【0047】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a driving force transmission device, and more particularly to a driving force transmission device that amplifies a frictional engagement force of a pilot clutch to press a main clutch and transmits a driving force by the frictional engagement force of the main clutch.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a driving force transmission device, the inner shaft is rotatably supported in a bottomed cylindrical housing, and the main clutch, cam mechanism and pilot clutch are housed between the inner wall surface of the housing and the outer wall surface of the inner shaft. And forming a storage chamber that encloses lubricating oil that retains the functions of the main clutch and the pilot clutch, and engaging the main outer clutch plate constituting the main clutch with the inner peripheral wall surface of the housing so as to be movable in the axial direction. The main inner clutch plate that constitutes the main clutch is alternately arranged with the main outer clutch plate, and is engaged with the outer peripheral wall surface of the inner shaft so as to be movable in the axial direction. The cam member can be moved axially on the outer peripheral wall of the inner shaft The pilot clutch side cam member constituting the cam mechanism is fitted on the outer peripheral wall surface of the inner shaft so as to face the main clutch side cam member across the cam follower, and the pilot outer clutch plate constituting the pilot clutch is attached to the housing. The pilot inner clutch plate is engaged with the inner peripheral wall surface so as to be movable in the axial direction, and the pilot inner clutch plate is alternately arranged with the pilot outer clutch plate so that the pilot clutch side cam member is movable in the axial direction. In addition, the friction engagement force generated in the pilot clutch is amplified by the action of the cam mechanism and transmitted to the main clutch, and the main clutch is connected to connect the housing and the inner shaft so that torque can be transmitted. (For example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
The main clutch of the driving force transmission device mainly performs torque transmission between the housing and the inner shaft. The pilot clutch activates the main clutch and controls the torque transmission amount of the main clutch via a cam mechanism, and the friction engagement force of the pilot clutch is amplified and transmitted to the main clutch.
[0004]
By the way, in such a driving force transmission device, the main and pilot clutches are wet clutches, and in particular, a proposal has been made to suppress the drag torque of the main clutch that mainly performs torque transmission (for example, Patent Document 2). reference). Specifically, the main inner clutch plate constituting the main clutch is composed of a core plate made of a metal plate having a substantially annular shape when viewed from the front, and a plurality of friction materials fixed to the surface. . A plurality of friction materials are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the core plate, and two rows of friction materials extending in the circumferential direction are provided concentrically. A first oil groove extending along the radial direction of the core plate and a second oil groove extending along the circumferential direction of the core plate are formed between the friction materials. When the outer peripheral friction material is displaced in the circumferential direction with respect to the inner peripheral friction material of the core plate, the first oil groove and the second oil groove intersect with each other so as to form a T shape. Yes.
[0005]
Further, as a friction plate of a wet multi-plate clutch such as an automatic transmission, a plurality of friction materials are arranged on the surface of the friction plate in a circumferential direction with a plurality of oil passages extending in a radial direction, and these friction materials are arranged in an annular shape. Torque is transmitted in contact with the surface of the separator plate, and the oil passage is formed in a funnel shape so that the passage width decreases from the inner side to the outer side in the radial direction, and the friction plate and the separator plate are not engaged. Sometimes it is possible to effectively guide the lubricating oil remaining between the plates to the oil passage by centrifugal force and discharge it to the outside in the radial direction, reducing frictional resistance due to dragging of the lubricating oil and avoiding energy loss The thing which can do is proposed (for example, refer patent document 3).
[0006]
Further, the present applicant has proposed a clutch plate of a pilot clutch in which a large number of fine protrusions extending in the circumferential direction are provided in parallel on the friction engagement surface while maintaining a fine interval (Patent Document 4). reference).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional driving force transmission device described above, a first oil groove extending along the radial direction of the core plate and a second oil groove extending along the circumferential direction of the core plate are formed between the friction materials. When the outer peripheral friction material is displaced in the circumferential direction with respect to the inner peripheral friction material of the core plate, the first oil groove and the second oil groove intersect with each other so as to form a T shape. As a result, the drag torque of the main clutch can be kept small compared to the previous ones, but the drag torque cannot always be eliminated. This is because even if a measure for reducing the drag torque by the main clutch is taken, if drag torque is generated by the pilot clutch, the drag torque is amplified by the cam mechanism and converted to the pressing force of the main clutch.
[0012]
In the friction plate of a wet multi-plate clutch such as the above-described conventional automatic transmission, a plurality of friction materials are arranged in the circumferential direction on the surface of the friction plate with a plurality of oil passages extending in the radial direction interposed therebetween. Since the passage is formed in a funnel shape so that the passage width decreases from the inside to the outside in the radial direction, a pressure load is generated by the lubricating oil flowing into the oil passage, and the pressure load is generated by the friction plate and the separator. Since the plates are pushed apart so as to be separated from each other, the frictional resistance due to the drag of the lubricating oil can be further reduced and the drag torque can be kept small, but even if this conventional technology is applied to the main clutch, the drag torque is reduced. It was not always satisfactory to keep it small.
[0013]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a driving force transmission device that suppresses the drag torque of the main clutch to a smaller value by suppressing the drag torque of the pilot clutch. And
[0014]
[Means for solving the problems and functions and effects of the invention]
In order to solve the above-described problem, the structural feature of the invention according to claim 1 is that an inner shaft is supported in a housing having a cylindrical inner peripheral surface so as to be relatively rotatable on the same rotational axis, and A storage chamber is formed between the inner peripheral wall surface and the inner shaft outer peripheral wall surface to store a main clutch, a cam mechanism, and a pilot clutch, and to enclose lubricating oil that retains the functions of the main clutch and the pilot clutch. The frictional engagement force generated by the cam mechanism is amplified by the action of the cam mechanism and transmitted to the main clutch, and the main clutch is pressed to connect the housing and the inner shaft so that torque can be transmitted. The metal pilot outer clutch plate is connected to the inner peripheral wall surface of the housing. The metal pilot inner clutch plates constituting the pilot clutch are alternately arranged with the pilot outer clutch plates and engaged with the outer peripheral wall surface of the inner shaft, and the adjacent pilot outer clutch plates and pilot inner clutch plates are adjacent to each other. An oil groove is formed in at least one of the friction portions of the joint surfaces to be joined to guide the lubricating oil from the inner peripheral end to the outer peripheral end of the friction portion, and the oil groove approaches the outer peripheral end as the lubricating oil. That is, the flow resistance increases.
[0015]
According to this, during rotation until the pilot clutch is disengaged, the pressure of the lubricating oil in the oil groove is increased by centrifugal force, and when the pilot clutch is disengaged, the increased pressure of the lubricating oil causes the pilot outer clutch to be disengaged. The plate and the pilot inner clutch plate are pressed in opposite directions and easily separated from each other, and the drag torque of the pilot clutch can be kept small. As a result, the drag torque of the main clutch caused by the pilot clutch can be kept small, so that the drag torque of the main clutch can be kept smaller.
[0016]
Further, the structural feature of the invention according to claim 2 is that, in claim 1, the oil groove extends from the inner peripheral end and decreases in cross-sectional area as it approaches the outer peripheral end.
[0017]
According to this, in addition to the function and effect of the invention of claim 1, since the cross-sectional area of the oil groove through which the lubricating oil flows becomes smaller as it approaches the outer peripheral end, the lubricating oil overflows from the oil groove and overflows. The lubricating oil acts to push and spread the pilot outer clutch plate and the pilot inner clutch plate. As a result, the drag torque of the main clutch caused by the pilot clutch can be kept small, so that the drag torque of the main clutch can be kept smaller.
[0018]
A structural feature of the invention according to
[0019]
According to this, in addition to the function and effect of the invention according to claim 1, since the oil groove becomes a dead end in the middle of reaching the outer peripheral end, the lubricating oil loses its place and overflows from the oil groove. The lubricating oil acts to push and spread the pilot outer clutch plate and the pilot inner clutch plate. As a result, the drag torque of the main clutch caused by the pilot clutch can be kept small, so that the drag torque of the main clutch can be kept smaller.
[0020]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first to third aspects, an oil groove is provided on one of the joint surfaces of the pilot outer clutch plate and the pilot inner clutch plate. In other words, a large number of fine grooves or protrusions are formed on the other joint surface.
[0021]
According to this, since the other joining surface has a substantially flat surface property in which a large number of fine grooves or protrusions are formed, the lubricating oil overflowing from the oil groove formed on one joining surface is joined to the other joining surface. Since both clutch plates are spread by entering the gap between the two clutch plates without entering the recesses (grooves) on the surface, the drag torque of the pilot clutch can be reduced more efficiently. As a result, the drag torque of the main clutch can be further reduced.
[0022]
In addition, the structural feature of the invention according to claim 5 is that, in claim 4, the parallel spacing of the fine grooves or ridges is 600 μm or less and the depth or height from the reference surface is 1 μm or more. That is. According to this, the drag torque of the pilot clutch can be suppressed to be small while eliminating the wedge action of oil, and the drag torque of the main clutch can be further suppressed to be small.
