means in this way, for example, when mounted on a vehicle that repeatedly travels and stops, it is possible to prevent waste of energy that is not used during the stop.

Therefore, the cold energy of the primary air can be used up effectively.
In the above embodiment, the power generation sub-turbine is directly driven by the remaining cold energy of the primary air, but it can also be used as the primary air for operating the Rankine cycle of carbon dioxide.
Next, an example of the change will be described.
FIG. 2 shows a Rankine cycle power generation system configured in two stages, that is, an air Rankine cycle and a carbon dioxide Rankine cycle. The parts common to those in the above-described embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
Both Rankine cycles have the same basic structure except that the fluid used is different between air and carbon dioxide.
However, in the heat exchanger used in the carbon dioxide Rankine cycle, a plurality of areas are not set in the carbon dioxide cooling chamber, and a simple type occupied in one area is adopted.
In the Rankine cycle power generation system formed in this way, heat exchange in the Rankine cycle of carbon dioxide gas is performed by primary air discharged from the
In the drawings, 29 is a carbon dioxide gas storage tank, 30 is a high-pressure pump, and 31 and 32 are generators attached to the high-
By using a two-stage configuration of an air Rankine cycle and a carbon dioxide Rankine cycle in this manner, the utilization efficiency of the cold energy can be increased.
As described above, since only the air (carbon dioxide) is discharged from the power generation system of the present invention and no harmful waste gas is contained, it can be said to be a clean power generation system that is friendly to the earth.
In the present invention, the means for adiabatic expansion of liquid air, the number of power generation turbines (including sub-turbines) to be used, and the like may be changed as appropriate without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
