Description

The present invention relates to a gaming machine having a gaming board in the machine and further connecting the gaming board to an external computer (hereinafter also referred to as a hall computer).

A gaming machine such as a slot machine or a pachinko machine has a game board in the machine, and the game board is connected to an external (game room) computer. The connection between the game board and the hall computer is made through a relay board fixed to the gaming machine side, and conventionally, this relay board is firmly attached in the machine by fixing means such as screws.

As described above, the relay board is interposed between the game board and the external computer, and there is a possibility that the game board may be illegally controlled by performing unauthorized work on the relay board. Inspecting the relay board is indispensable for detecting such illegal work, but since conventional game machines were firmly attached so that the relay board could not be removed without a tool such as a screwdriver, There was a problem that sufficient inspection could not be performed due to the time required.

A tool-free board holding means having a relay board for connecting a game board provided in the machine and an external computer, and a board holder fixed in the machine, wherein the relay board can be attached to and detached from the board holder only by hand. And a relay board is held by the board holder by the board holding means, so that the relay board is mounted in the machine via the board holder.

Since the relay board is simply held by the board holding means that does not require a tool to be attached to and detached from the board holder, it can be easily and quickly attached and detached by hand. Therefore, the assembly and inspection of the relay board can be performed efficiently.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to a slot machine as a gaming machine. 1A is an exploded perspective view of the substrate holder and the relay substrate, FIG. 1B is a perspective view showing a state in which the relay substrate is held by the substrate holder, and FIGS. 2A (a) to 2A (c). FIG. 2B is a longitudinal sectional view showing a state where the relay substrate is held by the substrate holder, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a state where the relay substrate is held by the substrate holder. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the substrate holder and the relay substrate, FIG. 5 is a side view of the slot machine, and FIG. 6 is a front sectional view of the slot machine.

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the slot machine 1 has a box-shaped outer frame 2 in which the back surface of a side frame 2a framed in a square shape in front view is covered with a back plate 2b, and a single opening on the front surface of the outer frame 2. The front panel 3 rotatably attached to the door shape, the game medium discharge device 4 for discharging a medal as a game medium to the player as a prize, and three reels that can be rotated individually as main components Fluctuation device 5 and various switches (power switch 6, error release switch 7, key switch 8 for hit rate setting operated by a key for changing probability setting, stop switch 9, settlement switch 10 and the like) are provided. A power supply device 11 and a game board 12 for controlling the slot machine 1 are included.

Among these components, the power supply device 11 is located behind the symbol variation device 5 and is attached to the back plate 2b of the outer frame 2, while the game board 12 is attached to the housing 5a of the symbol variation device 5. Both are directly connected by coupling between the drawer connectors 13a and 13b. The game board 12 is slidably attached to the base 5b fixed to the top of the housing 5a of the symbol change device 5 so that the symbol change device 5 is fixed to the partition plate 5c of the outer frame 2. The base 5b is slid and the drawer connector 13b of the power supply device 11 is fitted into the drawer connector 13b. In this way, when the game board 12 and the power supply device 11 are directly connected by the drawer connectors 13a and 13b, for example, an illegal board is incorporated between the game board 12 and the power supply apparatus 11 to control the game board 12 without permission. Can counter such fraud.

The game board 12 and a hall computer (not shown) are connected via a relay board 14. At least two connectors 15 and 16 are installed on the relay board 14, and one of the connectors 15 is paired with a connector 18 of a cable 17 (see FIG. 7) connected to the game board 12, and the other connector 16 is connected. Paired with the connector 20 of the cable 19 connected to the hall computer.

The relay substrate 14 is mounted in the machine via a substrate holder 100 fixed to the inner surface of the side frame 2a of the outer frame 2. The substrate holder 100 has a tool-free substrate holding means that allows the relay substrate 14 to be attached and detached with only a human hand, and the relay substrate 14 is held by the substrate holding means.

FIG. 1 and FIG. 2A show an example of such a substrate holder 100. The substrate holder 100 is a box type slightly longer than the relay substrate 14 and has an opening 101 on the front surface. The lower frame 102 is provided at the lower edge, the upper frame 103 is provided at the upper edge of the opening 101, and the recess 104 is provided on the left and right edges of the opening 101 to sandwich the relay board 14 with fingers. Become. The dimensional relationship of the main part of the substrate holder 100 is that the distance from the upper edge of the lower frame 102 to the inner surface of the top plate 105 of the substrate holder 100 is slightly larger than the height of the relay substrate 14, and from the lower edge of the upper frame 103 to the substrate. The distance to the upper surface of the bottom plate 106 of the holder 100 is smaller than the height of the relay substrate 14.

When the relay substrate 14 is attached to the substrate holder 100, the relay substrate 14 is erected as shown in FIG. 2A (a), and both sides are sandwiched between fingers, and from there as shown in FIG. 2A (b). While tilting the head of the relay board 14 backward, the head is inserted into the back of the opening 101, and then the relay board 14 is returned to the vertical while the lower edge is put into the back of the lower frame 102 and released. Then, as shown in FIG. 2A (b), the relay substrate 14 is lowered by its own weight and placed on the bottom plate 106 of the substrate holder 100. In this state, even if the relay board 14 tilts forward, the head does not come out of the opening 101 by hitting the upper frame 103, and the relay board 14 does not come off the board holder 100 unless the operation opposite to the above is performed consciously. .

If it is still necessary to ensure that the relay substrate 14 is fixed, a stopper 107 that restricts the movement of the relay substrate 14 in the substrate holder 100 may be provided on the substrate holder 100 as shown in FIG. The illustrated stopper 107 is a plug type that is inserted into and removed from the upper part of the side surface of the substrate holder 100, and intervenes between the head of the relay substrate 14 and the top plate 105 of the substrate holder 100 with the solid line inserted in the figure. Stops moving. The relay board 14 whose movement in the board holder 100 is restricted cannot get over the lower frame 102 and therefore cannot be removed from the board holder 100. Of course, the illustrated stopper 107 is only an example and is not limited to such a structure. For example, a cylinder is protruded from the substrate holder 100, and the stopper 107 is placed in the cylinder so that the stopper 107 and the substrate holder 100 are provided. May be integrated.
Further, as a measure for stabilizing the relay board 14, ribs 124 and 124 that contact the back side of the relay board 14 are provided on the board holder 100 so as to protrude as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. The lower side may be sandwiched between the ribs 124 and 124 and the lower frame 102 as shown in FIG. 2B. By doing so, play in the substrate holder 100 of the relay substrate 14 is reduced and stabilized. The lengths of the ribs 124 are preferably set so as not to step into the upper region covered with the upper frame 103 so that the relay board 14 can be taken in and out. If the ribs 124 and 124 are arranged at positions directly behind the connectors 15 and 16, the relay board 14 does not bend even when the connectors 18 and 20 are inserted into the connectors 15 and 16, so that the circuit of the relay board 14 is not bent. Does no damage. In addition, since the ribs 124 and 124 become pillows and an electrically insulating space is formed on the back surface of the relay substrate 14, the effect of preventing a short circuit of the wiring pattern on the back surface of the relay substrate 14 is also exhibited. By capturing the effect of the ribs 124 and 124, the ribs 124 and 124 can be understood as an embodiment of an insulating unit for the wiring pattern of the relay substrate 14.

Since the connectors 15 and 16 are exposed to the inside of the slot machine 1 on the relay board 14 held by the board holder 100 as described above, both the connectors 15 and 16 are as shown in FIG. 2A (c). The connector 18 of the game board 12 and the connector 20 of the hall computer can be inserted or removed.
Further, the inspection of the relay board 14 is performed in the reverse order of the mounting in the order of FIGS. 2A (c) to 2A (b) to 2A (a) with the connectors 18 and 20 connected or disconnected. The relay substrate 14 may be removed from the substrate holder 100. The procedure for returning the relay substrate 14 to the substrate holder 100 after the inspection is completed is as described above.

By the way, as the play of the relay board 14 becomes larger in the board holder 100, it becomes easier to put in and out, but the instability when connecting the connectors 15, 16, 18, 20 increases.
However, such a minus surface can be easily eliminated by providing the substrate holder 100 with a lid-shaped connecting member 108 as shown in FIG.
That is, the connecting member 108 in FIG. 4 has a contact plate 110 that pushes the relay substrate 14 inward and a window hole 111 through which the connectors 15 and 16 pass, on the front surface of the lid main body 109 that covers the outside of the substrate holder 100. When the connecting member 108 is put on the board holder 100 in which the connector is inserted, the connectors 15 and 16 protrude from the window hole 111 to the outside, and the relay board 14 is pushed into the back so as to be in an almost upright stationary state. Therefore, workability is good because the relay board 14 does not move when the connectors 15, 16, 18, 20 are attached and detached. Therefore, the play of the relay board 14 in the board holder 100 can be set large so that priority is given to the operability regarding the insertion and removal of the relay board 14.
The substrate holder 100 and the connecting member 108 are formed with a ridge 112 and a concave groove (not shown) that can be engaged with each other, and by engaging both, the substrate holder 100 and the connecting member 108 are coupled, Further, it can be easily detached simply by pulling the connecting member 108.

As is clear from the above description, in the embodiment, the substrate holding means is mainly an organic relationship between the upper frame 103, the lower frame 102, and the opening 101. In addition, since the connection member 108 is added in the embodiment of FIG. 4, the upper frame 103 and the lower frame 102 may be omitted depending on circumstances.

The embodiments of the present invention have been described above, but the present invention is of course not limited to the above embodiments. Accordingly, some embodiments other than those described above will be described below as examples.

The substrate holder 100 shown in FIG. 7 is a pocket type in which the relay substrate 14 is slid out and inserted, and grooves 113, 114, 115 in which both edges and bottom sides of the relay substrate 14 are fitted on both sides and bottom of the substrate holder 100. The relay substrate 14 is inserted and removed from above the left and right grooves 113 and 114.

The substrate holder 100 of FIG. 7 is configured as described above, and can of course be implemented as it is. However, it is better to make the following improvements.
That is, the substrate holder 100 of FIG. 7 does not slide easily because the relay substrate 14 rubs directly into the grooves 113, 114, and 115, and the relay substrate 14 may be damaged if it is forcibly pushed.
The substrate holder 100 of FIGS. 8 and 9 is provided with an improvement measure for such a problem. A sliding plate 117 having a recess 116 for accommodating the relay substrate 14 is provided, and the sliding plate 117 is attached to the substrate holder 100. The groove 113, 114, 115 was fitted and slid. The depth of the recess 116 is set to be equal to or greater than that of the relay board 14 so that the relay board 14 accommodated in the recess 116 does not directly touch the grooves 113, 114, 115. By inserting such a sliding plate 117, the relay board 14 can be inserted and removed smoothly, and there is no possibility of damage because an excessive force is not applied to the relay board 14.
The sliding plate 117 is preferably extended in the vertical direction so as to be significantly longer than the grooves 113 and 114 so that the relay board 14 can be attached and detached while being fitted in the grooves 113 and 114.

As is apparent from the above description, the substrate holding means of the first embodiment is the grooves 113, 114, 115 in FIG. 7, and the grooves 113, 114 and the sliding plate 117 in FIGS.

The substrate holder shown in FIG. 10 includes a fixing member 118 that is fixed in the machine and a connecting member 108 that is attached to the relay substrate 14.
The fixing member 118 includes a fixed base plate 119 that is screwed to the inner surface of the side frame 2 a of the outer frame 2, a standing wall 120 that protrudes on both sides of the base plate 119, and a cross section that protrudes outside the standing wall 120. A semicircular ridge 112 is generally configured.
On the other hand, the connecting member 108 includes a connecting main plate 121 and a joint plate 123 having a concave groove 122 that protrudes on both sides of the connecting main plate 121 and meshes with the ridge 112 of the standing wall 120. The connecting member 108 has a window hole 111 that is wide enough to allow the connectors 18 and 20 to pass but not the relay board 14. The connector 18 is connected to the window 18 through the cables 17 and 19. , 20 are connected to the connectors 15 and 16 of the relay board 14. Then, since the relay board 14 is caught in the window hole 111, the connecting member 108 does not come off from the cables 17, 19, that is, the connecting member 108 is suspended from the cables 17, 19 and attached to the relay board 14. When the connecting member 108 is attached to the fixing member 118 in this state, the intermediate board 14 interposed therebetween is supported and held by the connecting member 108, and when the connecting member 108 is removed from the fixing member 118, the connecting member 108 is attached to the connecting member 108. Then, the relay substrate 14 is also detached from the fixing member 118. In the state in which the relay board 14 is inspected, the connecting member 108 is hung on the cables 17 and 19, so that there is no possibility that the connecting member 108 may be placed or the connecting member 108 may be lost.

As is clear from the above description, the substrate holding means of the substrate holder 100 in the second embodiment is mainly the connecting member 108.

In FIG. 10, reference numeral 125 denotes a receiving piece provided at the lower end of the standing wall 120 of the fixing member 118, and the movement of the connecting member 108 is restricted by the receiving piece 125.
Further, the means for connecting the connecting member 108 to the fixing member 118 is not limited to the meshing of the ridge 112 and the groove 122 as described above. For example, as shown in FIG. 11, the joint plate 123 of the connecting member 108 is inclined in a letter C shape, while the standing wall 120 of the fixing member 118 is inclined in a letter C shape that matches the joint plate 123. The fixing member 118 and the connecting member 108 may be held together by the engagement of 123 and the standing wall 120. This so-called dovetail structure can be manufactured easily and at a lower cost than the case where the ridges 112 and the concave grooves 122 are formed.

The substrate holder 100 shown in FIGS. 12 to 17 is configured such that the connecting member 108 has a function of holding the relay substrate 14. The upper frame 103, the lower frame 102, the opening 101, and the substrate holder 100 shown in FIG. The top plate 105, the bottom plate 106, and the dimensional relationship between them and the relay substrate 14 are applied to the connecting member 108 as they are. Further, the connecting member 108 has a window hole 111 similar to that of the second embodiment, and is further provided with a ridge 112 and a groove 122 for attaching the connecting member 108 to the fixing member 118.

Thus, the substrate holder 100 according to the third embodiment has a bed shape in which the fixing member 118 fits perfectly into the opening 101 of the connecting member 108, and the relay is between the fixing member 118 and the connecting member 108 in the fitted state. A narrow gap is formed so that one substrate 14 can be accommodated.
Accordingly, in the same manner as described in FIGS. 2A (a) to 2A (c), the relay board 14 is accommodated in the connecting member 108 by the procedure of FIGS. 15 (a) to 15 (c). When fitted to the fixing member 118, the relay substrate 14 is sandwiched in the gap between the fixing member 118 and the connecting member 108 and is stabilized. In this state, the back of the relay board 14 is supported by the fixing member 118, so that the connectors 15 and 16 and the connectors 18 and 20 are connected and separated with the same feeling as when the relay board 14 is directly fixed to the outer frame 2. Can be done. Further, since the relay board 14 is held on the connection member 108 side, the back side of the relay board 14 can be confirmed simply by removing the connection member 108 from the fixing member 118 and turning it over, and at that time, it is not necessary to touch the relay board 14 directly. There is no risk of damage to the game board 12 or the hall computer due to static electricity.

In addition to the case where the connecting member 108 according to the third embodiment is attached to and detached from the fixing member 118 as described above, for example, as shown in FIG. Also good. In this case, there is an effect that the back side of the relay substrate 14 can be confirmed without removing the connecting member 108 from the fixing member 118. 5 and 6, if the substrate holder 100 is provided at a higher position than the symbol variation device 5, the symbol variation device 5 is not likely to get in the way when the connecting member 108 is opened and closed.

The following technical idea can be understood from the above description.
“A gaming machine provided with a relay board for connecting a game board provided in the machine and an external computer, and a board box for a relay board having the following requirements (a) to (d).
(A) The board box is composed of a fixing member and a connecting member that forms a pair with the fixing member, and the fixing member is fixed or integrated on the gaming machine side.
(B) A substrate holding means for holding the relay substrate is provided on either the fixing member or the connecting member.
(C) The substrate holding means has a simple holding structure in which the relay substrate can be attached and detached by hand. On the other hand, the fixing member and the connecting member are combined with a member of the fixing member or the connecting member on which the substrate holding means is not provided. Then, a board fixing means for fixing the position of the relay board (for example, the abutment plate 110 of the connecting member 108 in FIG. 4 and the fixing member 118 in FIG. 12) is provided.
(D) The connecting member is provided with a window hole for allowing the connector of the relay board to face the outside.

In the above technical idea, when the coupling between the connecting member and the fixing member of the board box is released, the relay board is unfixed, and the relay board is simply held by the fixing member or the connecting member with the tool-free board holding means. It can be easily and quickly attached and removed. Therefore, the assembly and inspection of the relay board can be performed efficiently.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments and examples, the present invention is of course not limited to the above-described embodiments. For example, in the embodiments and the like, a slot machine is exemplified as a gaming machine, but the present invention can also be applied to other gaming machines such as a pachinko machine. In particular, in the case of a pachinko machine, the relay board 14 is attached to a mechanism board made of synthetic resin, so that the mechanism board and the substrate holder 100 (members fixed to the side frame 2a of the outer frame 2 in the above) are integrated by resin molding. Also good.
Moreover, although the relay board | substrate 14 of embodiment etc. is a vertically long form, it is applicable similarly to a horizontally long form relay board.
Further, as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 12, the connecting member 108 is attached to the back side of the relay board 14 so as to be integrated or detachable, and the relay board 14 is attached to and detached from the fixing member 118 via the connecting member 108. You may make it make it. In addition, although the connecting member 108 of the two-dot chain line in FIG. 12 is attached so as to be in close contact with the entire back side of the relay substrate 14, the connecting member 108 is divided on the left and right and attached to the back surface of the relay substrate 14. As a result, An electrically insulating space may be formed on the back surface of the relay substrate 14.
Further, the connecting member 108 of the substrate holder 100 described above may be formed of a transparent synthetic resin. By doing so, since the state of the surface of the relay substrate 14 can be confirmed through the connecting member 108, the inspection efficiency is further improved.

In addition, in the embodiment and the like, the connecting member 108 can be freely attached / detached by anyone, but a sealing means for leaving the attaching / detaching trace of the connecting member 108 may be provided separately. By doing so, the crime prevention effect is further enhanced.
1A and 2B, the insulating means of the relay board 14 having the ribs 124 and 124 as an embodiment, that is, the back surface of the relay board 14 is lifted with respect to the board holder 100 to provide an electrically insulating space. The insulating means to be formed is applicable to all the embodiments and the like described in this specification. Further, a structure in which the insulating means is formed of ribs and the ribs are arranged directly behind the connectors 15 and 16 of the relay substrate 14 can be applied to all the embodiments and the like described in this specification.
