従来の電力変換装置において、変換部出力の過電流又は過電圧を検知することにより、容量低下発生時の保護を行うようにしているが、容量の低下量が大きく、かつ過電圧の場合には、負荷側への影響が懸念される、という問題があった。

本発明の目的は、交流フィルタコンデンサの容量低下量が少ない段階で容量低下を検知することが可能な電力変換装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明は、直流電源に直列に第1,第2のフィルタコンデンサが接続され、該第1,第2のフィルタコンデンサそれぞれに第1,第2の変換器の直流側が接続され、前記第1,第2の変換器の交流側それぞれに第1,第2の交流リアクトルが接続され、前記第1,第2の交流リアクトルの出力それぞれに第1,第2の交流フィルタコンデンサ及びトランスの第1,第2の一次巻線が接続され、前記トランスの二次巻線に開閉手段を介して交流負荷が接続される電力変換器において、
前記第1の交流コンデンサのU相配線を2ターン、前記第2の交流コンデンサのU相配線を前記第1の交流コンデンサの配線とは逆方向へ1ターンそれぞれ貫通させた第1の変流器と、
