製氷部で生成された氷を貯氷室で貯留する製氷機においては、例えば図5に示されるような貯氷検知スイッチが貯氷室内に設置されている。この貯氷検知スイッチは、貯氷室内の氷レベルを検知して製氷機の運転を停止させるためのものであり、貯氷室の壁面等に固定されるスイッチケース1の貯氷室側にスイッチレバー2が回動中心3の回りに回動自在に取り付けられている(例えば特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、図6に示す従来の貯氷検知スイッチでは、マグネットレバー6がリードスイッチ保持部4の角部に当接することで回動するため、スイッチレバー2がスイッチケース1側へ押圧されたときのリードスイッチ5とマグネット7との間隔の変化量が小さく、リードスイッチ5の感度のバラツキによっては正確なON/OFF動作を行うことができなくなる虞があった。例えば、図6(d)に示されるようにスイッチレバー2がスイッチケース1に当接するまで押圧された状態でもリードスイッチ5がOFFしなかったり、スイッチレバー2が図6(a)に示されるように押圧されない状態に戻ってもリードスイッチ5がONしないと、製氷機としての動作の信頼性が低下してしまう。
この発明はこのような問題点を解消するためになされたもので、氷レベルに応じて正確なON/OFF動作を行うことができる貯氷検知スイッチを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明に係る貯氷検知スイッチは、リードスイッチを備えたスイッチケースを製氷機の貯氷室内に固定すると共にこのスイッチケースにマグネットを有するスイッチレバーを移動自在に取り付け、貯氷室内の氷によりスイッチレバーが押圧されたときにリードスイッチとマグネットとの間隔の変化に応じて貯氷室内の氷レベルを検知する貯氷検知スイッチにおいて、スイッチレバーに回動自在に取り付けられると共にスイッチレバーが押圧されないときにリードスイッチの近傍に位置するようにマグネットを保持するマグネットレバーと、マグネットレバーの回動中心とリードスイッチとの間に位置するようにスイッチケースに形成された凸部とを備え、スイッチレバーが押圧されたときにマグネットレバーが凸部に当接して回動することによりマグネットをリードスイッチから離間させるものである。
なお、スイッチレバーの上端をスイッチケースに回動自在に取り付け、氷によって押圧されないときにスイッチレバーの下端が自重によりスイッチケースから離れるような傾斜角でスイッチケースを貯氷室内の側壁に固定することもできる。
また、好ましくは、マグネットレバーは、その一端を中心として回動し、他端にマグネットを保持し、中間部がリブに当接する。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。
実施の形態1.
図1にこの発明の実施の形態1に係る貯氷検知スイッチが取り付けられた製氷機を示す。直方体形状の製氷機本体11の上部に製氷部12が配置され、製氷部12の下方に貯氷室13が形成されている。貯氷室13の前方には開閉扉14が設けられ、この開閉扉14を開いて貯氷室13内の氷を取り出すことができる。また、貯氷室13の下部には冷凍回路を形成する圧縮機等を収容する機械室15が配置されている。

製氷部12で生成された氷は順次貯氷室13に貯留されるが、貯氷室13の内壁面に貯氷検知スイッチ16が取り付けられており、貯氷室13内の氷レベルが上昇して貯氷検知スイッチ16にまで達すると、貯氷検知スイッチ16から貯氷検知信号が出力されて製氷運転が停止されるように構成されている。

貯氷検知スイッチ16は、図2(a)に示されるように、貯氷室13の内壁面に固定されるスイッチケース17にスイッチレバー18が回動中心19の回りに回動自在に取り付けられている。スイッチケース17にはリードスイッチ保持部20がスイッチレバー18の方向に突出形成され、このリードスイッチ保持部20内にリードスイッチ21が埋設されている。スイッチレバー18の裏面すなわちスイッチケース17側にマグネットレバー22が配置されている。マグネットレバー22は、その一端が回動中心23の回りに回動自在に取り付けられ、他端にマグネット24を保持している。さらに、スイッチケース17には、リードスイッチ保持部20とスイッチレバー18のマグネットレバー22の回動中心23との間にこの発明の凸部となるリブ25が突出形成されている。

このように、マグネットレバー22の中間部がリブ25の先端部に当接した状態でマグネットレバー22の一端がスイッチレバー18と共にスイッチケース17側へ移動するため、マグネットレバー22の他端に保持されているマグネット24はリードスイッチ21からの離間が急速に進められることとなる。そして、図2(d)に示されるようにスイッチレバー18の端部18aがスイッチケース17の内面に当接したところで、スイッチレバー18の回動動作が終了し、このときリードスイッチ21とマグネット24との間隔は最大となる。

スイッチレバー18の回動動作に伴うリードスイッチ21とマグネット24との間隔の変化に起因してリードスイッチ21がOFF状態となり、貯氷検知信号を出力する。この貯氷検知信号に基づいて製氷機の製氷運転が停止される。その後、開閉扉14を開いて貯氷室13内の氷を消費することにより、貯氷室13内の氷レベルが低下してリードスイッチ21からの貯氷検知信号が解除されると、製氷運転が再開される。

図4(a)にこの発明の実施の形態2に係る貯氷検知スイッチを示す。この貯氷検知スイッチは、図2に示した実施の形態1の貯氷検知スイッチ16において、スイッチケース17の代わりに、貯氷室13の内部に向かって前傾するように貯氷室13の側壁に固定されたスイッチケース27を用いたものであり、他の構造は実施の形態1の貯氷検知スイッチ16とほぼ同様である。すなわち、スイッチケース27にスイッチレバー18が回動中心19の回りに回動自在に取り付けられると共に、スイッチケース27にリードスイッチ保持部28がスイッチレバー18の方向に突出形成され、このリードスイッチ保持部28内にリードスイッチ21が埋設されている。スイッチレバー18の裏面には、一端が回動中心23の回りに回動自在に取り付けられ、他端にマグネット24を保持するマグネットレバー22が配置されている。さらに、スイッチケース27には、リードスイッチ保持部28とスイッチレバー18のマグネットレバー22の回動中心23との間に凸部29が突出形成されている。

以上説明したように、この発明によれば、マグネットレバーの回動中心とリードスイッチとの間に凸部を形成し、スイッチレバーが押圧されたときにマグネットレバーが凸部に当接して回動することによりマグネットをリードスイッチから離間させるようにしたので、リードスイッチとマグネットとの間隔が増大され、氷レベルに応じて正確なON/OFF動作を行うことが可能となる。
