本発明は、記録媒体である光ディスクに記録された情報を再生する光ディスク再生装置に関し、特に、再生画像における登場人物の音声の内容を表示する字幕も含む編集情報が記録されたＤＶＤを再生する際の字幕を切換える機能を有する光ディスク再生装置に関する。
