Description

The present invention relates to an individual packaging structure for absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins.

Conventionally, sanitary napkins as absorbent articles are, for example, a top sheet provided on a skin contact surface in contact with a human body, a back sheet provided on a non-skin contact surface opposite to the top sheet, and both sheets The back sheet is provided with an adhesive layer for adhering the underwear and the sanitary napkin. The sanitary napkin is individually packaged. For example, the sanitary napkin can be separated from the release paper provided on the individual package and the adhesive layer of the back sheet in a longitudinal direction. An individual packaging structure is known in which a fixing material is arranged and fixed on the outer surface of the individual packaging material, and both side edge portions in the longitudinal direction are thermocompression bonded by heat sealing (for example, Patent Document 1).

According to this individual packaging structure, by pinching the fixing material in the longitudinal direction, spreading the sanitary napkin in the longitudinal direction, exposing the inner surface of the individual packaging material, pinching one end of the sanitary napkin adhered on the individual packaging material, A sanitary napkin can be put on in a short time.

In addition, as another individual packaging structure, without using release paper, the adhesive layer is directly attached to the individual packaging so that the adhesive layer can be peeled off, the both longitudinal ends are folded inside the individual packaging, and the other folded over the folded part. An individual packaging structure is known in which the portions are overlapped, the overlapping portions are temporarily fixed, and then folded in the longitudinal direction and fixed with a fixing material (Patent Document 2).
In this individual packaging structure, the lateral width in the individual packaging form is made smaller than the product width and made compact by adopting a structure in which the individual packaging material is folded inward together with the sanitary napkin placed thereon. In addition, since thermocompression bonding with heat sealing is not performed, it is possible to make the sound at the time of opening very small.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-33587 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-290819

However, in the case of the individual packaging structure of Patent Document 1, since both side edges in the longitudinal direction of the individual packaging material are thermocompression bonded by heat sealing, when the fixing material is pulled for opening, the heat seal is broken. There is a problem that some users feel shame because a sound is generated and the sound is heard outside even in a private room of the toilet. Furthermore, in order to heat-seal using a portion that protrudes outward from the sanitary napkin in a folded state, a large individual material having a width equal to or greater than the width of the sanitary napkin is required. That is, since the product width in the folded state becomes larger than the sanitary napkin width, there is a problem that it is bulky to carry and feels inconvenient.
On the other hand, in the case of the individual packaging structure described in Patent Document 2, the product is not exposed just by peeling off the fixing material and spreading the product in the longitudinal direction. There was a problem that it was not possible to take out the product, and it took time and effort to open the product and take out the product.

Then, the subject of this invention is providing the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article which can take out an absorbent article easily with few effort with a compact individual packaging form.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article according to the third aspect, the individual packaging material has a trapezoidal shape, and the folds of the folded portion are the upper bottom portion and the lower portion of the individual packaging material. It is characterized by being perpendicular to the bottom.
Thereby, the shape at the time of folding the longitudinal both-sides edge part of an absorbent article and an individual packaging material inside can be made into a rectangular shape.

The invention according to claim 5 is the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the length of the individual packaging material in the short direction is equal to or less than the width of the absorbent article. It is characterized by that.

The invention according to claim 6 is the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the absorbent article includes a top sheet provided on the skin contact surface side and the non-skin contact surface. A back sheet provided on the side, an absorbent body interposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and a hip hold flap extending laterally from both side edges on the rear side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body And.

The invention according to claim 7 is the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the individual packaging material is a nonwoven fabric.

The invention according to claim 8 is the individual packaging structure of the absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein an outer sheet is provided on the outer surface of the individual packaging material.
Thereby, even if the individual packaging material is cut in the production line, it is possible to convey the absorbent article in the individual packaging process by the outer sheet.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the folded portion is formed, the width of the absorbent article in the individual packaging form can be made smaller than the width of the absorbent article. Can be made compact. In addition, by exposing the absorbent article from the gap provided between the two folded portions on both sides of the longitudinal side, just spreading the absorbent article of the individual packaging form in the longitudinal direction, pinching the absorbent article, It can be peeled off from the individual packaging and can be mounted, and it can be opened in a short time without the trouble of opening in the longitudinal direction and further in the left-right direction.

According to the invention described in claim 2, it is natural that the effect of the invention described in claim 1 can be obtained, and when bonding the individual packaging materials, both ends of each folded portion, a total of four locations. It becomes possible to bond with temporary fixing, and it becomes unnecessary to bond individual packaging materials by heat sealing over the longitudinal side edge as in the conventional case, and it occurs when the heat seal is cleaved. It prevents cracking noise and suppresses the opening sound itself. In addition, it can be fixed at the four temporary fixing portions, and no heat sealing is required, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.

According to the invention described in claim 3, since the width of the absorbent article in the individually packaged state can be made smaller than the width of the absorbent article, the individual packaged state can be made compact. In addition, by exposing the absorbent article from the gap provided between the two folded portions on both side edges on the longitudinal side, the absorbent article in a packaged state is simply spread in the longitudinal direction, and the absorbent article is pinched, It can be peeled off from the individual packaging and can be mounted, and it can be opened in a short time without the trouble of opening in the longitudinal direction and further in the left-right direction.
In addition, since at least one temporary fixing portion can be provided, it is possible to save more labor for manufacturing, and it is possible to reduce manufacturing costs and material costs.

According to the invention described in claim 4, the effect of the invention described in claim 3 can be obtained, particularly when the longitudinal both side edges of the absorbent article and the individual packaging material are folded inward. Since the shape can be made rectangular, the appearance quality in the individual packaging form is not impaired. In addition, in the case of a rectangular individual packaging material, it is necessary to provide a short width of the individual packaging material in accordance with the maximum width of the absorbent article, but in the case of a trapezoidal individual packaging material, the upper bottom part and the lower bottom part Since the width can be changed, depending on the shape of the absorbent article to be individually packaged, it becomes possible to obtain a more individually packaged material shape, and the material cost can be reduced.

According to the invention described in claim 5, it is natural that the effects of the invention described in claims 1 to 4 can be obtained, and in order to make the width of the individual packaging material less than the width of the absorbent article, the individual packaging material It becomes possible to use less material. As a result, the cost can be reduced, the amount of dust generated after use can be reduced, and the thickness and width of the individual package can be reduced.

According to the invention described in claim 6, it is natural that the effect of the invention described in claim 4 or 5 can be obtained, and an absorptivity having a hip hold flap having a large portion protruding outward from the absorbent body. Articles can be folded compactly and packaged individually.

According to the seventh aspect of the invention, it is natural that the effects of the first to sixth aspects of the invention can be obtained. It can be suppressed.

According to the invention described in claim 8, since the effects of the invention described in claims 1-7 can be obtained, the outer sheet enables the absorbent article to be conveyed in the individual packaging process. In a production line that transports absorbent articles using materials, even if individual packaging materials are cut along the way, absorbent articles can be transported using this outer sheet, greatly increasing the production line. The absorbent article of the individual packaging form as described in any one of Claims 1-7 can be manufactured without improving, and the cost for a manufacturing line improvement can be saved.

The back sheet 3 is provided on the non-skin contact surface side opposite to the skin contact surface, plays a role of not causing menstrual blood absorbed by the absorber 4 to the underwear, and is a liquid-impermeable sheet.
The liquid-impermeable sheet is, for example, a sheet material having at least water shielding properties such as polyethylene, and is preferably a moisture-permeable sheet material from the viewpoint of preventing stuffiness. As a sheet material having this water barrier property and moisture permeability, for example, a sheet is formed by melting and kneading an inorganic filler in an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene, and then stretched in a uniaxial or biaxial direction. The microporous sheet material obtained by is preferably used.

The absorber 4 functions to absorb bodily fluids, and is composed of, for example, a superabsorbent polymer such as a superabsorbent polymer, a superabsorbent fiber, pulp, etc., and has a single layer structure made of these materials. Alternatively, a structure divided into a plurality of layers may be used.

The locking pieces 6a and 6a are, for example, generally called wings or flaps, and the napkin 1 is attached to the underwear, folded back to the back sheet 3 with the crotch portion of the underwear sandwiched, and the skin contact surface of the underwear By adhering to the opposite surface, it plays the role of preventing the displacement of the napkin 1 due to the movement of the wearer. The locking pieces 6 a and 6 a can be formed by extending the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3, but may be separate members. In this case, the locking pieces 6a and 6a may be formed using a liquid-permeable material or a liquid-impermeable material.

The adhesive layer 7 plays a role for fixing the napkin 1 to the underwear. In the present embodiment, a center adhesive layer 7a that is elongated along the longitudinal direction at the center in the width direction of the back sheet 3 on the non-skin contact surface side of the napkin body 11, and the center adhesive layer 7a is sandwiched between There are a total of eight adhesive layers 7, side adhesive layers 7 b, 7 b and 7 c, 7 provided on the longitudinal center and rear part, and locking adhesive layers 7 c, 7 c provided on the locking pieces 6 a, 6 a, respectively. Is formed. The number and location of the adhesive layers 7 are not limited to this, and may be provided as appropriate.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive for forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 7 is an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive mainly composed of polyacrylic acid ester and generally excellent in durability, and elastic components and tackifiers of natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Is a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive in which a plasticizer and an anti-aging agent are blended, or a known pressure-sensitive adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive.

As a material of the individual packaging material 8 for individually packaging the napkin 1, for example, a nonwoven fabric is used. The nonwoven fabric is formed by entanglement of long fibers and short fibers, so it is soft and does not easily generate sound during handling. Therefore, the generation of sound at the time of opening can be suppressed. In addition to the non-woven fabric, a known material such as polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene, polyvinyl alcohol, paper, or a composite thereof may be used as the material for the individual packaging material 8. In any case, at least a portion of the inner surface where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 7 abuts is peeled off and needs to have peelability.

The fixing material 9 is a member for fixing the napkin 1 by bonding it to the outer surface of the individual packaging material 8 when the napkin 1 is individually packaged. In addition, when opening from the individually packaged form, the fixing material 9 is also peeled off from the outer surface 8b of the individually packaged material 8 so that the opening is easily performed. In the present embodiment, it is attached to the rear part of the individual packaging material 8, but depending on the packaging order, it may be in front of the packaging material 8, and may not be provided if it is not particularly necessary.

Next, the individual packaging structure of the napkin 1 that is a feature of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, a pair of left and right engaging pieces 6 a, 6 a are provided on the longitudinal side edges 6 b, 6 b of the napkin body 11, and the individual packaging material 8 is composed of the back sheet 3 of the napkin body 11 and The locking pieces 6a, 6a are in contact with the adhesive layer 7 provided on the back sheet 3 side so as to be peelable. The width in the short direction of the individual packaging material 8 is not more than the length in the width direction of the napkin 1 between the both ends in the width direction of the locking pieces 6a, 6a, most preferably the locking pieces 6a, What is necessary is just to have a width | variety required in order to protect the adhesion layer 7 provided in 6a.
Accordingly, when the locking pieces 6a, 6a and the individual packaging material 8 are folded back to the top sheet 2 side, the two folded portions 12 do not overlap with each other, so the edges of the two folded portions 12 are separated from each other. A gap will be formed. And the center part of the napkin 1 will be exposed from this clearance gap part.

Next, the individual packaging process of the napkin 1 will be described with reference to FIG.
First, from the state in which the napkin 1 is in contact with the individual dressing material 8 (FIG. 3A), the longitudinal side edges 8a of the individual packaging material 8 are folded back to the top sheet 2 side (skin contact surface side) ( 3 (b)), the four inner portions 12a and 12b in the longitudinal direction of the folded portion 12 are temporarily fastened to the inner surfaces of the individual packaging materials 8 by an adhesive means such as hot melt, and the temporary fastening portion 13 is obtained. Is formed (FIG. 3C).
Next, the individual packaging material 8 and the front portion 10c of the napkin 1 are folded to the top sheet 2 side with a length of about 1/3 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 (FIG. 3 (d)), and the napkin 1 Similarly, the individual packaging material 8 and the rear part 10a of the napkin 1 are folded to the top sheet 2 side (FIG. 3 (e)), and finally the fixing material 9 is separated. It fixes to the outer surface 8b of the dressing 8 (FIG.3 (f)), and forms an individual packaging form.
Here, the length folded from both ends in the longitudinal direction is not particularly limited as long as one end and the other end in the longitudinal direction are not separated in the folded state.

Next, the individual packaging method in the napkin 1 of this Embodiment is demonstrated. FIG. 4 shows an individual packaging method of the sanitary napkin 1 to which the individual packaging structure of the present invention is applied.
Generally, the napkin 1 is individually packaged by manufacturing the napkin 1 including the top sheet 2, the back sheet 3, and the absorbent body 4 interposed between the two sheets, and then manufacturing the napkin 1 with the strip-shaped individual material 8. The product is individually packaged through steps such as a folding step, a fixing step, and a cutting step while the napkin 1 is moved by sticking to the upper surface at equal intervals and pulling the strip-shaped individual material 8. That is, the individual packaging material 8 plays not only a role of individually packaging the napkin 1 but also a role of transporting the napkin 1 in the individual packaging process.
However, in the individual packaging structure of the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the individual packaging material 8 is cut in the longitudinal direction in order to fold the napkin 1 and the individual packaging paper 8 in the short direction. The material 8 cannot be used as a conveying means, and cannot be individually packaged in a continuous individual packaging process by the above-described method.
Therefore, the outer sheet 101 is provided on the outer surface 8 b of the individual packaging material 8. If the outer sheet 101 is the outer surface 8b of the individual packaging material 8, the position and width thereof are not limited, and the material may be a non-woven fabric, for example, or a film or the like may be used as appropriate. It doesn't matter.
By providing the outer sheet 101 on the outer surface 8b of the individual packaging material 8, even if the individual packaging material 8 is cut, the outer sheet 101 can be used as a conveying means, and the napkin 1 is conveyed until the final process. The napkin 1 having the individual packaging structure of the present invention can be manufactured without significantly improving the structure of the machine even if the above production line is used. Can be saved.

As described above, according to the individually packaged structure of the napkin 1 according to the first embodiment described above, by folding the longitudinal side edges 8a and 8a of the individually packaged material 8 together with the locking pieces 6a and 6a to the top sheet 2 side, It becomes possible to make the width | variety of a form smaller than the width | variety of the napkin 1, and the compactness of a product can be improved.
Further, since the inner surface of the individual packaging material 8 of the folded portions 12 and 12 and the inner surface of the opposing individual packaging material 8 are temporarily fixed by the four temporary fixing portions 13, there is no need for heat sealing, and at the time of opening In addition, it is possible to suppress the opening sound generated by cleaving the heat seal part, and furthermore, the manufacturing process for performing the heat sealing is not necessary, and the product itself is easy to manufacture, and the manufacturing process Can also reduce the cost.
Further, since the two folded-back portions 12 and 12 are provided apart from each other, the napkin 1 can be exposed from the gap between the two folded-back portions 12 and 12, and the napkin 1 is picked up and taken out and attached in one step. I can do it. That is, not only is it possible to shorten the time until opening, but when opening in one step, not only the whole napkin 1 but the central part is exposed, so that the napkin 1 is exposed at the time of opening. The area is small and can be packaged hygienically.
In addition, by making the length of the individual packaging material 8 shorter than the napkin 1, it becomes possible to reduce the material for the individual packaging material 8, thereby reducing the cost and the amount of dust generated after use. Reduction, reduction of individual packaging thickness and width, etc. can be realized.
Furthermore, the use of non-woven fabric for the individual packaging material 8 can further suppress the generation of sound.
And by providing the outer surface sheet 101 on the outer surface 8b of the individual packaging material 8, it becomes possible to produce the napkin 1 having a new individual packaging structure without greatly improving the current production line. Costs such as improvement costs can be saved.

(Embodiment 2)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 5 is a plan view of a second embodiment of the sanitary napkin to which the individual packaging structure of the present invention is applied, and FIG. 6 is a second embodiment of the sanitary napkin to which the individual packaging structure of the present invention is applied. It is explanatory drawing for demonstrating this individual packaging process.
In the description of the second embodiment of FIG. 5, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations as those of the first embodiment, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
The napkin 200 shown in FIG. 5 is a hip-holding flap (hereinafter referred to as hip-hold) that extends in the width direction to the front side portion 10c of both longitudinal side edges 201b and 201b of the napkin body that hits the wearer's hip when worn. 201a, 201a.
As shown in FIG. 6, the individual packaging material 202 for individually mounting the napkin 200 has a trapezoidal shape in which the length of the upper bottom portion 202 a that is one end portion in the longitudinal direction is different from the length of the lower bottom portion 202 b that is the other end portion in the longitudinal direction. ing.
Next, the individual packaging structure of the napkin 200 will be described.
First, the napkin 200 is arranged on the individual packaging material 202 so that the hip holds 201a, 201a face the lower bottom 202b side (FIG. 6A).
Next, the long side portions of the individual packaging material 202 are folded back inward in the short direction so that the folds are perpendicular to the upper bottom portion 202a and the lower bottom portion 202b (FIG. 6B). At this time, all of the hip holds 201a and 201a protruding from the napkin body are folded back to the top sheet 2 side.
The two folded portions 12 formed by folding the longitudinal side edges 202c and 202c of the individual packaging material 202 inwardly overlap each other in the longitudinal direction, and the inner surface of the folded portion 12 and the other of the folded portions 203 The outer surface 202d of the folded portion 12 is temporarily fixed by hot melt or the like, and further, the folded portion 12 is temporarily fixed at the upper bottom portion 202a in the longitudinal direction of the individual packaging material 202. At this time, the other end portions in the longitudinal direction of the two folded portions 12 are separated from each other. Moreover, the napkin 200 included in the individual packaging material 202 in a state of being folded in the short-side direction (FIG. 6C) has a rectangular shape.

Next, the front part 10c in the longitudinal direction is folded to the top sheet 2 (skin contact surface) side with the individual packaging material 202 and the napkin 200 with a length of about 1/3 of the longitudinal direction (FIG. 6 (d)). Further, the individual packaging material 202 and the napkin 200 are folded inwardly with the length of about 1/3 of the longitudinal rear portion 10a (FIG. 6E), and finally the fixing material 9 is attached to the individual packaging material 202. It fixes to the outer surface 202d and shape | molds an individual packaging form (FIG.6 (f)).
Also in the individual packaging form of the napkin 200 according to the second embodiment described above, the hip holders 201a and 201a that greatly extend outward from the main body of the napkin 200 are exposed by the individual packaging material 202 having a width smaller than the width of the napkin 200. It becomes possible to make them individually.
In other words, according to the individual packaging structure of the napkin 200, it is possible to have three or one bonded portion of the folded portion 12, which not only makes the manufacturing process simpler, but also the product itself. Can be manufactured easily, and the cost for the manufacturing process and the cost for materials can be suppressed.
Furthermore, even the napkin 200 having a large extension portion such as the hip holds 201a and 201a can be compactly packaged.

In this embodiment, hot melt is used to temporarily fix the inner surfaces of the individual packaging materials. However, the hot melt is a pollution-free and energy-saving adhesive material that does not contain any organic solvent or water. However, other known adhesives may be used as the adhesive means relating to the product used for the human body.
In addition to the ones described in the first and second embodiments, the individual packaging structure according to the present invention can be applied to an absorbent article having both a locking piece and a hip hold flap.
