Abstract
Description
【0001】
また、各車輪W(Wfl,Wfr,Wrl,Wrr)は、それぞれ、ニューマチックサスペンション(以下、単にサスペンションと記す)PS(PSfl,PSfr,PSrl,PSrr)により独立して懸架されると共に、ディスクブレーキDB(DBfl,DBfr,DBrl,DBrr)によりそれぞれ制動される。
【0016】
【0018】
PSC10は、図2に示したように、サスペンションPS(PSfl,PSfr,PSrl,PSrr)に送給するエア圧を適宜増減し、各車輪W(Wfl,Wfr,Wrl,Wrr)の中心と路面との距離を変動させる。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle having a vehicle height adjusting function, and more particularly to a technique for protecting a tire at the time of puncturing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Puncture caused by nail stepping or the like has been an unavoidable problem since pneumatic tires have been used in automobiles. When a tire is punctured, the rigidity and shape retention of the punctured tire are significantly reduced, so that steering, acceleration, braking, etc., during traveling cannot be performed smoothly, the tire falls off due to a rim detachment, and the tire is damaged due to significant heat generation. There was also a risk of such as. In addition, when the vehicle continued to travel in a punctured state, the sidewalls and the like were often damaged by repeated deformation, and it was often impossible to repair the punctured tire. Therefore, when a puncture occurs, the driver must promptly replace the tire with a spare tire.In recent years, however, the driver intends to secure the volume of the trunk room, which is a storage area for the spare tire. In many cases, a small tempered tire is used as a spare tire, or the spare tire itself is not mounted.
[0003]
However, the tempered tire is not suitable for high-speed running or long-distance running because the size of the tempered tire is reduced by reducing the tread width while increasing the air pressure. Furthermore, when a puncture occurs on a highway, it is not preferable to replace the tires with spare tires in a roadside zone or the like in view of the traffic flow. Also, even on a general road, it takes a relatively long time to replace the tire with a spare tire. Therefore, a run-flat tire in which a highly rigid ring body is buried in the vicinity of the buttress region of the tire (specifically, the joint between the tread and the sidewall) to suppress the deformation of the tire even during puncturing and to enable running. (See, for example, Patent Document 1).

[Patent Document 1]
Patent No. 3377448 (
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, run-flat tires are provided with metal rings and the like on the tires and wheels for the sake of securing rigidity and shape retention even during puncturing, so that the weight of the wheels (ie, unsprung weight) is prevented from increasing. I couldn't. As a result, there is a problem that the power performance of the vehicle is significantly reduced, and that the braking force is reduced and the fuel efficiency is deteriorated. Further, in the run flat tire of Patent Document 1, even when the tire is not punctured, free deformation of the tread is suppressed by the ring body, so that there is a possibility that the running performance on rough roads and the like may be reduced.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle having a vehicle height adjustment function for protecting a tire at the time of a puncture by utilizing a vehicle height adjustment function of a suspension device. I do.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, the present inventors have determined that in a vehicle having a suspension having a vehicle height adjustment function, such as a pneumatic suspension or a hydropneumatic suspension, by appropriately controlling the amount of air or oil supplied to the suspension, Focusing on the fact that the distance of the wheels to the road surface can be changed independently, a vehicle height adjustment function that realizes protection of tires etc. by lifting the punctured tire from the road surface and reducing the ground load Invented a vehicle that has
[0008]
The invention according to claim 1 is characterized in that at least four wheels, a suspension device having a vehicle height adjusting function for independently suspending these wheels, air pressure detecting means for detecting air pressure of each tire, and the air pressure detecting means, A puncture determination unit that determines a puncture of a tire mounted on a wheel, and when the puncture determination unit determines that any of the tires has punctured, the distance between the center of the wheel on which the tire is mounted and the road surface is increased. And a puncturing control means for controlling the suspension device.
According to this configuration, the tire is damaged by appropriately operating the suspension device to float the punctured tire so that the tire does not come into contact with the road surface, or by reducing the ground contact load and rolling without substantially deforming the tire. Traveling can be continued in a state where no or little occurrence occurs. This eliminates the need for replacement of spare tires, which is cumbersome and heavy labor, without using run-flat tires.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the present invention, the puncturing control means is arranged to position the center of gravity of the vehicle in a region defined by a straight line connecting the grounding surfaces of the unpunctured tires. The suspension device is driven and controlled.
According to this configuration, since the weight of the vehicle body is supported by the tires excluding punctured tires, relatively stable traveling can be realized.
[0010]
Further, the invention according to
According to this configuration, even when the posture change of the vehicle due to the operation of the suspension device is small or the like, the driver can quickly recognize the puncture of the tire, so that the repair of the tire at the maintenance shop or the gas station is encouraged. .
[0011]
The invention according to claim 4 is the invention according to claims 1 to 3, further comprising an optical axis adjusting means provided for adjusting the optical axis of the headlight, wherein the suspension device is driven by the puncturing control means. When the attitude of the vehicle body changes due to the control, the drive of the optical axis adjusting means is controlled to optimize the optical axis of the headlight.
According to this configuration, even when the vehicle body is tilted to the front and rear or left and right due to the operation of the suspension device, the optical axis of the headlight is less likely to be directed up and down or to the side, ensuring visibility and preventing glare to oncoming vehicles. Is realized.
[0012]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the first to fourth aspects of the present invention, an anti-lock brake system is further provided, and when the puncture determination means determines a puncture of the tire, the anti-lock brake system is used. The brake control is performed by excluding punctured tires.
According to this configuration, the anti-lock brake system prevents the punctured tire from rotating and erroneously recognizing the brake as a brake lock, thereby preventing the control for releasing the braking from being repeated, and the like. Hunting is prevented.
[0013]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the first to fifth aspects of the present invention, the traction control system further includes a traction control system. And at least one of the driving force and the braking force is controlled so that the center of gravity of the vehicle does not deviate from the area defined by the straight line connecting.
According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent a large load from acting on the punctured tire due to sudden acceleration or sudden braking by the driver.

機械 Mechanical structure of automobile≫
As shown in FIG. 1, the automobile C of the present embodiment has four wheels W (left and right front wheels Wfl, Wfr and left and right rear wheels Wrl, Wrr) as air pressure detecting means for detecting the tire air pressure. It has a mechanical air pressure sensor AS (ASfl, ASfr, ASrl, ASrr) composed of a strain gauge, a transmitter, a battery and the like. Each wheel W (Wfl, Wfr, Wrl, Wrr) is independently suspended by a pneumatic suspension (hereinafter simply referred to as a suspension) PS (PSfl, PSfr, PSrl, PSrr), and a disc brake is provided. Braking is performed by DBs (DBfl, DBfr, DBrl, DBrr).

On the other hand, the

(Front wheel puncture)
Since the left and right front wheels are connected via differential gears, if one punctured front wheel is lifted off the road surface, the punctured front wheel will idle and consume the driving force as it is. Therefore, in an automobile equipped with a traction control system (VSA in the present embodiment), it is necessary to fix the punctured front wheel to enable traveling by the other front wheel. When a braking force is applied to a vehicle that is moving forward, the center of gravity G of the vehicle moves forward due to the inertial acceleration g as shown in FIGS. There is a risk that the vehicle leans toward the punctured front wheel. Therefore, in order to realize stable traveling, it is desirable to control the braking force so that the center of gravity G of the vehicle does not deviate from the region S. However, in order to prevent a rear-end collision with an automobile or the like when braking suddenly, it is naturally necessary to perform rapid braking even when the vehicle body is tilted.

When an acceleration force acts on a vehicle that is moving forward, as shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, the center of gravity G of the vehicle moves backward due to the inertial acceleration g, and one of the rear wheels punctures. In some vehicles, the vehicle body may lean toward the punctured rear wheel. Therefore, in order to realize stable running, it is desirable to control the acceleration force so that the center of gravity G of the vehicle does not deviate from the region S.

[0045]
According to the present embodiment, as described above, even if one of the front and rear wheels is punctured, traveling can be continued in a relatively stable state with the punctured tire floating. This frees the driver from having to change to spare tires, which is cumbersome and labor-intensive, as well as making it possible to reach garages and gas stations without damaging punctured tires. Etc. also decrease.
[0046]
This concludes the description of the specific embodiment, but aspects of the present invention are not limited to this embodiment. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to a vehicle having a pneumatic suspension. However, the present invention is applied to a vehicle having another type of suspension having a vehicle height adjusting function, such as a hydropneumatic suspension. Is also good. Further, in the above-described embodiment, the punctured tire is run with the tire lifted off the road surface. However, the amount of floating on the road surface can be appropriately set, and the tire may be grounded to the extent that the tire is not significantly deformed. In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to a vehicle equipped with a VSA having the functions of an anti-lock brake system and traction control. The present invention may be applied to a vehicle that is not provided with a vehicle. In addition, the specific procedure of the control is not limited to the above embodiment.
[0047]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the suspension device is appropriately operated to lift the punctured tire so that the tire does not come into contact with the road surface, or to reduce the contact load to allow the tire to roll with almost no deformation. This allows the vehicle to continue running without any or almost no tire damage. As a result, it is possible to obtain an effect that, for example, it is not necessary to replace a spare tire, which is cumbersome and heavy labor, without employing a run flat tire that causes an increase in unsprung weight.
