Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which allows an attaching angle of a display unit to be adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: A holding member 20 holds the display unit 10. A support member 30 supports the holding member 20. The holding member 20 can hold the display unit 10 selectively by one of the front surface side and the rear surface side and has angle adjustment parts 21e and 21f which adjust the holding angle of the display unit 10 within a prescribed range. The angle adjustment parts are arcuate hole parts pierced by a fixing member 60 which fixes the holding member 20 to the support member 30. 従来より、ヘッドアップディスプレイ装置が種々提案されており、例えば特許文献1に開示されている。斯かるヘッドアップディスプレイ装置は、車両のダッシュボード1に取付けられた表示器2が発した表示光Lを、車両のフロントガラス3(または、コンバイナと称される反射部材)で反射させ、虚像Vを表示するものである(図9参照)。運転者4は、虚像Vを前方の風景と重畳させて視認することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、ダッシュボード1の表面形状は車種によって様々であり、そのために運転者4の前方付近に位置するダッシュボード1の表面形状が表示器2の取付けに適していない場合がある。つまり、運転者4の前方に位置するダッシュボード1の表面形状が平坦でない場合、虚像Vが傾いた状態で表示されるという問題を有していた。
本発明は、この問題に鑑みなされたものであり、表示器の取付け角度を調整することができる表示装置を提供するものである。

以下、添付の図面に基づいて、本発明の実施形態を説明する。図1乃至図6は、第一実施形態を示すものである。なお、表示器10は、車両のフロントガラスに表示光を投射するため、表示器10を寝かせて前面10aを略真上に向けて配設されるものであるが、理解を助けるため、図2,図4及び図5においては、表示器10を起こして前面10aが前方を向いた状態にて図示している。

表示装置は、表示器10,保持部材20,支持部材30,ボルト40及びナット50等から構成されている。表示器10は、蛍光表示管または有機ELパネル等の表示素子をケース体に収容したものであり、保持部材20の基部21に保持されている。表示器10が発した表示光は、車両のフロントガラスに投射され、虚像が表示される。

保持部材20は、基部21及びこの基部21に一体形成された連結部22,23,24からなっている。基部21の前面側には、円形状のリブ部21aと、直線形状のリブ部21cとが形成されている(図3(a)参照)。保持部材20は、前後方向に対称な形状になっており、基部21の後面側には、前面側と同様に、円形状のリブ部21bと、直線形状のリブ部21dとが形成されている(図3(b)参照)。

直線形状のリブ部21c,21dは、円形状のリブ部21a,21bの直径に相当する箇所に形成されており、斜め45°の角度で設けられている。円形状のリブ部21a,21bは、直線形状のリブ部21c,21dよりも若干高くなっている。保持部材20の基部21には、所定幅を有する円弧状の2個の孔部21e,21f(角度調整部)が形成されている。孔部21e,21fの前記所定幅は、表示器10を保持部材20に保持させるためのボルト60(固定部材)のネジ部の直径に略等しくなっている。孔部21e,21fは、直線形状のリブ部21c,21dに対して対称な位置に形成されている。表示器10は、座金61を介して、ボルト60によって保持されている。
