Abstract
Description
【0001】

In order to achieve the above object, an induction heating device according to the present invention includes, in an inverter circuit, a heating coil current detection unit that detects a current flowing through a heating coil, and a control unit that drives first and second semiconductor switching elements. An operation unit that outputs a power command value to the control unit, wherein the control unit compares the heating coil current detection unit with a drive signal of the first and second semiconductor switching elements based on a signal from the operation unit. When the output signal of the heating coil current detecting means is smaller than a predetermined value at the time of outputting a predetermined drive signal, it is determined that the heating coil is not connected and the operation of the inverter circuit is stopped.
[0010]
Thus, by using the heating coil current detection means originally configured for power control of the inverter circuit, the unconnected state of the heating coil can be reliably detected at low cost and low cost and control by sharing parts. And an induction heating device for safely stopping the inverter circuit.
