Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article having a function of making a visual change before and after urination and the like easily understandable to a viewer and informing the time of replacement with certainty.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
So far, various disposable diapers having a function of notifying the time of replacement when wetted by urination or the like have been proposed. For example, a diaper containing a pH indicator that changes color when urine reaches the surface opposite to the wearer contact surface of the absorbent core is known (see Patent Documents 1 to 3). Moreover, a diaper containing an agent that changes color when wet is known (see Patent Document 4).
[0003]
However, both techniques have a problem that the degree of discoloration is difficult to clearly recognize from the outside. This is because the agent that changes color is hydrophilic, and when urine is sensed, the agent dissolves in the urine to cause bleeding and the color is blurred. Moreover, since it is preferable to dispose an agent that changes color as close as possible to the absorbent core in order to sense urine, when the agent is absorbed and diffused in the absorbent core, the color becomes more difficult to be recognized from the outside. . In addition, since various patterns and the like are usually arranged on the diaper, the discolored part is often arranged small so as not to impair the overall appearance of the diaper. In such a case, the above phenomenon occurs. Then, discoloration is more difficult to be recognized from the outside.

Next, the changing agent included in the variable pattern in the present invention will be described. The change agent is a hydrophilic composition containing a substance that changes visually upon contact with moisture (hereinafter referred to as a discoloration substance). Examples of the color changing substance include a pH indicator. For example, a known ink or indicator can be used. When the absorbent article is a disposable diaper as in this embodiment, it is preferable to use a pH indicator whose color changes before and after contact with urine. For example, bromophenol blue, methyl orange, alizan S, bromocresol green, methyl red, bromocresol purple, resazurin and the like that change color at pH 3-7 are preferred.
