本発明は、PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)、PHS(Personal Handyphone System)、PC(Personal Computer )、ハンドヘルドPC(handheld Personal Computer)、その他の情報携帯端末等、周囲の明るさを検出する光センサを備える情報処理装置に関し、特に、筐体内に設置された光センサに対応した外光の取込み構造に関する。
【0002】

【0041】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in order to maintain the functions and operability of the mobile phone and to maintain the light receiving property of the optical sensor, as shown in FIG. In this case, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, the adhesive 26 may be attached between the inner wall of the front housing 14 and the light incident panel 10. As shown in FIG. 4, for example, a method of applying and adhering, a hook portion 28 is formed on a part of the light incident panel 10, and a projection 30 for locking the hook portion 28 is formed on the light incident window 8. There is a method in which the light-entering panel 10 is fitted to the light-entering window 8, and the hook 28 is engaged with the protrusion 30 of the front housing 14.
[0010]
However, in the case of adhesion, an application operation of the adhesive 26 is required, and the adhesive 26 may adhere to a portion where the adhesive 26 should not be applied, such as a light receiving surface. If the adhesion amount of the adhesive 26 is insufficient, a gap is formed between the light incident panel 10 and the light incident window 8, and water or dust may enter the front housing 14 from the gap, There are inconveniences such as the light incident panel 10 falling off.
[0011]
Further, in the case of fitting, it is necessary to form the hook portion 28 by resin molding of the front housing 14, and such locking of the hook portion 28 and the projection 30 increases the number of assembly steps, and furthermore It is necessary to adjust the fitting between the light incident panel 10 and the light incident window 8. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, when the gap 32 generated between the light incident panel 10 and the light incident window 8 is left, water or dust may enter the front housing 14 from the gap 32. In order to remove the gap 32, for example, it is necessary to fill an adhesive or the like. As described above, the use of an adhesive requires an application operation, and the adhesive may adhere to a portion where the adhesive should not be applied, such as a light receiving surface. If the adhesive is not sufficiently adhered, water or dust may enter the front housing 14 from the gap 32 between the light incident panel 10 and the light incident window 8, or the light incident panel 10 may fall off. There is a risk of.
[0012]
Further, in the front case 14 in which the light entrance window 8 is opened at the upper edge, the light entrance window 8 causes a decrease in strength, and the presence of the light entrance window 8 increases the strength of the front case 14. There is also an inconvenience of preventing formation of ribs, hooks for fitting the front housing 14 and the rear housing 16 and the like.
[0013]
In addition, since the light incident panel 10 which is a separate component from the front case 14 is used, there have been pointed out inconveniences such as the light incident panel 10 falling off or missing during manufacturing, and a decrease in the strength of the case 12, and the like. It has been pointed out that the installation of the light incident panel 10 hinders the degree of freedom in case design.
