Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above-mentioned conventional induction heating cooker, the variable range of the duty is limited to 0% to 50% or 50% to 100%, considering that the maximum power is obtained when the duty is 0.5. For this reason, the variable range of the duty is 50% at the maximum, and there is a problem that the maximum electric power of the original induction heating cooker cannot be extracted. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and has as its object to expand the control range of output power and increase the maximum power.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An induction heating cooker according to the present invention includes a rectifier circuit for converting an alternating current into a direct current, a first switching element connected to the high potential side of the direct current output from the rectifier circuit, and a direct current output from the rectifier circuit. Calculating a second switching element connected in series with the first switching element on the low potential side; a load circuit having a heating coil and a resonance capacitor connected in parallel to the second switching element; and calculating input power. A control circuit; and an inverter drive circuit for generating a drive signal for changing a duty of the first switching element and the second switching element based on the calculated input power, wherein the inverter drive circuit includes a first switching element. Can be set to a value exceeding 50%.

If the calculated input power is less than or equal to the input power set value, it is determined whether the duty of the
[0014]
Here, α is a positive set value set near the duty at which the output power is maximized, and is, for example, about 10% (see FIG. 2). The set value α is a constant that is normally determined so that the maximum power can be obtained for the reference load, but may be set or selected as appropriate according to the type and size of the load.
[0015]
In S9, when the duty is equal to or greater than the maximum on-duty, the duty is reduced to the maximum on-duty. 1) Even if the duty is used beyond the maximum on-duty, only the input power is reduced and there is no control. This means that there are two on-duties corresponding to the command power (input power set value), so that feedback control of the input power is prevented from becoming unstable.
[0016]
When the maximum on-duty is extended to a region exceeding 50% by the above method, the controllable range of the power is widened, and the original maximum power of the induction heating cooker can be extracted. In addition, since there is a margin in the generated power with respect to the conventional electromagnetic induction heating cooker designed with a duty of less than 50%, the required power can be generated even if the number of coil turns is increased with respect to the design specification. By increasing the number of turns of the coil, the circuit current can be reduced, and effects such as a reduction in switching loss, a reduction in heat generation in the circuit, and an improvement in heating efficiency can be obtained.
