Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an infrared wireless microphone system that is effective when used in close proximity to a plasma display.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Wireless microphone systems are broadly classified into radio systems that use radio waves as communication media for audio signals and infrared systems that use infrared rays.
Although the radio system has the advantage that the distance of signals can be increased, when using multiple systems at the same time in a narrow range, even if a partition is provided for each system use area, interference will not occur if channels are not properly managed. Occurs. On the other hand, in the infrared system, it is not possible to increase the signal flight distance, but when using a large number of systems simultaneously in a narrow range, there is an advantage that interference can be avoided if there is a partition wall that does not transmit infrared light.
Therefore, in the case where a large number of rooms (karaoke rooms) are divided into narrow areas and spaces, such as so-called karaoke facilities, and a separate wireless microphone system is used for each room, an infrared wireless microphone A system (infrared wireless microphone system) is used.
[0003]
By the way, as shown in FIG. 3, in karaoke, only the music (accompaniment music) is output from the
[0004]
Thus, a display is essential for karaoke. Conventionally, a CRT has been mainly used as a display. However, a liquid crystal display has been used since then, and recently, a plasma display panel (PDP) has also been used. The plasma display can realize a large screen while being a small installation space, so that it will be regarded as a promising display in a karaoke facility that tends to have a large screen.
[0005]
In a karaoke facility that uses an infrared wireless microphone system for a wireless microphone system, when such a plasma display is used, different considerations are required than when a conventional CRT or liquid crystal display is used. Become. This is because in the plasma display, infrared light is contained in the light emitting component, which leaks from the screen.
However, in the conventional infrared wireless microphone system, no consideration is given to the influence of infrared rays leaking from the plasma display screen on the receiver of the system. That is, the receiver is merely configured to receive an infrared signal from an infrared microphone and convert it into an audio signal (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Thus, in the conventional system, no consideration has been given to the influence of infrared rays (leakage infrared rays) leaking from the plasma display screen on the receiver. For this reason, the signal component due to the leaked infrared light is mixed in the audio signal of the receiver, amplified, and output from the speaker as annoying noise.
[0008]
As a protective measure against such noise, it is conceivable to devise the installation position and orientation of the plasma display and receiver so that the plasma display screen and the receiver (infrared sensor) do not face each other. Or the free layout of the receiver. Moreover, even if they can be installed so that they do not face each other, the leaked infrared rays from the plasma display screen are not necessarily reflected by the ceiling surface or wall surface and enter the receiver, and drastic measures have been demanded. .
[0009]
The present invention (Claim 1) has been made in view of the above-described demand, and when used in the vicinity of a plasma display, noise due to leaked infrared rays from the plasma display screen is output. It is an object of the present invention to provide an infrared wireless microphone system that can be prevented as much as possible and can be realized without considering the installation position and orientation of a plasma display or a receiver (infrared sensor) or reflection of leaked infrared rays.
[0010]
Further, another invention (claim 2) can prevent the noise due to the leaked infrared rays from the plasma display screen from being output to the minimum necessary with a simple configuration when used in the vicinity of the plasma display. In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide an infrared wireless microphone system that can be realized without considering the installation position and orientation of a plasma display or receiver (infrared sensor), reflection of leaked infrared rays, or the like.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an invention according to
[0012]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an infrared wireless microphone that converts voice into an infrared signal and transmits the signal, and a conversion circuit that converts a signal from an infrared sensor that has received the infrared signal from the infrared wireless microphone into a voice signal. In an infrared wireless microphone system that includes an infrared wireless microphone receiver and is used in proximity to a plasma display, the infrared wireless microphone receiver is configured to detect a sound signal obtained from the conversion circuit from a screen of the plasma display. A filter that extracts a signal component caused by the leaked infrared rays of the filter, a comparator that outputs a limited ON signal when the output signal level of the filter exceeds a predetermined threshold, and an insertion in the transmission path of the audio signal Connected output of the comparator A signal attenuating circuit having a control terminal connected to the child, and the signal attenuating circuit attenuates and outputs the audio signal input to the signal attenuating circuit when the limit ON signal is output from the comparator. It is characterized by.
