本発明は、消臭溶液をミスト化して放出する消臭装置に関する。
【従来の技術】
近年、消臭溶液のミスト(霧状に広がる数十μm以下の液滴)を発生させて消臭を行う、各種の消臭装置が提案され、製品化されている。例えば、下記特許文献1には、超音波発振器を使用して、消臭溶液を超音波振動させてミスト化し、ファンによって発生する気流に乗せて、ミストを装置外部に排出し、室内の消臭を行うと同時に、埃を吸着して除去する方法及び装置が開示されている。また、清涼感を与えるために、ミストが消臭溶液の液面から発生し、気流に乗って装置内部を流れる様子を、装置外部から目視できるようになっている消臭装置も知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、消臭溶液の液面からのミスト発生状態を目視できる消臭装置では、消臭溶液に含まれている油脂成分によって液面に発生する白い泡も同時に目視されてしまい、見る人によっては、不清潔な印象を与えてしまう問題があった。この消臭溶液の液面に発生する白い泡は、消臭装置を停止させた後も、しばらくの間液面に残るので、より一層不清潔で、不快な印象を与えることとなっていた。
また、一旦埃を吸着したミストは室内の床などに落下するが、埃を吸着した液体が気化した後には埃だけが残り、消臭装置や人の動きによって発生する気流によって、再び埃が室内に舞い上がることになってしまう問題があった。
上記の課題を解決するために、本発明は、装置外部から、消臭溶液の液面に発生する白い泡が目視されることなく、流れを制御したミストが目視されるようにした、見る人に清涼感を与えることができ、空気清浄化機能を持った消臭装置を提供することを目的とする。
【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の目的は、以下の手段によって達成される。
即ち、本発明に係る消臭装置(1)は、超音波発振器によって消臭溶液をミスト化して排出する消臭装置であって、底面の一部が前記超音波発振器の振動子で形成され、側壁が可視光を透過しない材質で形成され、前記側壁にミストを排出するミスト排出口を装備した、前記消臭溶液を収容するミストボクスと、前記ミストを前記消臭装置外部に排出する排気口と、前記消臭装置外部から空気を吸入する吸気口と、略鉛直方向に延伸する延伸部を装備し、前記吸入される空気及び前記ミスト排出口から排出される前記ミストを前記排気口まで導くガイドと、該ガイド内に配置されたフィルタと、前記ミスト及び前記吸入される空気を前記ガイドに沿って移動させる気流を発生させるファンと、前記消臭装置外部から前記ミストボックスを目視可能な位置に配置された、可視光を透過する窓部材とを備え、前記ミスト排出口が、前記消臭装置外部から前記ミストボックス内部の前記消臭溶液の液面を目視することが困難な形状であり、前記液面から所定の距離だけ離れて配置され、前記ミストが、前記延伸部の上部から前記延伸部に流入し、前記ファンによって発生する前記気流によって前記延伸部中を下方に移動し、前記ミスト及び前記吸入される空気が、前記フィルタを通過した後に、前記排気口から排出されることを特徴としている。
また、本発明に係る消臭装置(2)は、上記消臭装置(1)において、前記延伸部の下端部が、前記吸気口の近傍に配置され、前記フィルタが、前記吸気口及び前記延伸部の前記下端部の近傍に、前記延伸部内を前記ミストが流れる方向及び前記吸入される空気が流れる方向に傾斜して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に特徴としている。
また、本発明に係る消臭装置(3)は、上記消臭装置(1)又は(2)において、前記ミストボックスが、前記消臭溶液を前記ミストボックス内に導入する導入管と、前記消臭溶液の前記液面上方に配置された傾斜壁面と、仕切手段とをさらに備え、前記仕切手段が、前記消臭溶液に部分的に浸漬され、前記振動子と前記導入管との間に配置され、前記傾斜壁面が、前記傾斜壁面と前記液面との距離が、前記ミスト排出口近傍において最大となるように傾斜して配置され、前記振動子が、前記仕切手段及び前記ミスト排出口の間の略中央に配置されていることを特徴としている。
また、本発明に係る消臭装置(4)は、上記消臭装置(1)〜(3)の何れかにおいて、前記ダクト内に、前記フィルタを挟んで前記フィルタの両側に第1及び第2の湿度センサを備え、動作停止の指示を受けた場合、前記超音波発振器を停止した後、前記第1の湿度センサの出力信号と前記第2の湿度センサの出力信号との差が所定値以下であれば、前記ファンの回転を停止することを特徴としている。
また、本発明に係る消臭装置(5)は、上記消臭装置(1)〜(4)の何れかにおいて、前記窓部材が、凸レンズとして機能する形状であることを特徴としている。
【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に係る実施の形態を、添付した図面に基づいて説明する。
図1、2は、それぞれ本発明の実施の形態に係る消臭装置を示す斜視図および縦断面図である。本実施の形態に係る消臭装置は、ハウジング1と、可視光を透過する(以下、透明と記す)レンズ窓2と、外部の空気を吸気する吸気口3と、発生したミストを含む空気を排出する排気口4と、超音波発振器5と、ミスト化する消臭溶液を収容するミストボックス6と、発生したミストを導くダクト7と、フィルタ部8と、第1及び第2湿度センサ9a、9bと、ファン10と、消臭溶液を貯蔵するリザーブタンク11、ミストボックス6とリザーブタンク11とを連結する連結管12と、モータ13(図3参照)と、制御部及び電源部(何れも図示せず)とを備えている。図2には、ミストボックス6に収容された消臭溶液Lが示されている。消臭溶液には、例えば、消臭成分として複数種類の植物エキスを混合した溶液を使用する。
レンズ窓2は、透明な材質を使用して、水平断面の長手方向の中央部が突出した、片凸レンズ形状に形成されている。

フィルタ部8は、図2に示したように、ダクト前方部7aとダクト中央部7bとの接合部付近に、ダクト中央部7bを塞ぐように、ダクト前方部7aの長手方向(鉛直方向)及びダクト中央部7bの長手方向(水平方向)の何れに対しても傾斜して配置されている。傾斜角度θは、例えば約45度である。フィルタ部8のフィルタ本体(図示せず)には、例えばポリ塩化ビニリデン系合成繊維などで形成される不織布を使用する。
図3は、図2におけるIII−III線に沿ったダクト7の断面図である。図3には、ファン10、モータ13、及びファン10の回転によって生じる空気の流れ(矢印)を示している。ファン10は、円筒形状に複数の羽根(図示せず)が配置され、円筒軸の周りに回転可能なシロッコファンであり、制御部によって制御されるモータ13によって回転する。図3から分かるように、ダクト後方部7cを上昇した空気の流れは、ファン10の開放端10aからファン10内部に流入し、ファン10の円筒形状に配置された羽根の回転によって、羽根の間を通過して、排気口4から排出される。
図4は、ミストボックス6の内部構造を示す図であり、(a)は上側平面図、(b)は正面図、(c)は(a)の正面図に示したIV−IV線に沿った右側縦断面図である。ミストボックス6は、ミスト排出口61、傾斜面62、仕切板63、リザーブタンク(図示せず)から消臭溶液をミストボックス6内に導く導入管64、蓋65を備えて構成されている。図4には、ミストボックス6の底部の開口部に周囲が密着して配置されている、超音波発振器5の振動子51を示している。
ミストボックス6の周囲の壁面は透明な材質で形成されている。また、ミスト排出口61は、ミストボックス6内部の消臭溶液Lの液面Sを、消臭装置外部から目視することが困難なように、開口の高さh及び液面Sからの距離dが設計されている。これによって、消臭装置外部からミストボックス6内部の消臭溶液Lの液面Sを目視することが困難となり、ミスト発生によって消臭溶液Lの液面Sに発生する白い泡が目視されることを防止する。
例えば、液面Sとミストボックス6の底面との距離を液面Sからの距離dと略等しくし、hが約5mm、dが約30mmとすることができる。
傾斜面62は、ミストボックス6の前方から後方にかけて、消臭溶液Lの液面Sに近づくように傾斜している。傾斜面62の傾斜によって、ミスト発生時に液面Sからの飛沫が傾斜面62に付着した場合に、付着した消臭溶液をミストボックス6の後方に速やかに移動させ、仕切板63の表面を介して液面Sに流し落とすことができる。また、図4の(b)に示したように、ミスト排出口61は開口の高さhが低く、液面Sから所定の距離dだけ離れていることから、発生した飛沫がミスト排出口61からダクト7内部に入ることを防止できる。
仕切板63は、液面Sに発生する泡が導入管64の下端から流入するのを防止することを目的とする。ここで、振動子51は、導入管64が配置されている側の液面、即ち仕切板63とミストボックス6の後方内壁67との間の液面における泡の発生を軽減させるために、ミストボックス6の前方内壁66と仕切板63との間のほぼ中央に配置する。そして、前方内壁66と仕切板63との間の液面Sに発生する泡は、仕切板63によって導波管64の側に侵入しないように遮られる。さらに、仕切板63は、導入管64から導入される消臭溶液Lがミストボックス6全体に行き渡るように、ミストボックス7の底面との間に所定の距離をおいて配置されている。
図2に示したように、リザーブタンク11と導入管64とは連結管12で接続され、これらは、導入管64の下端部以外では密閉されている。従って、ミストボックス6に消臭溶液Lが収容されていない状態では、リザーブタンク11からミストボックス6内に導入管64を通って消臭溶液Lが流入する。消臭溶液Lの液面Sが上昇して導入管64の下端部の開口を塞ぐと、消臭溶液Lの流入が停止する。その後は、ミスト発生によって消臭溶液Lが減少すれば、それを補うだけの量の消臭溶液Lがリザーブタンク11から供給される。ここで、リザーブタンク11と連結管12との接続部には、リザーブタンク11を取り外し可能にするために、リザーブタンク11を取り外しても連結管12及び導入管64の密閉状態が維持されるように、可動弁などを備えた公知の接続手段を設けてもよい。
次に、図5に示した消臭装置の制御部の動作を示すフローチャートに基づいて、消臭装置の動作を説明する。
先ず、消臭装置の電源がオンされると、制御部はこれを検知して(ステップS1)、ステップS2において、モータ13への電力供給を開始する。これによって、ファン10が所定の回転速度で回転を開始し、排気口4からダクト7内の空気が排気され、吸気口3からダクト7内に外気が吸入される。吸入された空気がフィルタ部8を通過することによって、空気中に含まれている埃、粉塵などがフィルタ部8によって吸着される。その後、埃、粉塵などが減少した清浄な空気は、上記したように、ダクト中央部7b及びダクト後方部7cを通って、排気口4から排出される。この気流によって、ダクト前方部7aでは上部から下部に向かう気流が発生し、ダクト前方部7a内の空気は、フィルタ部8付近で吸気口3から吸入された空気と混合され、上記と同様に、ダクト中央部7b及びダクト後方部7cを通って、排気口4から排出される。
ステップS3において、制御部は、超音波発振器5への電力供給を開始する。これによって、振動子51が所定の周波数で振動を開始し、ミストボックス6内の消臭溶液Lの液面Sからミストが発生する。発生したミストは、ダクト前方部7a内に生じている気流によって、ミスト排出口61からダクト前方部7a内に流入し、その後は上記したようにダクト7内の気流に乗って、フィルタ部8の付近で、吸入口3から吸入された空気と混合し、フィルタ部8を通過し、ダクト中央部7b、ダクト後方部7cを通って、排気口4から排出される。
ここで、上記したように、レンズ窓2及びダクト前方部7aが透明な材質で形成されており、レンズ窓2が凸レンズ形状であることから、横長のミスト排出口61から排出されたミストがダクト前方部7a内を降下する様子を、拡大された状態で、消臭装置の外部から目視することができる。これによって、見る人に清涼感を与えることができる。
発生したミストの内、大きさが十分に小さいミストは、フィルタ部8によって殆ど吸着されず、比較的大きいミストのみがフィルタ部8によって吸着される。ここで、使用するフィルタ本体の種類は、発生するミストの大きさを考慮して、選択すればよい。また、動作を開始した直後は、フィルタ部8が乾燥しているが、ミストがフィルタ部8を通過することによって、一部のミストがフィルタ部8に付着することによって、フィルタ部8が湿式フィルタとして機能するようになり、フィルタ特性(埃、粉塵の吸着性能)が向上する。
ステップS4において、制御部は、電源がオフされたか否かを判断し、電源がオフされるまで、モータ13及び超音波発振器5への電力供給を維持する。従って、上記したように、ミストボックス6でのミストの発生、フィルタ部8による埃、粉塵などの吸着、除去、ファン10によるミストの排出が行われる。
制御部は、ステップS4において電源がオフされたことを検知した場合、ステップS5において超音波発振器5への電力供給を停止する。これによって、ミストの発生が停止する。
次に、制御部は、ステップS6において、第1及び第2湿度センサ9a、9bの各々からの出力信号Va、Vbを取得し、ステップS7において、取得した信号Va、Vbの差が所定の値ΔV以下であるか否かを判断する。即ち、制御部は、|Va−Vb|≦ΔVになるまでモータ13への電力供給を継続(ファン10の回転を維持)し、|Va−Vb|≦ΔVになれば、ステップS8において、モータ13への電力供給を停止(ファン10の回転を停止)し、消臭装置の動作を停止する。
ミスト発生の停止(ステップS5)直後は、フィルタ部8が湿っているので、第2湿度センサ9bの方が、吸気口3付近の第1湿度センサ9aよりも湿度の高い状態を示す信号を出力する。ミストの発生のみを停止し、ファン10の回転を維持することによって、吸気口3から流入する空気によってフィルタ部8が徐々に乾燥する。そして、制御部は、第1及び第2湿度センサ9a、9bの出力信号が近い値(|Va−Vb|≦ΔV)になったとき、即ちフィルタ部8が乾燥した状態になったと判断されるとき、ファン10の回転を停止させる。これによって、少ない消費電力で、フィルタ部8を速やかに乾燥させることができ、フィルタ部8が湿った状態のままである場合に生じるカビなどの発生を防止することができる。
以上においては、フィルタ部8は、交換が容易なように吸入口3付近に配置した場合を説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、ミスト及び流入する空気が通過するダクト7内の位置に配置されていればよい。また、フィルタ部8は、ダクト7を完全に塞がずに、部分的に塞ぐように配置されていてもよい。
また、ファン10として、騒音が低いシロッコファンを使用する場合を説明したが、その他の排気手段を使用してもよい。
また、導入管64への泡の進入を防止するために仕切板63を配置する場合を説明したが、仕切板に限定されるものではなく、導入管64の近傍の液面での泡の発生が軽減されるように超音波発振器5の振動子51を配置し、導入管64の周囲に発生する泡を遮蔽する手段を導入管64下端部の開口の近傍に配置すればよい。
また、仕切板63の下端部とミストボックス6の底面とが所定の距離だけ離れている場合を説明したが、仕切板63の配置はこれに限定されるものではなく、導入管64から導入される消臭溶液が、ミストボックス内に一様に広がることができればよい。例えば、仕切板に消臭溶液が通過可能な穴を空け、仕切板の下端をミストボックスの底面に接して配置してもよい。
ミストボックス6のミスト排出口61の形状として、横長長方形の場合を説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、ミストボックス6の内部を目視し難く、消臭溶液の飛沫が排出され難い形状であればよい。
また、レンズ窓2は、凸レンズ形状に限定されず、凸レンズとして機能すればよく、フレネルレンズなどの形状であってもよい。
【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、ミストボックスのミスト排出口の高さ、及び消臭溶液の液面高さを適切に設定することによって、消臭装置外部から、消臭溶液の液面を見え難くすることができるので、消臭溶液の液面に発生する白い泡が目視されることがなく、不清潔感や不快感を与えることがなくなる。
また、ミストボックスから排出されるミストをダクトによって下方に導き、前面のレンズ窓によってミストの流れを拡大表示することができ、これによってミストの流れを滝を模した流れとして示すことができ、見る人に清涼感を与えることができる。
また、フィルタによって空気中の埃、粉塵などを吸着し、清浄化した空気をミストと共に排出するので、消臭効果に加えて室内を清浄化することができ、従来よりも、床などに残る埃を軽減することができる。
また、ミストをフィルタを通過させることによって、フィルタが湿式フィルタとして機能し、より高い吸着性能で空気中の埃、粉塵などを吸着して除去することができ、より効率的に室内を清浄化することができる。
