例えば、重量が大きく取扱いに注意が必要な物品などを人手により運搬すると、積み込み、あるいは積み降ろしの際に多大な手間を要する。そのため、このような物品を搬送する場合には、予めパレット上に搭載し、パレットごと梱包して搬送されることがある。

一方、小さいダンボール箱のように比較的軽量な物品であっても、多数個を重ねた場合に荷崩れを生じやすい物品は、パレット上に並べることにより姿勢を安定にしてから、全体をフィルムで囲繞した後にバンド掛けを行ったりしてパレットごと搬送される場合がある。

このようにパレットごとバンド掛けのような梱包作業を行う場合には、梱包作業を屋外で行ったり、あるいは周囲に広いスペースを確保した室内で行うことが求められている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、このような場所では、商用電源が近くに引かれていないことが多く、そのために、延長コードなどで電源を引き延ばなければならなかった。

しかしながら、延長コードが長いと、その延長コードを足で引っ掛けたり、あるいは、フォークリフトなどが走行中にひいてしまうなどの問題があった。

本発明は、このような実状に鑑み、梱包作業を行う場合に、近くに商用電源がない場合であっても、延長コードなどを用いずに、作業を行うことができる梱包機を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するための、本発明に係る梱包機は、
多量のバンドが巻回されたバンドリールと、
前記バンドリールから被梱包物に巻きかけられたバンドの引締め、切断、接着などを行うコントロール部を備えた梱包機本体と、を備えた梱包機であって、
前記梱包機本体の動力源として、バッテリーを搭載し、商用電源と前記バッテリーとを切替え可能に構成したことを特徴としている。

係る構成による本発明によれば、バッテリーが搭載されているので、商用電源が引かれていない場合は、バッテリーに切り替えて行うことができる。

ここで、前記梱包機本体は、キャスターにより移動可能に構成されていることが好ましい。

このような構成であれば、バッテリーを安定に設置することができるとともに、美観的に好ましくなる。また、バンド掛け作業中に、水分や草などが落下する虞にある物品を梱包する場合であっても、バッテリーが汚れてしまうことはない。したがって、清掃作業は、バッテリー表面を直接掃除しなくてもバッテリーケースを掃除すれば良いので、作業が容易になる。また、バッテリーケースが固定されていれば、その内部に収容されるバッテリーは簡単に固定するだけでよい。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、図面を参照しながら、本発明の一実施例に係る梱包機について説明する。

図１は、本発明の一実施例に係る梱包機を示したもので、特に、物品が載置されたパレットごとバンド掛けするのに好適なバンド掛け梱包機１０を示したものである。

このバンド掛け梱包機１０では、バンドの引締め、切断、接着などを行うコントロール部が略直方体形状の梱包機本体１２内に内蔵されている。そして、この梱包機本体１２は、水平方向にアングルなどで延出された装置フレーム１４の一端部に設置されている。また、装置フレーム１４の略中央部には、バッテリーケース４２が搭載され、このバッテリーケース４２内に、図示しないバッテリーが収容されている。一方、バッテリーケース４２は、開閉自在な蓋体４６を有し、蓋体４６には取っ手４４が具備されている。この蓋体４６を取っ手４４により、開くことにより、バッテリー本体を外部に取り出すことが可能にされている。

そして、このようなバッテリーケース４２の上方に、多量のバンドが巻回されたバンドリール１６が設置されている。

一方、バンド掛け梱包機１０には、一対の車輪１８と一対のキャスター２０とが具備され、さらに、後端側に立設された柱２２，２２間に水平方向のハンドル２４が差し渡されることにより、梱包機１０は、任意の場所に移動可能に構成されている。

また、梱包機本体１２の側方には、梱包機本体１２から導かれたバンドＢの先端部を側方に導き出すためのバンドウェイ２４が配置されている。なお、このバンドウェイ２４は、その先端側が延長可能に構成されている。

本実施例の梱包機１０には、電源ケーブル４０が具備され、通常は、この電源ケーブル４０により商用電源を使用することができる。

また、本実施例の梱包機１０では、商用電源の他に、図示しないバッテリーを動力源として使用することができる。商用電源からバッテリーに切り替えて使用する場合には、例えば、梱包機本体１２に設けられた切り替えスイッチ４８を切り替えば良く、これにより、適宜選択することができる。

本実施例によるバンド掛け梱包機１０は、上記のように構成されているが、以下に作用について説明する。

今、図２に示したように、パレット２６の上に重量の大きい被梱包物３０が搭載されている。そして、この被梱包物３０をパレット２６とともにバンド掛けを行うには、先ず、バンド掛け梱包機１０を移動してパレット２６に近づける。そして、バンドウェイ２４をパレット２６のフォーク挿入孔３２内に挿入する。次いで、バンドウェイ２４の先端から引き出されたバンドＢを、梱包機本体１２のバンド差込口３４内に挿入する。これにより、以後、公知のバンド掛け作業を行なうことができる。

そして、所定のバンド掛け作業が終了したら、梱包機１０をパレット２６の近傍から離反して、バンドウェイ２４をフォーク挿入孔３２から引き抜けばよい。

このように、本実施例によれば、バンド掛け作業を行う場合に、商用電源が近くにない場合にバッテリーに切り替えて、梱包作業を行うことができる。

また、商用電源が引かれている場合は、もちろん、電源ケーブル４０から商用電源を使用することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上、説明したように、本発明に係るバンド掛け梱包機によれば、駆動源として商用電源の他に、バッテリーを搭載したので、必要に応じて切り替えて使用することができる。このようにすれば、商用電源が引かれていない場所であっても、梱包作業を行うことができる。

また、バッテリーボックス内にバッテリーを収容すれば、バッテリーを現場でいちいち固定しなくても良いので設置作業が容易である。また、バッテリー自体が水などで汚れることもないので、清掃を容易に行うことができる。さらに、美観的にも好ましい。

In the banding and packing machine 10, a control unit for tightening, cutting, bonding and the like of the band is built in a packing machine body 12 having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape.
