このように従来の携帯電話装置(情報端末)では、単にタッチパッドに対するスライド操作に応じて、表示画面をスクロールさせるにすぎなかった。すなわち、拡張性に乏しく、誤操作を防止するだけで操作性の向上を図ることが困難となっていた。

以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態について説明する。
図1は本実施形態に係わる情報端末のシステム構成を示すブロック図である。本実施形態における情報端末は、例えば半導体メモリ、CD−ROM、DVD、磁気ディスク等の記録媒体に記録されたプログラムを読み込み、このプログラムによって動作が制御されるコンピュータによって実現される。
