この発明は、検体容器が有するICタグに記憶された検体情報を受信するアンテナを備えた検体ラック及び該検体ラックを用いた検***置認識システムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、血液、血漿、血清等の検体は、医療機関等において採取され、試験管等の検体容器に収容されて検査機関に搬送される。検査機関においては、搬入された検体について受付処理を行った後に、検体を検体ラックに収容して保管している。即ち、まず、受付処理、例えば、検査機関に搬送された検体を収容した検体容器に、検体を識別するための検体番号、受付日等を含む検体情報を記載したラベル等の貼り付け等が行われる。次に、受付処理が行われた検体は、検体ラックに収容され、例えば、検体ラックの収容部の位置番号とその検体ラックに保管されている検体の検体情報等を対応させることによって検体の検査や検体の保管等の管理が行われる(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

検体ラックに保管されている検体は、検査、再検査又は廃棄を指示された場合には、検体ラックから抜き取られ、検査、再検査又は廃棄が行われる。また、検査が終了し、再検査等に備えて保管を指示された場合には、検体ラックに差し込まれ保管される。なお、検体ラックから検体を抜き取る際に、抜き取りを指示された検体か否かの確認は、ラベルに記載されている検体番号等の目視により行われている。また、検体を差し込む際に、検体を差し込む検体ラックの収容部の確認は、検体ラックの収容部の位置番号を目視することにより行われている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のように検体は、検査、再検査又は廃棄を指示された場合には、指示に基づいて検体ラックから抜き取られ検査、再検査又は廃棄が行われるため、検体ラック内における検体の位置が適切に認識されている必要がある。しかし、従来は、検体に付されている検体情報と検体が収容された検体ラック内における検体の位置を示す情報とを、検体ラックに検体を収容する毎に作業員が確認して、パーソナルコンピュータ等に入力し検体ラック内における検体の位置を認識し管理していた。そのため、検体を検体ラックに収容する処理に多大な労力を必要としていた。また、検体の抜取指示が出された場合、検体ラック内における検体の位置を確認し、該当する検体を目視で確認して抜き取っているため、本来抜き取るべき検体と異なる検体を抜き取ってしまうというミスが生じる場合もある。

この発明の課題は、検体情報と検体ラック内における検体の位置とを容易に対応させることができる検体ラック、及び該検体ラックを用いて検体ラックに収容されている検体を識別すると共に該検体の検体ラック内における位置を認識できる検***置認識システムを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1記載の検体ラックは、検体情報を記憶するICタグを有する複数の検体容器を収容する検体ラックであって、前記検体ラックの各収容部に備えられた、前記各収容部に収容された前記検体容器が有する前記ICタグに記憶された検体情報を受信しICタグリーダに送信するアンテナを備えることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して、この発明の実施の形態に係る検体ラック及び該検体ラックを用いた検***置認識システムについて説明する。なお、以下においては、血液、血漿、血清等の検体を収容している検体容器の検体ラック内における位置を認識する場合を例として説明する。

図1は、この発明の実施の形態に係る検体ラックを説明するための図である。検体ラック2は、図1に示すように検体を収容した検体容器を収容する複数の収容部4が設けられている。この検体ラック2には、左から右方向に10個の収容部4を有する列が前方から後方に5列設けられており、合計50個の収容部4が設けられている。

また、図1に示すように、検体ラック2の各収容部4には、位置番号が付されている。即ち、検体ラック2の奥側から1列目の収容部4には、左から右方向に「01」、「02」、「03」、…と位置番号が付されており、検体ラック2の奥側から2列目の収容部4には、左から右方向に「11」、「12」、「13」、…と位置番号が付されている。また、検体ラック2の奥側から3列目、4列目、5列目の収容部4にも、同様に位置番号が付されている。また、検体ラック2の各収容部4の底部には、図1に模式的に示すようにアンテナ6が配置されている。

また、図1に示すように、検体ラック2の外側面には、ICタグリーダ/ライタ8(ICタグR/W8)が配置されている。このICタグR/W8は、検体ラック2の各収容部4の底部に配置されたアンテナ6とそれぞれ接続されている。

図2は、検体ラック2に収容される検体容器10を示す図である。この検体容器10は、一端が閉じ他端に開口部を有する円筒状の収容部12を有しており、収容部12内にICタグ14が収容されている。このICタグ14には、検体を識別するための検体情報、例えば、検体番号、受付日、患者氏名等を含む情報が記憶されている。

ここで、ICタグ14としては、非接触で情報の読み取りが可能なもの、例えば、RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)タグ等が用いられる。また、このICタグ14は、フィルム状等、ごく薄い形状のものであって、検体容器10内に検体と共に収容することが可能な程度の大きさのものである。微細なものとしては0.4mm×0.4mm程度の大きさのICタグも用いられる。なお、このように微細なICタグに用いることができるICチップとして、紙幣や株券等の有価証券に漉き込むことができるICチップが存在する(特開2001−260580号公報参照)。また、ICタグ14は、検体の性状に影響を与えない素材、例えば、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、PET(polyethylene terephthalate)等の素材によりコーティングされている。なお、この発明の実施の形態に係る検***置認識システムにおいては、電磁誘導方式のRFIDタグがICタグ14として用いられる。

図3は、検体容器10を収容する収容部4の一例を模式的に示した図である。検体ラック2の各収容部4の底部には、この図3に示すように、アンテナ6が配置されており、このアンテナ6はICタグR/W8と接続されている。また、各収容部4の内壁面は、底部に配置されたアンテナ6と近接した他の収容部4に収容された検体容器10の収容部12に収容されてるICタグ14との間の通信を妨げるように、例えば、各収容部4の内壁面がアルミニウム等によりコーティングされている。従って、例えば、位置番号「01」の収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6は、「01」の収容部4に収容された検体容器10の収容部12に収容されているICタグ14とのみ通信を行うことができ、「02」の収容部4に収容された検体容器10の収容部12に収容されているICタグ14との間の通信は遮断される。

図4は、この発明の実施の形態に係る検体ラックを用いた検***置認識システムのブロック構成図である。検***置認識システム20は、医療機関において採取された検体の検査を行う検査機関等に設置されている。この検***置認識システム20は、検体の位置認識等の処理を行うパーソナルコンピュータ(PC)22を備えており、このPC22には、ICタグR/W8が接続されている。

ICタグR/W8は、検体ラック2の各収容部4の底部に配置されている各々のアンテナ6に接続されており、各収容部4に収容された検体容器10の収容部12に収容されているICタグ14からアンテナ6を介して検体情報(検体番号、受付日等)を読み取る。そして、読み取った検体情報と何れの収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6を介して検体情報を読み取ったかを示す情報、即ち、該アンテナ6が配置されている収容部4に付された位置番号とを対応させてPC22に送信する。

ここで、ICタグR/W8においては、複数のチャネル、例えば、10のチャネルを用いアンテナ6を介してICタグ14に記憶されている検体情報を読み取ることができる。例えば、まず、1回目の読み取り処理において、図1に示す検体ラック2の奥側から1列目の「01」〜「10」の各収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6を介して各収容部4に収容されている検体の検体情報を読み取る。この時、各チャネルにおいて、例えば、チャネル1においては、「01」の収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6を介して、チャネル2においては、「02」の収容部4に配置されているアンテナ6を介してICタグ14に記憶されている検体情報が読み取られる。また、チャネル3〜チャネル10においても、チャネル1及びチャネル2と同様に、「03」〜「10」の各収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6を介してそれぞれのICタグ14に記憶されている検体情報が読み取られる。更に、2列目〜5列目についても、1列目と同様に各チャネルにおいて各収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6を介して検体情報が読み取られる。

図5は、PC22のブロック構成図である。図5に示すように、PC22は、このPC22におけるデータの処理を制御するデータ制御部30を備えている。このデータ制御部30には、ICタグR/W8及び検体の受付処理や検査の管理等を行う上位システム(図示せず)との間の通信を制御する通信制御部32が接続されている。また、データ制御部30には、ICタグR/W8を介して読み取られた検体情報を記憶するデータ記憶部34及びデータ記憶部34に記憶された検体情報等を表示する表示部36が接続されている。

次に、この発明の実施の形態に係る検***置認識システムにおいて、この発明の実施の形態に係る検体ラックに収容されている検体を識別すると共に、該検体の検体ラック内における位置を認識する処理について説明する。

まず、検体が収容された検体容器10が検査機関に搬入される。なお、搬入された検体を識別するための検体情報は、検体容器10の収容部12に検体と共に収容されているICタグ14に記憶されている。

次に、搬入された検体容器10を、検体ラック2の任意の収容部4に挿入することによって検体ラック2に収容する。そして、ICタグR/W8において、各収容部4に収容されている検体容器10の収容部12に収容されたICタグ14に記憶されている検体情報をアンテナ6を介して読み取る。即ち、まず、ICタグR/W8からの電波がアンテナ6を介してICタグ14に送信される。

ICタグ14においては、ICタグR/W8からアンテナ6を介して送信された電波により電力伝送を受ける。ここで、ICタグ14は電磁誘導方式のRFIDタグであるため、ICタグ14のアンテナ及びアンテナ6としてコイルが用いられている。従って、ICタグR/W8からの電波を受信し、2つのコイルの誘導電束による誘起電圧を利用してICタグ14において発電する。次に、ICタグ14は、発電することにより起動し、このICタグ14を有する検体容器10が収容されている収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6に対して検体情報を送信する。アンテナ6においては、ICタグ14から送信された検体情報を受信し、受信した検体情報をICタグR/W8に対して送信する。

ICタグR/W8においては、例えば、1回目の検体情報を読み取る処理において、位置番号「01」の収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6において受信された検体情報をチャネル1を介して読み取った場合には、収容部4の位置番号「01」と読み取られた検体情報とを対応させてPC22に送信する。また、位置番号「02」の収容部4の底部に配置されているアンテナ6において受信された検体情報をチャネル2を介して読み取った場合には、位置番号「02」と、同様に、チャネル3を介して読み取られた検体情報は位置番号「03」と対応させてPC22に送信する。更に、チャネル4〜チャネル10についても、各チャネルを介して読み取られた検体情報と該検体情報を記憶しているICタグ14を有する検体容器10が収容されている収容部4の位置番号とを対応させてPC22に送信する。同様に、2回目〜5回目の各回における検体情報を読み取る処理において、各チャネルを介して読み取られた検体情報と各収容部4の位置番号とを対応させてPC22に送信する。

PC22においては、ICタグR/W8により読み取られた検体情報を通信制御部32を介して受信し、受信された検体情報を検体ラック2の各収容部4に付された位置番号に対応させてデータ記憶部34に記憶する。ここで、検体情報を検体ラック2の各収容部4に付された位置番号と対応させて記憶することにより、どの検体が何れの収容部4に収容されたか、即ち、検体ラック2にどのような検体が収容されているかを識別することができると共に、該検体の検体ラック2内における位置を認識することができる。

次に、例えば、検査室において検査を行っている場合には、各検体の検体ラック2内における位置と対応させて検査指示情報に含まれている検査項目を表示部36に表示する。ここで、データ記憶部34においては、検査指示情報及び位置番号がそれぞれ検体情報に対応させて記憶されているため、検体ラック2の各収容部4に収容されている検体に対する検査項目を、検体が収容されている位置に対応させて表示部36に表示することができる。

次に、再検査や廃棄等のために検体ラックに収容されている検体の抜き取りが行われた場合等においては、図7のフローチャートに示すように、抜き取られた検体を確認する処理が行われる。

まず、検査の管理等を行う上位システムから送信された検体の抜取指示を通信制御部32を介して受信する(ステップS10)。即ち、検体ラック2からの抜き取りを指示された検体の検体情報を受信する。なお、受信された抜取指示は、データ記憶部34に記憶される。

PC22においては、ICタグR/W8から送信された検体情報を、通信制御部32を介して受信する(ステップS12)。即ち、抜取指示に基づいて検体が抜き取られた後に、検体ラック2に収容されている検体の検体情報と該検体情報に対応する位置番号とを受信する。
