Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a purification device using a photocatalyst, and more particularly, to a purification device having excellent removal efficiency of harmful pollutants such as odor components.
。 Conventionally, a cleaning device that decomposes and removes bad odors and harmful pollutants in the air using a photocatalyst such as titanium dioxide, is supported on the substrate surface as a thin film of photocatalyst and irradiated with ultraviolet rays There is one in which a high oxidizing power generated by exciting a photocatalyst is used for decomposition of an organic compound or the like (for example, see Patent Document 1).
FIG. 11 shows an air cleaning device disclosed in
However, the conventional cleaning device using a photocatalyst has the following problems.
(1) When a high concentration of harmful pollutants is sent to the container together with air, the deodorizing particle adsorption capacity will be exceeded, and the problem of toxic agitation will not be able to be completely removed and stirring will spread. is there.
(2) If the container is filled with deodorized particles at a high density in order to enhance the adsorptivity of harmful pollutants, light will not reach the photocatalyst and the photocatalyst will not be sufficiently excited, so air containing harmful pollutants downstream of the container May be discharged.
(3) Since the adsorptivity varies depending on the state of the air containing harmful pollutants, the deodorized particles are covered with a thin water film if the air to be purified is hot and humid. Degradability of the substance may be significantly reduced.
Accordingly, the first object of the present invention is to provide a purification device that can efficiently adsorb, adsorb, and decompose harmful pollutants in the photocatalyst part and that does not spread and stir downstream of the photocatalyst part. .
The second object of the present invention is to provide a purification device that exhibits excellent adsorptive decomposability even for high-temperature and high-humidity purification targets.
In order to achieve the first object, the present invention provides a purifying apparatus for decomposing and removing harmful pollutants using a photocatalyst, a photocatalyst portion comprising a layer of photocatalyst particles holding the photocatalyst on a granular substrate, There is provided a purification device comprising a light source that is provided in a photocatalyst section and that emits light that excites the photocatalyst.
In order to achieve the above first object, the present invention provides a photocatalyst in which a photocatalyst is used to decompose and remove harmful pollutants and the photocatalyst is held on a granular light-transmitting substrate made of a porous material. There is provided a purification device comprising: a photocatalyst portion formed of a layer of particles; and a light source that is provided in the photocatalyst portion and emits light that excites the photocatalyst.
In order to achieve the second object, the present invention provides a purification apparatus for decomposing and removing harmful pollutants using a photocatalyst, and a photocatalyst section comprising a layer of photocatalyst particles holding the photocatalyst on a granular substrate; The present invention provides a purification apparatus comprising: a light source that is provided in the photocatalyst unit and irradiates light that excites the photocatalyst; and a cooling unit that cools and dehumidifies a medium to be purified introduced into the photocatalyst unit. .
According to the purification apparatus of the present invention, since the light source is provided in the photocatalyst portion composed of a layer of photocatalyst particles having light permeability using the porous body as a base, the light irradiation property to the photocatalyst particles is improved and the photocatalyst portion is Harmful pollutants can be adsorbed efficiently, decomposed and removed, and no agitation spreads downstream of the photocatalyst.
In addition, according to the purification device of the present invention, the medium to be purified introduced into the photocatalyst unit is cooled and dehumidified, so that the photocatalyst particles are kept in a dry state and the adsorption of harmful pollutants is prevented. It exhibits excellent adsorptive decomposability even for high-temperature and high-humidity purification targets.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
Note that “purification” described in the following description includes the meanings of sterilization, sterilization, antibacterial, and deodorization.
1 and FIG. 2 are purification apparatuses according to the first embodiment, FIG. 1 is a plan view, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the purification apparatus in the AA section of FIG.
The
The
The
The base portion 2 has an air intake hole 2A for introducing air W from the outside, and accommodates the wiring 32 of the
The photocatalyst part 3 is formed by providing a layer of photocatalyst particles holding titanium dioxide on a
The photocatalyst unit 3 has an intake pipe 31 for introducing air W into the
The operation of the first embodiment will be described below.
First, the
Next, the light source 30 (not shown) connected to the
Next, the air W as the medium to be purified is passed through the photocatalyst unit 3. Hazardous contaminants contained in the air W are adsorbed by the porous portion of the silica gel. The air W from which harmful pollutants have been separated passes through the photocatalyst portion 3 and is discharged from the exhaust hole 1A to the outside of the
According to the first embodiment described above, since the plurality of
In the first embodiment, a configuration in which a plurality of holes having a small diameter are provided as the exhaust holes 1A and the pores 2A has been described.
The

The main body upper portion 1C accommodates the
The main body lower part 1D has an intake port 1E for introducing the air W into the photocatalyst unit 3 and a
The photocatalyst unit 3 is configured by arranging a plurality of
According to the above-described third embodiment, the
FIG. 9 is a partial cross-sectional view of the purification device according to the fourth embodiment.

The

When the photocatalytic function of the
The
The
The operation of the fifth embodiment will be described below.
The air W introduced from the air inlet 1E is dehumidified and dehumidified by passing through the evaporator 22 after dust and the like are removed by the prefilter 4A. The cooled and dehumidified air W is introduced into the photocatalyst unit 3 through the
According to the fifth embodiment described above, in addition to the preferable effects of the first embodiment, the photocatalyst unit 3 can be easily taken out from the detachable exhaust unit 1B. When the function of the

Technical ideas other than those described in the claims that can be grasped from the above-described embodiments will be described below together with the effects thereof.
(1) A plurality of light sources and bead-like porous photocatalyst particles are accommodated in the same container in layers and arranged in the flow path of the medium to be purified. As a result, the harmful contaminants are captured by the photocatalyst particles only once through the medium to be purified, and can be decomposed and removed based on the photocatalytic action.
(2) The photocatalyst particles of the bead-shaped porous material described in (1) are characterized by having light permeability. As a result, even if the photocatalyst particles are provided in a layered manner, the light from the light source is uniformly irradiated to the entire photocatalyst particles, and the photocatalytic action can be promoted.
(3) The photocatalyst particles of the bead-shaped porous material described in (1) are made of silica gel. As a result, harmful pollutants contained in the medium to be purified are efficiently captured in the porous portion of the silica gel and can be decomposed and removed based on the photocatalytic action.
(4) The light source described in (1) is an LED light source that emits ultraviolet rays. As a result, the size of the light source can be reduced, and stable light irradiation properties can be imparted over a long period of time.
