Abstract
Description
本発明において赤橙色発光層の発光材料として用いる化合物としては、例えば、以下の式(4)〜(6)に示すような化合物が挙げられる。
表1に示す材料を用いて、ホール注入層、ホール輸送層、赤橙色発光層、青色発光層、電子輸送層及び陰極(電子注入電極)を形成した。表において( )内の数値は各層の厚み(nm)を示している。
表2に示すように、比較例1の赤橙色発光層においては、NPBをホスト材料として用い、ジフェニルペンタセンを発光ドーパントとして用い、tBuDPNを補助ドーパントとして用いている。また、比較例2の赤橙色発光層においては、NPBをホスト材料として用い、化合物5を発光ドーパントとして用い、tBuDPNを補助ドーパントして用いている。
表1及び表2に示す実施例1〜3及び比較例1〜2の有機EL素子について、発光特性を評価した。評価結果を表1及び表2に示す。なお、寿命は1500cd/m2が750cd/m2になる半減期として示している。

Claims (5)
- 一対の電極間に積層して配置された赤橙色発光層と青色発光層とを備える有機エレクトロルミネッセント素子であって、
前記赤橙色発光層に、以下の一般式(1)で表される発光材料が含まれていることを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセント素子。
- 前記赤橙色発光層及び青色発光層の発光側に設けられるカラーフィルターをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセント素子。
