Description

The present invention relates to a bone conduction type speaker and spectacles using the same.

。   2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a so-called bone-conducting speaker that transmits sound by applying mechanical vibration to a bone of a head, such as a skull, has been widely known. Such a bone conduction speaker SP is attached to both ends of the headband 1 like the headset HS shown in FIG. 8A, or like the glasses GS shown in FIG. 8B, for example. In addition, it is incorporated at the end of the temple 2 and arranged so that its vibration surface comes into contact with the head (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

A conventionally known bone conduction speaker 3 shown in FIG. 9 includes a housing 4, in which a voice coil 6 wound around a central magnetic pole 5 A of a yoke 5 and an outer periphery of the voice coil 6 are provided. The magnet 7 arranged and the diaphragm 8 arranged above the magnet 7 are accommodated (see Patent Document 2). The bone conduction speaker 3 is disposed such that the vibration surface 4A of the housing 4 comes into contact with the head via the headset HS, the glasses GS, and the like.

When an audio signal or an audio signal is input to the voice coil 6 of the bone conduction speaker 3, the diaphragm 8 vibrates in the vertical direction according to the signal. As a result of this vibration being transmitted to the housing 4, the vibration surface 4A of the housing 4 vibrates the bone of the head as if hitting the head, and sound is transmitted by bone conduction.

特開2003−18683号公報JP 2003-18683 A 特開2002−165297号公報JP 2002-165297 A

However, in order to increase sensitivity in this conventionally known bone conduction speaker 3, it is necessary to increase the contact area with the head by expanding the area of the vibration surface 4A. For this reason, the device tends to become large and easily noticeable when worn, and a predetermined pressure is intermittently applied to the head over a wide range. There was a case of feeling pain.

The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and can maintain a comfortable wearing feeling even when used for a long time, and also has a high sensitivity and a small size that is not noticeable at the time of wearing. An object of the present invention is to provide a bone conduction speaker and glasses using the same.

As a result of research, the inventor of the present invention is able to maintain a comfortable wearing feeling even when used for a long time, and has a small bone conduction speaker that is highly sensitive and hardly noticeable during wearing, and glasses using the same. The small bone conduction speaker and glasses using the same according to the present invention can maintain a comfortable wearing feeling even when used for a long time, and have an excellent effect of being highly sensitive and not easily noticeable when worn. .

The present invention relates to a bone conduction speaker configured to transmit sound by applying mechanical vibration to a bone of a head, wherein one of vibration directions is fixed to a mass member and rubs the head. Thus, the above problem is solved by providing a bone conduction speaker having a vibrator for vibrating the bone of the head.

Further, the present invention is a bone conduction speaker configured to transmit sound by applying mechanical vibration to the bone of the head, wherein one of the vibration directions is fixed to the mass member, and the head is hit. Thus, the same problem as described above is solved by providing a bone conduction speaker having a magnetostrictive member that vibrates the bone of the head.

Note that the “mass member” in the present invention is a member having a certain mass capable of receiving the vibration of the bone conduction speaker, and includes, for example, glasses and a headset.

Embodiments 1 and 2 of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the bone conduction speaker 10 according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a substantially cylindrical aluminum case 12 connected to the end of the vine 11 of the glasses GS <b> 1. .

In the case 12, a first bias magnet 14 disposed in the vicinity of the central position thereof, and a giant magnetostrictive member 16 (16A, 16B) disposed in the axial direction so as to sandwich the first bias magnet 14 are disposed. And the second and third bias magnets 18 and 20 disposed further outside in the axial direction of the super magnetostrictive member 16 and the drive coil 22 disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the super magnetostrictive member 16, and It is fixed by a screw 24 fitted to one end side of the case 12.

The bone conduction speaker 10 is disposed near the back of the ear so that the vibration direction X of the giant magnetostrictive member 16 is substantially parallel to the head.

The giant magnetostrictive member 16 uses a giant magnetostrictive element as a material. Here, the “super magnetostrictive element” is a magnetostrictive element made of a powder sintered alloy or a single crystal alloy containing a rare earth element and / or a specific transition metal as a main component (eg, terbium, dysprosium, iron, etc.). It has the property of causing large displacement when a magnetic field is applied from the outside.

A jack 28 is attached to the drive coil 22 via a lead wire 26. The drive coil 22 changes the magnetic field in the axial direction of the giant magnetostrictive member 16 in accordance with an audio signal or an audio signal from a hearing aid or an audio playback device connected to the jack 28.

Next, the operation of the bone conduction speaker 10 will be described.

When an audio signal or an audio signal is input to the drive coil 22 via the lead wire 26, the coil magnetic field of the drive coil 22 is changed by a drive current corresponding to these signals. With the change of the coil magnetic field, the giant magnetostrictive member 16 expands and contracts in the axial direction, and the case 12 vibrates the bone of the head in the X direction so as to rub the head. This vibration is transmitted to the brain via the bone of the head, and the user recognizes the voice.

According to the bone conduction speaker 10 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, one of the vibration directions is fixed to the glasses GS1 (mass member), and the giant magnetostrictive member vibrates the bone of the head so as to rub the head. Since the (vibrator) 16 is provided, the contact area with the head can be increased at the same time while realizing miniaturization, and the sensitivity can be improved while being less noticeable at the time of wearing. In addition, no pressure is applied to the head, and a comfortable wearing feeling can be maintained even when used for a long time.

In particular, since the vibrator is made of a giant magnetostrictive member, it is possible to further reduce the size and improve the sensitivity, and it can be formed into an elongated shape and can be easily applied to a temple of glasses.

Furthermore, since the bone conduction speaker 10 is disposed in the vicinity of the back of the ear, the sensitivity due to bone conduction can be further improved, and the wearing is less noticeable when viewed from the front.

Next, the bone conduction speaker 30 according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the bone conduction speaker 30 is arranged so that the vibration direction of the giant magnetostrictive member is substantially perpendicular to the head (Y direction in FIG. 5). The conduction speaker 30 vibrates the bones of the head as if hitting the head. Further, the bone conduction speaker 30 constitutes a part of the temple 31 of the glasses GS2. Since the structure itself is the same as that of the bone conduction speaker 10 according to the first embodiment, the description thereof is omitted.

According to the bone conduction speaker 30 according to the second embodiment of the present invention, one of the vibration directions is fixed to the glasses GS2 (mass member), and the giant magnetostrictive member that vibrates the bone of the head so as to strike the head. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the size and improve the sensitivity, and to form an elongated shape. Therefore, the sensitivity can be improved without increasing the contact area with the head, although the bone conduction speaker vibrates as if hitting the head. In addition, as with the bone conduction speaker 10 according to the first embodiment, a comfortable wearing feeling can be maintained even when used for a long time, and it is less noticeable when worn.

Further, since the bone conduction speaker 30 itself constitutes a part of the vine 31 of the glasses GS2, the bone conduction speaker 30 can be made even less conspicuous.

Furthermore, since the bone conduction speaker 30 is disposed in the vicinity of the end of the temple 31 of the glasses GS2, vibration can be further increased.

The bone conduction speaker according to the present invention is not limited to the shape and structure of the bone conduction speakers 10 and 30 in the first and second embodiments. For example, when it is not necessary to increase the sensitivity so much. May employ a magnetostrictive member instead of the giant magnetostrictive member 16. In the first embodiment, a piezoelectric member such as a piezoelectric ceramic may be applied to the vibrator. Further, the case 12 is not limited to an aluminum one. Since the case 12 plays the role of transmitting the vibration of the giant magnetostrictive member 16, it is preferably formed of a nonmagnetic member having elasticity excellent in vibration transmission.

In the first embodiment, the bone conduction speaker 10 is attached to the end of the temple 11 of the glasses GS1, and in the second embodiment, the bone conduction speaker 30 is a part of the temple 31 of the glasses GS2. However, the glasses using the bone conduction speaker according to the present invention are not limited thereto.

Therefore, for example, like the glasses GS3 shown in FIG. 6, if the end of the temple 32 is brought into contact with the side wall of the ear canal, sound can be transmitted from the ear canal via the temple 32 by bone conduction, Furthermore, the sensitivity can be improved.

Furthermore, if a wireless communication device 34 as wireless communication means is provided as in the glasses GS4 shown in FIG. 7, and the vine 36 also serves as an antenna of the wireless communication device 34, sound from a hearing aid, an audio reproduction device, or the like will be provided. Signals and audio signals can be received wirelessly.

The bone conduction speaker according to the present invention and the glasses using the same can be applied as a speaker for a hearing aid, an audio playback device, or the like.
