本例は、電池ユニット14においてSMBus(System Management Bus )プロトコルを使用している。

As described above, in this example, the
Also, a microcomputer and a non-volatile memory (EEPROM) are provided for each module, and each operation is performed in a distributed manner in the same manner as in the first embodiment, so that complicated processing is concentrated in one place. Since it can be distributed without using a high-end microcomputer, it can be configured with an inexpensive microcomputer, and it is possible to improve cost performance for higher functionality.
[0026]
Next, a specific example of the unique information stored in the nonvolatile memory of each unit (module) described above will be described.
FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of the unique information. First, the memory of the core (display) module stores various information such as the number of input keys, the number of output LEDs, the number of output speakers and buzzers, the display LCD size, the device scripter (specification information) by USB, and the firmware version. I have.
Further, in the memory of the sensor module, various types of information such as the type and number of sensors, the format of data, the type and number of output devices, the total use time, the number of gear stages, the shift position, and calibration information are stored. .
In addition, information such as the number of tires, motor torque constant, motor DC resistance, number of motor magnet poles, maximum power running current, maximum regenerative current, maximum target torque, maximum torque change, and maximum current change are stored in the memory of the motor module. Is stored.
When the system is started, the microcomputer of the host module reads this information, selects and runs appropriate software, and executes the processing in a distributed manner by the microcomputer of each module.
[0027]
For example, after the power is turned on and the reset is released, the host module checks the bus topology and sets an address for each device. Then, the device scripter of each device is obtained, and it is known that the bicycle is a front-wheel drive bicycle having a three-module configuration. Then, unique information stored in the non-volatile memory of each module is read from the host module, and parameters used in applications in the host module are initialized.
Then, isochronous transfer is started, and normal processing is started.
Here, examples of information communicated between the modules in the isochronous transfer include the following.
First, the target torque and the target current are included from the core module to the motor module. Further, the sensor module to the core module include a torque sensor value, an acceleration sensor value, a current transmission gear value, and the like. Further, the target transmission gear value is included from the core module to the sensor module.
[0028]
Next, a specific example of software exchange between the above-described vehicle controller unit and the motor unit will be described.
First, at startup, the vehicle controller unit obtains a torque constant from the motor unit. Also, during normal operation, the vehicle controller unit acquires the pedal depression force from the torque sensor.
When the assist ratio is 1: 1, the target current is calculated from the following equation because the target torque is the pedal effort.
Target current = Target torque / Torque constant Then, the target current obtained by this calculation is transmitted to the motor controller, and the motor controller controls the current of the motor by current feedback.
[0029]
Next, an extended example of this example will be described.
In the above-described example, the present invention has been described with respect to the electric assist bicycle. However, the module configuration described above can be used as it is in an electric vehicle such as an electric vehicle or an electric motorcycle. That is, in an electric vehicle, since the drive source is an electric motor, there are differences in the overall system configuration, horsepower, and the like (for example, the number of motor modules differs between a four-wheel drive vehicle and a two-wheel drive vehicle), Each functional element can be basically configured by a sensor module, a display module, and a motor module as in the above-described example.
Therefore, the above-described module configuration can be applied to vehicles other than bicycles as they are.
In the configuration in which the core module and the other modules are connected in a one-to-many connection as shown in FIG. 5, the number of sensor modules and motor modules can be easily increased or decreased according to the driving system of the vehicle. Therefore, the present invention can be easily implemented by increasing or decreasing the number of modules according to the vehicle to be applied, selecting appropriate unique information for each module, and appropriately selecting software of the system. Applicable to wheeled vehicles.
[0030]
FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing an example of such a system configuration.
First, FIG. 7A shows an example of a two-wheeled vehicle of a front wheel drive type or a rear wheel drive type having one motor module.
FIG. 7B shows an example of a two-wheel drive type four-wheeled vehicle having two motor modules, and FIG. 7C shows an example of an all-wheel drive type four-wheeled vehicle having four motor modules.
With such a system, the same motor module can be used, and each vehicle can operate by changing only the application software of the core module. Of course, a configuration having more motor modules and sensor modules is also possible.
In addition, when changing to a high-output motor even with the same front-wheel drive bicycle, changing the parameters such as the torque constant in the non-volatile memory of the motor module allows the motor to be changed without changing other modules at all. It is possible.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the electric vehicle of the present invention, a control circuit and a non-volatile memory are provided for each of a plurality of functional modules each having a specific function, and based on unique information stored in the non-volatile memory of each functional module. As a result, the control circuit of each function module executes a predetermined function operation, so that the processing load of the entire system can be distributed to the control circuit of each function module.
Therefore, the processing load of the entire system does not concentrate on a specific function module, and even if the functions of the entire system become complicated and sophisticated, there is no need to perform extremely complicated and high-speed processing. There is an effect that high functionality can be realized without using a microprocessor, and the cost can be reduced as a whole.
