[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-B-64-5754 [0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above-described press-connecting connector, the press-connecting terminal fitting 3 is held in a state where the press-connecting terminal fitting 3 is exposed inside the wire guide groove provided in the housing 2, and the wire 4 connected to the press-connecting terminal fitting 3 by pressing is held in the wire guide groove of the housing 2. Pressed connection in the state of being pressed. Therefore, the electric wire itself is held by the housing 2, but the press-connecting blade of the press-connecting terminal fitting is protruded from the outer surface of the press-connecting connector, and the insulation coating of the wire is cut out by the press-connecting blade outside the press-connecting connector. In the case of connection, there is no means for holding the electric wire. For this reason, it is necessary to press-connect while holding both sides of the press-connecting portion with a worker or a jig, which requires a lot of labor and increases the size of the apparatus when the jig is used.
Further, when the electric wire connected to the press-connecting terminal of the press-connecting connector is a shielded wire, it is necessary to establish the ground connection of the shield layer of the shielded wire. Usually, the wire connected to the shield layer is connected to the ground joint connector. There are also problems such as an increase in the number of work steps and the number of parts.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problem, and when a press-connecting terminal that is locked to a press-connector and a wire that is wired at a position distant from the press-connector and that is not held by the press-connector are press-connected, The first problem is to be able to hold the pressure before the pressure connection. A second object is to make it possible to easily connect the shield layer to the ground when the electric wire is a shielded electric wire.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention includes a press contact terminal for exposing a core wire by peeling an outer insulating coating layer (sheath) and a shield layer of a shielded wire to expose a core wire and press-connecting the core wire to the core wire. A crimping connector,
A press-contact blade of the press-contact terminal, which is inserted and locked in the connector housing, protrudes outward from the connector housing, and a shield wire pressing member that covers the end surface of the connector housing in a state where the press-contact blade is penetrated is provided. On both sides of the shield wire holding member, a wire holding portion for holding both sides sandwiching the intermediate stripped portion of the shielded wire from upper and lower sides is provided, and a core wire of the intermediate stripped portion of the shielded wire held by the both-side wire holding portion is provided. A press-connecting connector, characterized in that the press-connecting blade of the press-connecting terminal is connected to the press-connecting terminal and a protective case is put on the press-connecting connection portion and the wire holding portions on both sides.
[0007]
With the above configuration, both sides of the press-connecting portion are held by the wire holding portion by the shielded wire pressing member attached to the press-connecting connector, so that there is no need for an operator to hold the wire by hand or to press the wire with a jig. Also, the intermediate stripped portion of the shielded wire can be held without loosening, and the press-connecting blade of the press-connecting terminal can be accurately cut into the insulating coating of the core wire to press-connect the core wire and the press-connecting blade.
[0008]
Further, the shield wire holding member is formed of a conductive metal material, and the wire holding portions protrude forward from both left and right sides of the front surface of the board portion which covers the press contact terminal protruding surface of the connector housing. A mounting portion for sandwiching both side surfaces of the connector housing is protruded rearward from both left and right sides of a rear surface, and a ground terminal portion is protruded from the mounting portion,
In the intermediate stripped portion of the shielded wire, a shield layer exposed portion on both sides of the exposed portion of the core wire is provided, and the shield layer is sandwiched by the wire holding portion of the shielded wire holding member,
When the mounting portion of the shielded wire holding member is inserted together with the connector housing into the press-fitting connector housing portion of the electrical device, the ground terminal portion is electrically connected to a conductive material of a ground circuit in the electrical device, and the shielded wire is Is connected to the ground circuit of the electric device, and the ground connection of the shield layer is performed.
[0009]
With the above configuration, the wire holding portion of the shielded wire pressing member having conductivity can electrically connect the shield layer by contacting and holding the shield layer, and protrude rearward from the shielded wire pressing member to be inside the connector accommodating portion of the electric device. The ground terminal at the tip of the mounting part to be inserted is connected to the conductive material of the ground circuit in the electrical equipment, so the ground connection of the shield layer is also provided by the wire holding part provided for holding the wire during pressure welding work. Easy to do.
The board portion of the shielded wire pressing member attached to the terminal receiving surface of the press-connecting connector is not limited to a flat plate that covers the entire terminal receiving surface. And / or only the lower frame.
[0010]
The shielded electric wire is preferably used as a CAN cable of an in-vehicle LAN system, and the electric device is preferably an electronic control component connected to the CAN cable.
Since a shielded wire is often used as the CAN cable, if the grounding of the shield layer of the shielded wire can be performed simultaneously by the press-connecting connector attached to the electronic control component, the ground wire connected to the shield layer and the ground It is not necessary to provide a ground joint connector to which the electric wire is connected.
[0011]
