壁面等に埋め込み配設するコンセントとして、平型栓刃と丸ピン型栓刃の両方を接続することができるコンセントが従来提供されている(特許文献1)
ところで、この種のコンセントには、図8に示すように器体1を構成するボディ1Aとカバー1Bにおいて、ボディ1A内に設けられた収納室2、2を仕切る仕切壁3Aの端面に凸部4を一体形成し、この凸部4により収納室2、2に収納される刃受け部材5、5間の絶縁距離を長く取るものがあった。

この場合、更に絶縁性能を高めるためにボディ1Aに被着するカバー1B側の仕切壁3Bには上記凸部4が嵌め込まれる凹部6を形成していた。

また、上記の特許文献1に記載のコンセントは図10、図11に示すようにカバー1B内に、カバー1Bの天井部(前面壁)の両側に開口した栓刃挿入口7、7を両端部で塞ぐように配置された一対の扉体9、9と、両扉体9、9の各中央部90を両扉体9、9を対向する方向に弾性付勢するばね体(図示せず)と、両扉体9、9及び前記ばね体を支持する中枠(図示せず)とからなる栓刃挿入口閉鎖手段を備え、栓刃挿入時以外は充電部が栓刃挿入口7、7から露出しないようにしていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述のように絶縁性能を良くするためにボディ1Aの仕切壁3Aに凸部4を、またカバー1Bの仕切壁3Bに凹部6を形成しているコンセントでは、部品寸法ばらつきの許容範囲を大きくすると、凹部6とこの凹部6に嵌る凸部4との間に隙間ができ、栓刃と刃受け部材5との接触時に発生する金属粉(切粉)が上記隙間に入り込む恐れがあった。

そして壁面等に埋め込み配設されるコンセントの場合、凹部6が垂直方向に配置されるため、上記のような上記隙間に金属粉が入り込めば、凹部6の下端6aに溜まり、絶縁破壊の経路になる可能性があった。

一方、上述のような端子板8の配置では、仕切壁3Aを挟んで背中合わせに配置される端子板8、8同士の距離が短いため、上述のように凹部6の下端6aに金属粉が溜まる場合、短絡経路が形成され易かった。

更に丸ピン型栓刃と平型栓刃とに対応するコンセントでは、カバー1Bに設けられる栓刃挿入口7は平型栓刃挿入口7aと、仕切壁とは反対側位置において平型栓刃挿入口7aの一側縁に連通した丸ピン型栓刃挿入口7bとから形成されているが、カバー1B内に栓刃挿入口閉鎖手段を設けている場合、平型栓刃挿入口7aから挿入される栓刃の押入力を受けて各扉体9に反対向方向に移動させる力を与える栓刃受け斜面10aに臨む前記中央部90の垂立面90aが平型栓刃挿入口7aの内壁面付近に位置するため、部品寸法ばらつきによっては、両扉体9、9の中央部90、90の突き合わせ部位の隙間90bが図11に示すように平型栓刃挿入口7aを介して図10に示すように外部から見え、そのため比較的容易に隙間9bに鋭利な物を差し込むことができ、例えば隙間90bに鋭利な物を引っ掛けて扉体9を開く方向に力を加えた場合、開いてしまうことがあった。

上述の目的を達成するために、請求項1の発明では、一面開口の箱型であって、内部が底部から立ち上がった第1の仕切壁により長手方向に2分され、該仕切壁の両側に刃受け部材を含む充電部位を収納する収納室が設けられたボディと、該ボディの開口側に被着される面側が開口された箱型であって、内部が天井部から垂下した第2の仕切壁により長手方向に2分されるとともに、被着時に前記ボディ側の前記各収納室内の刃受け部材に対向する天井部に栓刃挿入口を開口しているカバーとから器体が構成されたコンセントにおいて、前記第1の仕切壁の端面に凸部を、前記第2の仕切壁に前記凸部が嵌り込む凹部を夫々形成するとともに、前記凸部及び凹部の両端方向の長さを両端が前記器体の両側の外側面に至る長さに形成していることを特徴とする。

本実施形態の構成を図1〜図5に示す。器体1は、耐トラッキング性に優れた熱硬化性合成樹脂(例えば、ユリア樹脂)を用いて前面が開口された箱体状のボディ1Aと、同じく耐トラッキング性に優れた熱硬化性合成樹脂(例えば、ユリア樹脂)を用いて後面が開口された箱体状のカバー1Bとを被着結合することにより形成されるもので、外形寸法は規定の単位寸法に基づいた寸法となっている。

ところで、カバー1Bの天井部、つまり前壁には一つのプラグに設けた一対の栓刃を挿入することができる一対の栓刃挿入口7を形成しており、各栓刃挿入口7は各刃受け部材5のばね片50、51に対応する部位にそれぞれ開口し、平板状の平型栓刃が差し込まれる平型栓刃挿入口7aと、丸ピン型栓刃が差し込まれる丸ピン型栓刃挿入口7bとを連通させた形状に形成されている。つまり、平型栓刃挿入口7aは矩形状であって、長手方向の中間部の一側縁に円状の丸ピン型栓刃挿入口7bが連通した形状になっている。また、平型栓刃挿入口7aの中心間の距離よりも、丸ピン型栓刃挿入口7bの中心間の距離の方が広くなっている。平型栓刃挿入口7aに挿入される平型栓刃はばね片50の側面とばね片51との間で挟持され、丸ピン型栓刃挿入口7bに挿入される丸ピン型栓刃は一対のばね片50の間で挟持される。尚平型栓刃挿入口7aは電圧線側と接地線側とで長さ寸法を異ならせてある。
