Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a technique for generating sound based on character data indicating characters.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, vehicles have begun to be equipped with not only car audio devices and car navigation devices, but also communication terminals capable of sending and receiving e-mails. In such a communication terminal mounted on a vehicle as described above, from the viewpoint of safety, attention has been paid to a technique of reading a sentence so that the content of a received electronic mail can be known even during driving.
[0003]
Various techniques have been developed as a technique for reading a sentence. As an example of this technique, for example, there is a technique for changing a reading method when reading a sentence in accordance with a sender of an e-mail (for example, patent literature). 1, see Patent Document 2). For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-228867 has a technique for identifying a gender of an e-mail sender based on gender information stored in an address book of a device that has received an e-mail and reading a sentence in a male or female voice. Are listed. Further, in Patent Document 2, gender information set by the sender of the e-mail is added to the e-mail, and in the e-mail apparatus, a sentence is written in a male or female voice based on the added gender information. The technology to read is described.
[0004]
The voice when an electronic device such as a communication terminal reads a sentence is generally always the same voice quality and speaking speed, and there are many things that are monotonous and poorly expressed. Sentences can be read out by voice reflecting the sender's attributes (gender, age, address, etc.), and more natural reading of sentences can be made.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2002-108378 A [Patent Document 2]
JP 2000-122941 A [0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
According to the techniques described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, it is possible to read a sentence in a voice reflecting the attributes (gender, age, address, etc.) of the sender of the e-mail. Reading out is possible. However, the techniques described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 have the following problems.
[0007]
In the technique described in Patent Document 1, when information related to an e-mail sender is not registered in the address book, gender information of the e-mail sender cannot be extracted, and the text is read out. There is a problem that voice quality at the time cannot be determined.
[0008]
In the technique described in Patent Document 2, an e-mail sender must perform a complicated operation of setting information to be added to an e-mail every time an e-mail is transmitted. Patent Document 2 also describes a technique that eliminates such a complicated work by setting information to be added to an e-mail in advance before sending the e-mail. However, the information is set in advance. For this purpose, for example, a complicated operation of operating the communication terminal according to the menu and setting information is eventually necessary.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and provides a technique capable of changing a reading method when a communication terminal reads a sentence without bothering the sender or receiver of the sentence. The purpose is to do.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a storage device that stores address data that uniquely identifies a user of a communication network and attribute data that indicates an attribute of the person who is given the address data in association with each other. Receiving means for receiving character data, source data indicating the address data and a source of the character data, and destination data indicating the address data and a destination of the character data; and the receiving means Acquisition means for acquiring attribute data stored in association with the same address data as the transmission source data received from the storage device, character data received by the reception means, attribute data acquired by the acquisition means, Server device having a transmission means for transmitting to a communication terminal used by a person specified by the destination data received by the reception means, and the transmission means Data receiving means for receiving the received character data and attribute data; and determining means for determining how to read out the character indicated by the character data received by the data receiving means based on the attribute data received by the data receiving means; There is provided a communication system including a communication terminal having a voice generation unit that reads out a character indicated by character data received by the data receiving unit based on a reading method determined by the determining unit.
[0011]
According to this communication system, when the server device receives the character data, the attribute data relating to the character data sender is acquired from the storage device, and the character data and the attribute data relating to the character data sender are transmitted to the communication terminal. Is done. The communication terminal receives the character data and the attribute data, and reads out the character data based on the character data and the attribute data.
