Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the electric hydraulic crimping tool, the
[0006]
For this reason, the conventional electric hydraulic crimping tool uses the pressure control valve 11 that performs a mechanical operation with a delicate balance, and thus has a problem that the possibility of failure or malfunction increases. This problem is not limited to the electric hydraulic pressure crimping tool for performing the crimping operation, but also applies to other electric hydraulic pressure pressing tools for performing cutting and other operations by pressing the pressed member.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in order to cope with such a situation, and detects or estimates the oil pressure by using a pressure sensor or the like and stops the operation of the hydraulic pump. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electric hydraulic pressing tool capable of preventing an increase in hydraulic pressure.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first aspect of the present invention is an electric hydraulic pressing tool for pressing a member to be pressed by the hydraulic pressure of oil sent from a hydraulic pump operated by a motor, a pressure sensor for detecting the oil pressure of the oil sent from the hydraulic pump, and the pressure sensor. And pressing stop means for stopping the motor when the detected oil pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure.
[0009]
According to the first aspect of the invention, when the hydraulic pressure detected by the pressure sensor exceeds a predetermined pressure, the motor is stopped and the hydraulic pump does not operate. Also, it is possible to prevent the oil pressure from rising more than necessary due to the continued operation of the hydraulic pump. Therefore, it is possible to control the hydraulic pressure after the work is completed without using a pressure control valve that performs a mechanical operation with a delicate balance, thereby eliminating failures and malfunctions caused by the pressure control valve. Will be able to do it. Further, since the hydraulic pump is controlled by comparing the oil pressure detected by the pressure sensor with a predetermined pressure, even when the working conditions are changed, for example, the bolt of the pressure control valve is rotated to adjust the pressing force of the spring. This predetermined pressure can be easily, accurately, and reproducibly switched without performing such troublesome and inaccurate work.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an electric hydraulic pressing tool for pressing a member to be pressed by the hydraulic pressure of oil sent from a hydraulic pump operated by a motor, a current detecting means for detecting a drive current supplied to the motor, and the current detecting means. And pressing stop means for stopping the motor when the detected driving current exceeds a predetermined current value.
[0011]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the drive current detected by the current detection means exceeds a predetermined current value, the motor is stopped and the hydraulic pump does not operate. Here, in the DC motor, the drive current and the output torque have a substantially linear proportional relationship, and many other motors also have the same correlation. Therefore, if the drive current exceeds a predetermined current value, the hydraulic pressure is also reduced. It can be estimated that the predetermined pressure has been exceeded. For this reason, the hydraulic pump continues to operate even after the work is completed with a sufficient pressing force obtained by the hydraulic pressure, so that it is possible to prevent the hydraulic pressure from rising more than necessary. It is possible to control the oil pressure after the operation is completed without using a pressure control valve that performs an operation, and it is possible to eliminate failures and malfunctions caused by the pressure control valve. Further, since the hydraulic pump is controlled by comparing the drive current detected by the current detecting means with a predetermined current value, even when the working conditions are changed, for example, by rotating the bolt of the pressure control valve and pressing the spring. This predetermined current value can be easily and accurately switched with good reproducibility without performing a troublesome and inaccurate operation such as adjusting. Moreover, it is not necessary to dispose the pressure sensor in the hydraulic circuit as in the case of the first aspect, and the present invention can be easily implemented only by modifying the electric circuit.
[0012]
In the first and second aspects, it is easiest for the pressing stop means to stop the motor by interrupting the drive current, which also suppresses wasteful power consumption. In particular, when a pressure control valve was used, the motor continued to drive and wasted power unless the operator cut off the drive current by operation. In addition to contributing to battery life, it also reduces battery consumption in the case of a cordless type electric hydraulic pressing tool. However, in order for the pressing stop means to stop the motor in the first and second aspects, it is possible to mechanically stop the operation of the motor by a braking device or the like. You may use together with this braking device.
