Abstract
Description
【0001】
【0029】
Vcmax > Vemfmax−Vb (1)
VQx1 > Vemfmax (2)
VQx2 > Vemfmax (3)
【0030】
【0031】
Vc=Vemf−Vb (4)
【0032】

When an abnormality such as opening occurs, the switching element of the upper arm or the lower arm of the inverter that drives the permanent magnet type synchronous motor for driving the vehicle is turned on collectively to output a zero voltage vector, or After the smoothing capacitor and the inverter section are separated by the switching means provided on the DC input side, the power supply from the synchronous motor is stopped by, for example, shorting the DC terminals on the inverter input side by the second switching means. However, an example has been proposed in which excessive voltage is prevented from being applied to the smoothing capacitor (for example, see Patent Document 1). .

[0005]
FIG. 2 of Patent Document 1 shows the former example, in which the switching elements of the upper arm are turned on collectively, and the direction of each phase current flowing to the input terminal of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor. Are indicated by arrows. In this case, a short circuit is formed by the transistor and the diode. By turning on all the switching elements of the upper arm in this way, a short circuit can be formed regardless of the direction of the three-phase current. The same effect can be obtained even if all the switching elements of the lower arm are turned on.
[0006]
FIG. 3 of Patent Document 1 shows the latter example, in which switching means for disconnecting the switching unit of the inverter and the smoothing capacitor and switching means for short-circuiting the input side of the inverter are added. ing. The current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor can be short-circuited through the diode of the inverter by disconnecting the smoothing capacitor from the inverter by the opening and closing means and then short-circuiting the input side of the inverter by the opening and closing means.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In an automotive power device using a permanent magnet type synchronous motor as described in Patent Document 1, field weakening operation is required in a high speed region above a certain number of revolutions, which complicates control. Above, the loss due to the field weakening current is large, and in order to prevent the voltage exceeding the allowable voltage from being applied to the smoothing capacitor, the zero voltage vector is being output and the DC terminal on the inverter input side is short-circuited. In addition, there is a problem that a short circuit is formed by the transistor and the diode, all the power generated by the permanent magnet type synchronous motor is lost, and the battery cannot be charged during the short circuit structure.
[0008]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and does not require field-weakening operation even at a high rotation speed, and can continuously charge a battery regardless of the rotation speed of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electric power device for an automobile which can reduce the loss due to the weak field current and improve the fuel efficiency.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to an electric power device for an automobile for starting, accelerating, and generating electric power of an engine of an automobile. The electric power device drives the engine at the time of starting and accelerating the engine, and receives the power of the engine at the time of steady running and deceleration. A synchronous motor for generating electric power by the synchronous motor; an inverter for driving the synchronous motor when the engine of the synchronous motor is driven, and performing a rectifying operation when the synchronous motor generates electric power; and an synchronous motor connected to an input terminal of the inverter, A DC power supply to the inverter when the engine is driven, and a power supply that is charged by the power generated by the synchronous motor when the synchronous motor generates power. The power supply includes a first energy storage source and a second power storage. A series-connected power supply in which energy storage sources are connected in series with each other; the first energy storage source and the second energy storage source; A DC / DC converter for transporting energy between energy storage sources, and during a period in which the synchronous motor's rotation speed exceeds a predetermined rotation speed during power generation of the synchronous motor, an input terminal of the synchronous motor or its input terminal. By repeatedly performing a short circuit on the input side of the inverter connected to the input terminal and releasing the short circuit at a predetermined time interval, stopping and supplying power from the synchronous motor to the series connected power supply via the inverter is performed. The operation is repeatedly performed at the predetermined time interval. When the power supply is stopped, the DC / DC converter connects the second energy storage source to the first energy storage source or the first energy storage source. Transfer energy to the load.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Embodiment 1 FIG.
FIG. 1 is a circuit diagram showing a configuration of a vehicle power device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, an inverter 1 is a three-phase inverter device for driving an M / G (motor / generator) 20 or rectifying an output of the M /

[0013]
First, a conventional operation of the circuit shown in FIG. 1 when starting or generating an electric vehicle will be described. When restarting the engine after an idle stop (including when the motor has sufficient starting torque and sufficient mechanical capacity for torque transmission, including initial startup with low engine temperature) and torque assist during acceleration, large It is necessary to supply current to the motor, and for this purpose, it is necessary to supply a large current from the battery to the inverter input. For this reason, in an electric vehicle, it is necessary to mount a large-capacity battery in accordance with a required starting torque, and the battery is expensive. On the other hand, in the inverter, the steady loss can be considered to be approximately proportional to the output current (when an IGBT is used for the switching element) or approximately squared (when a MOSFET is used for the switching element). In order to reduce the size and cost of inverters, it is necessary to reduce the output current of the inverter and increase the input voltage, because the switching elements (power semiconductor elements) constituting the inverter need to be increased in capacity and multi-parallel. It has been demanded.
[0014]
A conventional method for solving these problems is proposed in JP-A-2002-218667. In this publication, the time required for restarting after an idle stop is as short as about 1 second or less, and about 10 seconds including the torque assist by the motor during acceleration. As shown in the circuit of FIG. 1, a low-voltage battery such as an existing 12V battery and a large-capacity capacitor are connected in series. By supplying energy from the capacitor to the inverter, the current supplied from the battery can be reduced, and the battery can be reduced in size and cost by reducing the voltage and capacity of the battery, or the life can be extended by reducing the instantaneous draw current. I expect. In addition, since the input voltage of the inverter can be increased by increasing the capacitor voltage, the output current can be reduced with the same output power.

The idea of configuring this three-phase short circuit is also described in Patent Document 1 described above. According to the gazette, when the permanent magnet type synchronous motor rotates at a certain high speed or higher, the permanent magnet type synchronous motor performs weak field operation so that the charging voltage of the smoothing capacitor does not exceed its rated voltage. An idea to configure a three-phase short circuit as a means for preventing excessive voltage from being applied to the smoothing capacitor when an abnormality occurs during operation is proposed. In this publication, the battery side circuit is not configured as shown in FIG. 1 according to the present embodiment, but the battery is directly connected to the input side of the inverter, and the battery cannot be charged during the configuration of the three-phase short circuit. It is.

However, in the present embodiment, in the circuit of FIG. 1, after the period of FIG. 2A, a three-phase short circuit is formed, and the DC /

Further, even in a driving state in which the weakening field operation becomes impossible due to the limitation of the rated current of the inverter 1 and the three-phase short circuit must be continuously formed, the three-phase short circuit and its release can be achieved by using the present embodiment.
