Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas turbine in which an intermediate shaft connecting a compressor rotor and a turbine rotor is supported by a bearing, and a cooling air introduction method thereof.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a gas turbine, generally, compressed air from a compressor is guided to a turbine rotor and used as cooling air for a turbine wheel or a turbine rotor blade. This cooling air may be introduced into the turbine rotor through, for example, a center hole of an intermediate shaft that connects the compressor rotor and the turbine rotor. However, since the compressed air discharged from the compressor has a high temperature (for example, about 400 ° C.), if the compressed air is passed through the intermediate shaft, the metal temperature of the intermediate shaft rises. As a result, when the intermediate shaft is supported by the bearing, the metal temperature of the bearing rises, and there is a possibility that the bearing may be damaged due to, for example, deterioration of the lubricating oil due to the oil temperature rise.
[0003]
On the other hand, as a technology for suppressing the bearing temperature rise of the intermediate shaft, by providing a heat insulation sleeve in the center hole of the intermediate shaft, the heat transfer from the compressed air flowing to the intermediate shaft is mitigated and the temperature rise of the bearing is suppressed. There are some (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent No. 2768789 [0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even if the heat insulating sleeve is provided in the intermediate shaft, the heat insulating sleeve itself may be damaged by thermal stress or the like, and it is difficult to completely suppress the temperature rise of the bearing. Failure of the insulation sleeve induces metal melting and damage of the bearing due to temperature rise, and in severe cases, damage to the gas turbine rotor due to increased shaft vibration during operation.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine and a cooling air introduction method capable of suppressing an increase in the bearing temperature of the intermediate shaft and improving the reliability of the gas turbine rotor. It is in.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a gas turbine having an intermediate shaft that connects a compressor rotor and a turbine rotor, a bearing that receives the intermediate shaft, and a bearing box that surrounds the bearing. Compression from the compressor into the wheel space inside the turbine rotor and upstream of the turbine first stage wheel via the first and second paths separated from each other by a seal at the downstream position of the box, respectively, through the outside of the bearing box. Introduce air.

Here, generally, the cooling air introduced into the turbine rotor via the center hole of the turbine first stage wheel is required to have a higher pressure than the cooling air that cools the upstream side surface of the turbine first stage wheel. In view of energy efficiency, it is desirable to guide compressed air having an appropriate pressure in place. In this aspect, a path of cooling air introduced into the turbine rotor is a path of cooling air that leads to the upstream side surface of the turbine first stage wheel. It is desirable to divide.

In general, in a gas turbine, the turbine side has a higher pressure than the compressor side, and the pressure area of the turbine rotor is often larger than the compressor rotor. Thrust force acts on the upstream side.
