Abstract
【解決手段】モバイル端末は、チャネルのRF条件に関連する、モバイル端末によって測定された少なくとも1つのメトリックに応じて、リバース共通信号チャネルの伝送速度を選択する。モバイル端末に、少なくとも1つの閾値レベルの形を取る情報が提供され、モバイル端末が送信すべき速度を決定するため、この閾値レベルと、測定された1つまたは複数のメトリックが比較される。

Claims (10)
- モバイル端末(104)が基地局(101)と通信する無線通信システム(100)で使用するための方法であって、
測定された少なくとも1つのチャネル関連メトリックに基づいて、モバイル端末から基地局へのリバース共通信号チャネルの伝送速度を選択する工程を特徴とする方法。 - チャネル関連メトリックが、モバイル端末によって測定されるパイロット信号強度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- チャネル関連メトリックが、モバイル端末によって測定される電力スペクトル密度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 伝送速度が、モバイル端末によって測定されるパイロット信号強度と電力スペクトル密度の両方のチャネル関連メトリックに基づいて選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 伝送速度が、基地局によってサポートされる複数の可能な伝送速度のうちから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- モバイル端末(104)が基地局(101)と通信する無線通信システム(100)で使用するための方法であって、
モバイル端末によって測定された少なくとも1つのチャネル関連メトリックに基づいて、リバース共通信号チャネルの伝送速度をモバイル端末が選択できるようにする情報を送信する工程を特徴とする方法。 - 前記情報が、測定されたチャネル関連メトリックを関連する閾値レベルと比較することによって、基地局がリバース共通信号チャネル上でサポートする複数の可能な伝送速度のうちから伝送速度を選択する際に、モバイル端末が使用するためのチャネル関連メトリックに関連する少なくとも1つの閾値レベルを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- チャネル関連メトリックが、モバイル端末によって測定されるパイロット信号強度であり、関連する閾値レベルが、少なくとも1つのパイロット信号強度閾値レベルである、請求項6に記載の方法。
- チャネル関連メトリックが、モバイル端末によって測定される電力スペクトル密度であり、関連する閾値レベルが、少なくとも1つの電力スペクトル密度閾値レベルである、請求項6に記載の方法。
- チャネル関連メトリックが、共にモバイル端末によって測定される、パイロット信号強度でも電力スペクトル密度でもあり、関連する閾値レベルが、少なくとも1つのパイロット信号強度閾値レベル、および少なくとも1つの電力スペクトル密度閾値レベルである、請求項6に記載の方法。
