Abstract
Description
【0001】

θ=sin−1{κDwe/(2R)}
0.3/2×Dwe≦A≦(R−Ri)
Li<(κDwe/2−Asinθ)
Lo<κDwe/2
θ=sin−1{κDwe/(2R)}
0.3/2×Dwe≦A≦(R−Ri)
Li<(κDwe/2−Asinθ)
Lo<κDwe/2
【0054】
θ’=sin−1(κDwe/2R)
Limax=κDwe/2−A×(1−cosθ’)/cosθ’
【0058】
θ7= tan−1(−R/S)
θ8= tan−1(−R/κDwe×sinθ3)
θ3= cos−1{(2R2+S2−κDwe2)/(2R×(R2+S2)1/2)}
B = κDwe/2×sin(θ7−θ8)
【0067】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a linear motion guide device, and more particularly, to a separator (separator) interposed between infinite circulation rollers, a linear motion guide device provided with the separator, and a device using the linear motion guide device. About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a linear motion guide device in which a number of rolling elements circulating infinitely are arranged, each rolling element rolls in the same direction. Therefore, when adjacent rolling elements come into contact with each other, the rotation direction of each rolling element at the contact portion Are in opposite directions to each other, the force pressing the rolling elements generated at the contact portion prevents smooth rolling of the rolling elements in contact with each other, and the smoothness of the linear motion guide device extends. Operation may be impaired.
[0003]
When a cylindrical or cylindrical roller is used for the rolling element, the rigidity and load capacity (permissible bearing load) can be increased as compared with the case where a spherical ball is used as the rolling element. , A so-called skew (a phenomenon in which the longitudinal axis of a cylindrical or cylindrical roller is inclined without being orthogonal to the traveling direction of the roller) occurs, impairing the operability of the rolling element and the linear motion guide device. There is fear.
[0004]
For this reason, in the linear motion guide device, a configuration is adopted in which the rolling elements are not directly in contact with each other by interposing a separator (separator) between the rolling elements, thereby smoothing the rolling (running) of the rolling elements and improving operability. It is known to improve the noise while driving while reducing the noise.
[0005]
For example, Patent Documents 1, 2, and 3 below disclose a separator interposed between rollers.
[0006]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. H11-163873 discloses a rolling bearing using a roller, which has a concave contact portion adapted to a cylindrical surface of a roller as a separator (separator), and has both sides in a linear motion direction with a center of the spacer therebetween. A device having an arm (web) extending to the center of a roller is disclosed. This device has a configuration in which the arm and an arm extending from an adjacent spacer are brought into contact with each other. ing.

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the one disclosed in Patent Literature 1 transmits a force transmitted to a separator when a roller rolls and moves to the next separator via an arm provided on the separator. Because of the configuration, the following facts exist.
[0008]
As the movement of the roller shifts from the linear portion to the direction change portion, the contact position between the arm portions changes, and there is a concern that the distance between the rollers may be expanded. Originally, in order to increase the load capacity of the linear motion guide device, in the direction changing portion, the rollers and the separator were arranged relatively tightly so that as many rollers as possible could be arranged in the load zone. Therefore, due to the action of the pushing force, an excessive force acts between the arms in contact with each other, which hinders smooth movement of the rollers and the spacer, thereby deteriorating the operability. There is.
[0009]
Further, as disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, when a force is transmitted by bringing the arm portions into contact with each other, a gap in the traveling direction is provided between the roller and one of the front and rear spacers. Therefore, there is a concern that the occurrence of skew at the roller cannot be sufficiently suppressed. Furthermore, the number of rollers that can be arranged in the load zone is reduced due to the presence of the gap, and there is a concern that the load capacity cannot be sufficiently increased.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional situation, and has a simple configuration, yet effectively suppresses a reduction in load capacity and the occurrence of skew and promotes operability. It is an object of the present invention to provide a linear motion guide device including a separator, and a device including the linear motion guide device.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, the linear guide device separator according to the first aspect of the present invention is a linear guide device separator interposed between cylindrical or cylindrical rollers as rolling elements,
In the entire circulation path of the rollers, the separators are configured not to contact each other.
[0012]
With this configuration, since the separators do not contact each other, smooth operation of the rollers and the rollers can be achieved. In addition, since the occurrence of skew of the rollers can be suppressed, smoother operation can be realized, and at the same time, the fluttering of the rollers at the time of entering the load zone is suppressed, thereby reducing noise and vibration during operation. Can also be suppressed.
[0013]
The invention described in claim 2 is
The separator,
A storage section having a concave contact surface for receiving and contacting a part of the cylindrical or cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the roller, a separator section provided on both sides in the roller moving direction,
Arms each extending toward the center of rotation of the adjacent roller and guiding the end surface in the rotation axis direction of the roller;
A bridging portion that connects the separator portion and the arm portion,
Is characterized by including.
[0014]
If the distance between rollers is shortened in order to increase the number of rollers arranged in the load area and increase the load capacity, the roller contact portion of the separator portion becomes thinner in the moving direction (linear motion direction), but the separator portion becomes brittle. According to the present invention, since the connection between the upper portion of the separator portion and the lower portion of the separator portion is strengthened by the bridge portion between the arm portion and the separator, the strength of the separator portion can be increased.
[0015]
For this reason, the distance between the rollers can be shortened while securing the desired strength. Therefore, even if a separator is interposed between the rollers, the number of rollers that can be arranged in the load area decreases, and the load capacity decreases. Can be minimized.
[0016]
Further, since the roller end faces are guided by the arm portions, it is possible to minimize the risk of the rollers falling off from the separator portion and the occurrence of skew of the rollers.
[0017]
Furthermore, in the case where the separator is used in a linear motion guide device, if the arms are guided, the occurrence of skew of the rollers can be more effectively suppressed, and thus the operations of the rollers and the separator can be further improved. It can be smoothed.
[0018]
The invention according to claim 3 is:
Concave surface height from the line connecting the center of rotation of the adjacent rollers to the end surface of the storage portion having the concave contact surface of the separator portion, which is substantially parallel to the linear motion surface of the roller,
In the direction change portion where the movement of the roller is changed around the predetermined movement center, the height of the concave surface Hi on the side located closer to the movement center side than the line connecting the rotation centers of the adjacent rollers is smaller than that of the adjacent roller. It is characterized in that the concave surface height Ho on the side located on the side opposite to the movement center with respect to the line connecting the rotation centers is increased.
[0019]
Further, the invention described in claim 4 is:
Regarding the width of the separator in the moving direction width of the roller at the end surface substantially parallel to the linear motion surface of the roller,
In the direction change portion where the movement of the rollers is changed around the predetermined movement center, the width of the movement direction width dimension b on the side located closer to the movement center side than the line connecting the rotation centers of the adjacent rollers is smaller than the width of the movement roller. The width a in the movement direction on the side located on the side opposite to the movement center with respect to the line connecting the rotation centers of the movements is configured to be large.
[0020]
According to the third and fourth aspects of the present invention, the roller holding ability of the separator portion is improved, so that the occurrence of skew of the rollers can be effectively suppressed, and the falling off of the rollers can be effectively suppressed. You can do it. In particular, as a result of the improved roller holding function in the direction change section, when this separator is employed in the linear motion guide device, even when the slider unit is removed from the rail, the rollers can be prevented from falling off. Thus, the maintainability, assemblability, and the like can be improved.
[0021]
The invention according to claim 5 is
When the arm portion is configured to extend from the center of the separator portion to both sides in the movement direction with substantially the same size toward the center of rotation of the adjacent roller, the length L on one side of the arm portion,
Roller diameter is Dwe,
The distance between centers of adjacent rollers is κDwe,
In the direction change portion, the radius dimension of the rotation center of the roller from the movement center is R,
The radius of the envelope surface formed by the arms (the height of the arms in the direction perpendicular to the roller rolling surface is A) from the line connecting the centers of the adjacent rollers to the movement center side is Ri. And when
The movement center is defined with respect to the one-sided length Li of the arm on the movement center side from the line connecting the rotation centers of the adjacent rollers (the length of one side of the inner arm), and the line connecting the rotation centers of the adjacent rollers. The length of one side of the arm on the opposite side of (the one side length of the outer arm) Lo is
θ = sin -1 {ΚDwe / (2R)}
0.3 / 2 × Dwe ≦ A ≦ (R-Ri)
Li <(κDwe / 2-Asinθ)
Lo <κDwe / 2
The arm portion is formed in a contour shape that satisfies the following.
[0022]
The invention described in claim 6 is
When the arm portion is configured to extend from the center of the separator portion to both sides in the moving direction with different dimensions toward the center of rotation of the adjacent roller, the length of the arm portion extended in both sides in the moving direction Is characterized in that the maximum length Ls of the sum is smaller than the distance κDwe between the centers of rotation of adjacent rollers.
[0023]
According to the invention as set forth in claims 5 and 6, since the arm portions of the adjacent separators can be set to such a length that they do not contact each other in all circulation paths, It is possible to reliably realize the smooth operation of the separator.
[0024]
The invention according to claim 7 is
At a position where the width between the concave contact surfaces of the accommodating portions provided on both sides in the moving direction of the separator portion is in contact with an adjacent roller.
[0025]
With such a configuration, even when swelling occurs, the influence on the width between the concave contact surfaces can be minimized, so that the gap between the roller rows with the separator interposed therebetween increases, and the rollers are separated from the separator. It is possible to effectively suppress the fear of easily falling off.
[0026]
The invention according to claim 8 is characterized in that a concave lubricant reservoir is provided on the contact surface of the housing portion. With such a configuration, smooth operation of the rollers and the separator can be achieved, and at the same time, the wear of the rollers and the separator can be suppressed, and the operation noise and the like can be suppressed.
[0027]
A linear motion guide device according to a ninth aspect of the present invention includes the linear motion guide device separator according to any one of the first to eighth aspects between rollers as rolling elements. It is characterized by that.
[0028]
According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a linear motion guide device having a simple configuration, in which a reduction in load capacity and the occurrence of skew are effectively suppressed and the operability is promoted.
[0029]
A linear motion guide device according to a tenth aspect of the present invention is configured to guide the arm. In this way, if the arms are guided, the occurrence of skew of the rollers can be more effectively suppressed, and the operations of the rollers and the separator can be further facilitated.
[0030]
According to an eleventh aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus (various processing apparatuses) including the linear motion guide device according to the ninth or tenth aspect.
[0031]
According to such a configuration, it is possible to provide a device using the linear motion guide device with reduced load capacity and skew that is effectively suppressed and operability is promoted, while having a simple configuration.
[0032]

By the way, in general, since the separator has a complicated shape, it is often manufactured by molding in order to manufacture it at low cost. For this reason, as a material of the separator, a moldable plastic material, an elastomer material, or the like is used. However, the linear motion guide device is a mechanical element that usually uses a lubricant or a rust preventive in use or storage. Therefore, when the separator is formed of a plastic material or an elastomer material, it is not possible to eliminate swelling. difficult. Therefore, when the separator is interposed between the rollers, there is a possibility that the distance between the centers of the rotating shafts of the rollers is relatively greatly affected. The size of the separator in the height direction is larger than the size between the concave surfaces that are provided on both sides of the separator and that comes into contact with the rollers, so when swelling occurs, the expansion in the height direction is large. Accordingly, the interval between the concave surfaces tends to be small. Therefore, there is a concern that the clearance in the roller row with the separator interposed therebetween increases, and the rollers easily fall off from the separator.
[0071]
For this reason, in this embodiment, in order to minimize the influence of the swelling on the interval between the concave surfaces, contact portions between the

Further, plastic materials and elastomer materials are more likely to be elastically deformed than metal materials, so that the gap in the roller row with the separator interposed therebetween is likely to change, and the rollers may easily fall off.
