Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bus bar accommodated in an electrical junction box. Specifically, the present invention is intended to improve strength while preventing tabs from dropping when electrical components are connected.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIG. 3, an electrical junction box 1 mounted on an automobile or the like is composed of an upper case 2 and a lower case 3. Inside the case of the electrical junction box 1, a bus bar 4 and a resin constituting an internal circuit are provided. Insulating plates 5 molded from the like are accommodated in a stacked state.
[0003]
Each of the bus bars 4 has a tab 4a formed by bending the tip portion vertically upward and downward. On the other hand, the insulating plate 5 is provided with a bus bar groove for arranging the bus bar 4 and a tab hole for insertion of the tab 4a. Then, the bus bar 4 is disposed at a required position of the insulating plate 5, the insulating plate 5 and the bus bar 4 are laminated so that the tab 4a is inserted into the tab hole, and the tab 4a protruding from the upper and lower surfaces of the insulating plate 5 is upper. The case 2 and the lower case 3 are inserted into the electrical component mounting portion 6. An electrical component 6a such as a fuse, a relay, or a connector is mounted on the electrical component mounting portion 6 so that a terminal provided on the electrical component 6a and the tab 4a can be connected.
[0004]
Incidentally, there is a slight gap X between the laminated insulating plates 5 and the bus bar 4 as shown in FIG. For this reason, when the electrical component 6a is connected to the tab 4a erected vertically from the arrow direction, the tab 4a falls in the arrow direction, and there is a problem that the connection with the electrical component 6a becomes insufficient.
Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 4B and 4C, the embossing 7 for supporting the bottom surface of the bus bar 4 is provided in the vicinity of the portion where the tab 4a is erected so as to protrude from the electrical component 6a. The tab 4a is prevented from dropping when being mounted. Incidentally, as described above, there is one described in Patent Document 1 in which the vicinity of the tab is supported on the bottom surface of the bus bar by the convex portion protruding from the insulating plate.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-10-12121 [0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in order to prevent the tab 4a from dropping, the circuit is often concentrated in the vicinity of the tab 4a where the emboss 7 is to be provided on the insulating plate 5 as described above. Therefore, in the vicinity of the tab 4a, FIG. ), The width of the bus bar 4 may be inevitably reduced. In particular, when the width of the bus bar 4 is reduced, the strength of the bus bar 4 becomes insufficient, and even if the vicinity of the tab 4a is supported by the emboss 7, the bus bar 4 is deformed when the electric component 6a is connected to the tab 4a, and the tab 4a is electrically connected. There is a possibility that the connection with the terminal of the component 6a may be hindered. In addition, when the width of the bus bar 4 is not narrow, it is difficult to reliably prevent the bus bar from dropping with only the embossing protruding from the insulating plate.
[0007]
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a bus bar that can prevent the tab from dropping when an electrical component is connected to the tab while improving the strength of the bus bar near the tab.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is provided with a tab punched from a conductive metal plate and refracted from a horizontal substrate portion at an end thereof, and the horizontal substrate portion is disposed in a gap between the upper and lower insulating plates, A bus bar housed in an electrical junction box,
A horizontal substrate portion formed in the vicinity of the tab is provided with a bead portion bent in a concave shape on the side opposite to the tab protruding side, and the bottom surface of the bead portion is brought into close contact with the insulating plate on the other side and the horizontal substrate portion Is provided in close contact with the insulating plate on one side so that the tab can be positioned and held at the fitting position with the mating terminal.
[0009]
According to the above configuration, the bead portion is provided in the horizontal substrate portion in the vicinity of the tab of the bus bar and is reinforced by the bead portion, so that the bus bar can be prevented from being deformed by the pressing force when the electric component is connected to the tab. . In addition, since the bead portion is in close contact with the insulating plate on the other side, the pressing force acting on the horizontal substrate portion side when the electrical component is connected to the tab can be received by the insulating plate via the bead portion. The tab can be prevented from falling.
In addition, you may comprise the insulating plate which receives the bus bar of the lowest step from the support plate provided in the lower case.
[0010]
More specifically, the bead portion is preferably provided within a range of 2 to 4 mm from the refractive position of the tab. In this way, by setting the bead portion near the bent position of the tab, the force acting from the tip end of the tab to the base side when the electrical component is mounted can reach the bead portion that serves as a fulcrum for receiving the force. Since the distance can be further reduced, the bus bar can be effectively prevented from being deformed between the bending point and the bead portion.
[0011]
When the bead part is provided in the narrow part of the horizontal substrate part in the vicinity of the tab, it is possible to particularly reinforce the narrow part that is insufficient in strength, and to reliably prevent the tab from dropping when the electric component is mounted.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the bus bar 11 accommodated in the electrical junction box is formed by punching a conductive metal plate to form a required conductive path. A narrow portion 12a in which the width of the horizontal substrate portion 12 is set narrow is formed at the end portion of the bus bar 11, and the end portion of the narrow portion 12a is bent in the vertical direction for connection with a counterpart component. A tab 13 is formed. The narrow portion 12a is set to avoid interference between circuits of the bus bar 11 densely adjacent to the tab 13, and has a lower strength than the horizontal substrate portion 12 having a normal width. For this reason, in this embodiment, the bead part 14 is provided in the narrow part 12a.
[0013]
The bead portion 14 has a narrow portion 12a formed in a concave shape along the length direction of the bus bar 11 on the side opposite to the protruding side of the tab 13 and bent. The bead portion 14 is formed by punching with a mold during the process of punching the bus bar 11 and bending the tab 13. In the present embodiment, the distance L1 from the bent position 13a of the tab 13 to the start position of the bead portion 14 is provided within a range of 2 to 4 mm, and the bent position 13a of the tab 13 is applied by the pressing force acting on the tab 13. The bead portion 14 is provided at a position close to the bending position 13a so that the region from the bead portion 14 to the bead portion 14 is not deformed.
[0014]
Further, as shown in FIG. 2A, the launch dimension L2 of the bead portion 14 is such that when the bus bar 11 is disposed between the laminated insulating plates 15, the bottom surface 14a of the bead portion 14 is the lower insulating plate 15. The size is set to a size corresponding to the gap X between the upper and lower insulating plates 15 on which the bus bars 11 are arranged, with the upper surface being in close contact with the opposing surface of the upper insulating plate 15. In this way, the bus bar 11 is positioned and held between the upper and lower insulating plates 15 via the bead portion 14.
[0015]
Next, the operation of the bus bar will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 2 (A) and 2 (B), the bus bar 11 disposed between the insulating plates 15 stacked in the electrical junction box 10 has an insulating plate 15 adjacent to a tab 13 bent at the end. Is introduced into the electrical component housing portion 16 through the through hole 15a, and is positioned and held at the fitting position with the terminal 17a of the counterpart electrical component 17. Then, an electrical component 17 such as a fuse, a relay, or a connector is mounted in the electrical component housing portion 16, and a terminal 17 a of the electrical component 17 is inserted into the tab 13 to be electrically connected. At this time, since the pressing force in the insertion direction of the electrical component 17 is applied to the tab 13, the tab 13 is pressed in the direction of the arrow in the drawing and tends to fall into the gap X. However, since the bottom surface 14a of the bead portion 14 provided in the narrow width portion 12a in the vicinity of the tab 13 is in contact with the upper surface of the lower insulating plate 15, the tab 13 is prevented from falling by being supported by the bead portion 14. The Further, the strength of the narrow portion 12 a can be improved by the reinforcing action of the bead portion 14.
[0016]
When the tab 13 is connected to a female terminal of an electrical component, the tab 13 may have a tuning fork shape that accepts a male tab on the other side and can be pressure-contacted in addition to a common flat plate shape. Moreover, although the bead part 14 showed the continuous thing extended in the length direction of the bus-bar 11, the discontinuous shape which consists of a some protrusion-like thing may be sufficient. Furthermore, the insulating plate 15 on which the bus bar 11 is arranged may be a support plate integrally projecting from the lower case in the lowermost stage, and is not limited to a separate one.
[0017]
In the above embodiment, the bead portion is provided in the horizontal substrate portion in the narrow portion near the tab. However, the bead portion is not limited to the narrow portion, and if the bead portion is provided even when the horizontal substrate portion is wide, It is possible to reliably prevent the tab from dropping when the parts are mounted.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, according to the bus bar according to the present invention, the bead portion provided in the horizontal substrate portion in the vicinity of the tab closely contacts the insulating plate when the bus bar is assembled. Can be supported, and the tab can be prevented from falling. Therefore, there is no possibility that the contact between the tab and the counterpart terminal will be hindered.
[0019]
In particular, when the tab protrudes from the tip of the horizontal substrate portion of the narrow width portion, providing the bead portion in the narrow width portion reinforces the narrow width portion where the strength is reduced. It is possible to prevent the tab from dropping when the electrical component is mounted.
