本発明は、ECU等の車両搭載部品をインパネリインフォース等の車体側構成部材に取り付けるための車両搭載部品の取付構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来では、ECU等の電子部品を車両に搭載する場合、予め電子部品をアッセンブリ化しておき、これを個別に車体側構成部材にボルト・ナット等で固定する方法を採ってきた。

図3は、ECU等の電子部品をインパネリインフォースに固定する従来例を示したものである。この図に示されるように、従来では、ECU等の電子部品100、102は予めアッセンブリ化されて、ケース104、106に装着される。ケース104、106には、ボルト挿通孔108、110が形成されたブラケット112、114が取付けられている。

以下、図1を用いて、本発明に係る車両搭載部品の取付構造の第1実施形態について説明する。

図1には、本実施形態に係る車両搭載部品の取付構造の要部が拡大して示されている。この図に示されるように、「車体側構成部材」としてのインパネリインフォース10は、一例として階段形状を成しており、車両幅方向を長手方向としてインストルメントパネル内に配置されている。このインパネリインフォース10は、マグネシウム合金やアルミニウム合金といった軽金属材料を成形型で一体成形することにより形成されている。なお、インパネリインフォース10の成形の手法は、押出し成形の組み合わせでもよいし、鋳造でもよい。
