TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to connection of a cable such as a wire harness to an electric device such as an automobile, and more particularly to a shield of a shield tube formed of a braided wire which is sheathed on at least one cable and shields electromagnetic waves such as noise generated from the cable. Regarding the connection structure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, the pressure and speed of electric signals in on-vehicle systems such as electric devices of automobiles such as car navigation systems have been increasing, and the need for EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) shielding has been increasing. For such an EMI shield, it is preferable to use a single-core or multi-core shielded cable having a shield structure. However, since this shielded cable has a structure completely shielded from one end to the other end of the cable. Shielding is good, but it is also used when it is necessary to partially shield the cable, such as only the connection between electrical equipment. If multiple shielded cables are bundled and made into a harness, the wire harness will have a large diameter. And the workability of the shield connection with the connector is poor.
[Prior art]
For this reason, a normal cable is used without using a shielded cable, and a post-installed type conductive shield tube is sheathed in the portion so that only a necessary portion of the cable can be shielded. I have. The shield connection with the connector is, for example, in the case of a shield tube made of a braided wire, usually, a shield tube end portion is put on the outer conductor shell for shielding of the connector, and the portion is formed by a metal fastening member such as a ring or a band. The shield tube is fixed and the shield is connected by caulking or crimping.
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2002-281654 A [Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
However, the shield connection work by crimping or crimping of the shield tube by such a fastening member is to cover the outer conductor shell with the end portion of the shield tube, attach the fastening member to that portion, and then use a tool such as a caulking jig. It is necessary to improve the workability of shield connection with the connector and reduce the processing cost, such as caulking and crimping using tools and equipment, which requires a lot of man-hours and high equipment cost for crimping. I have.
[0004]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a shield connection structure capable of performing shield connection between a shield tube made of a braided wire and an outer conductor shell of a shield connector without crimping or crimping.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve this problem, a shield connection structure according to the present invention is a shield connection structure between a terminal portion of a shield tube made of a braided wire sheathed on a signal cable and an outer conductor shell of the shield connector. A terminal portion of a shield tube sheathed on the signal cable is covered on a rear portion of the dielectric housed and fixed in the shell, and a front end portion of a portion where the shield tube is covered between the rear portion and the dielectric material. A fixture that can be fixed in a state where the remaining portion is sandwiched is mounted, and an inverted portion is formed by further inverting the remaining shield tube front end portion on the fixture, and the dielectric in this state is removed. When the outer conductor shell is pushed into the outer conductor shell, it is brought into contact with the rear inner wall surface of the outer conductor shell by fitting of the reversing portion. Sealed tube is intended to subject matter to be electrically connected to the outer conductor shell.
[0006]
According to the shield connection structure having the above configuration, the terminal portion of the shield tube sheathed on the signal cable is put on the rear part of the dielectric housed and fixed in the outer conductor shell of the shield connector, and between the rear part of the dielectric and the dielectric tube. Attach a fixture that can be fixed while sandwiching the part that left the front end of the part covered by the shield tube, and form a reversing part where the remaining shield tube front end is further inverted on the fixture When the dielectric in this state is pushed into and accommodated in the outer conductor shell, the shield tube is conductively connected to the outer conductor shell by the contact of the inverted portion fitted into the rear inner wall surface of the outer conductor shell. Caulking and crimping the shield connection between the shield tube made of a retrofitted braided wire and the outer conductor shell of the shield connector It is possible to carry out without depending improves workability of the connection, is also reduced equipment cost such as conventionally required is a crimping machine.
[0007]
In this case, if the fixing tool is constituted by a two-piece body attached from the two outside directions of the rear part of the dielectric, mounting and fixing becomes easy, and if the two-piece body of the same shape is used, the parts It also reduces points. Further, a protrusion protruding outward is formed in a portion of the rear part of the dielectric where the fixing tool is mounted, and an insertion hole through which the protrusion is inserted is formed in the fixing tool. According to this structure, the shield tube is securely locked by the protrusions and the insertion holes, so that the prevention of detachment by pulling or the like is enhanced.
[0008]
Furthermore, if the notch part opened rearward is formed in the rear part of the outer conductor shell into which the inversion part is fitted, the notch serves as a relief allowance when the inversion part is fitted. Therefore, the pushing force at the time of fitting is reduced, so that the workability is improved and the reversal portion is prevented from being damaged due to excessive pushing. If the rear end portion of the dielectric is formed with a flange portion that is in contact with the rear end surface of the outer conductor shell, it is also possible to position a push for shield connection by fitting an inversion portion. Above, an excessive pushing is prevented.
[0009]
