以上の課題を達成するために、住宅の屋根の軒樋のようにビニールハウスに集水樋を設置した。すなわち、ビニールハウスの構造パイプに集水樋の支持具を取り付け、そこに集水樋を設置することで、降雨時の雨水を効率よく集水することができるようになった。

また、集水樋の支持具は、ビニールハウスの構造パイプを覆いシートの上からはさみ込むようにして固定し、そこに集水樋を設置し、又、移動、撤去する時は、支持具を緩めて取り外す。この方法により、簡単に着脱できるようになった。

以上説明したビニールハウスの雨水集水装置により、表面積の大きなビニールハウスのため、降雨時に多量の雨水を集水することが可能になり、又、少雨の時も無駄なく集水することができるので、雨水を有効に活用できる。又、集水装置を簡単に着脱できるので、ビニールハウスの移動や修繕時にも対応できる。
新設のビニールハウスのみならず、既設のビニールハウスにも簡単に取り付けが可能なので、多くのビニールハウスで利用することにより、多量の雨水の有効利用ができる。
