Abstract
Description
【0001】

例えば、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)などを用いても同様の効果を得ることができる。
【0058】
【0066】
ε=sin−1{(1/n1)sinκ}
γ=θ−ε
β=sin−1{(n1/ncore)sinγ}
α=2θ−β
【0068】
ncore=1.62
nclad=1.593
θ=45°
【0069】
β=γ=10.5°
ε=34.5°
κ=66.5°
【0075】
ε=sin−1{(1/n1)sinκ}
γ=θ−ε
β=sin−1{(n1/ncore)sinγ}
α=2θ−β
【0076】
ncore=1.62
nclad=1.593
θ=45°
n1=1.735 >ncore
【0077】
β=10.5°
γ=9.79
ε=35.2°
κ>90°

[0011]
It is another object of the present invention to provide an improved concavo-convex pattern detection device that can efficiently and uniformly irradiate light from a light source to a subject measurement unit.
[0012]
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved concavo-convex pattern detection device capable of suppressing the influence of external light.
[0013]
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a portable device provided with such an uneven pattern detecting device.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to a first aspect of the present invention is directed to a surface including an object measurement unit for measuring an object having a concavo-convex pattern, and the other surface facing the one surface, on which a light source and an imaging element are mounted. The present invention relates to an uneven pattern detection device having an optical plate having a surface having In the thickness portion of the optical plate, the optical axis faces the object measuring section and the light source, and the light incident end surface is exposed on the other surface of the optical plate, and the light emitting end surface is the object. A light-introducing fiber array in which fibers are bundled is embedded so as to be exposed to the measurement section. Further, in the thickness portion of the optical plate, the optical axis faces the object measurement section and the imaging device, and the light incident end face is in close contact with the side surface of the light introducing fiber array, and the light emitting end face is further. A detection fiber array in which fibers are bundled is embedded so as to be exposed on the other surface. Further, a light source is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light incident end face of the light introducing fiber array. Further, an image sensor is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light emitting end surface of the detection fiber array.
[0015]
According to the present invention, since the light emitting end face of the light introducing fiber array has a structure that is exposed to the subject measuring section, the optical path from the light source to the subject measuring section does not cross the detecting fiber array. Therefore, the light from the light source reaches the subject measurement unit without being scattered by the detection fiber array.
[0016]
Further, even when the light-absorbing material is included in the detecting fiber array, the light from the light source is not attenuated by the detecting fiber array because the light path does not cross the light-absorbing material. Reach the measuring section. As a result, the efficiency of using light from the light source is improved.
[0017]
In addition, since the light source and the image sensor are mounted on the other surface of the flat optical plate, the device can be flattened, and the thickness can be easily reduced.
[0018]
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the refractive index of the first core of the fiber constituting the light introducing fiber array is made larger than the refractive index of the second core of the fiber constituting the detecting fiber array. ing. More specifically, the difference between the refractive index of the first core and the refractive index of the second core is such that all external light incident on the first core in the subject measurement section is It is chosen not to propagate within.
[0019]
By selecting the difference between the refractive index of the first core and the refractive index of the second core in this manner, external light that enters the optical plate from the one surface does not propagate through the detection fiber array. Therefore, the outside light is prevented from propagating through the detection fiber array, and the influence of the outside light on the image quality is reduced.
[0020]
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the inclination angle of the light-introducing fiber array is such that light that exits from the light source, passes through the light-introducing fiber array, and travels toward the subject measurement unit, The light is selected to be totally reflected at the light emitting end face of the array. Further, the inclination angle of the detection fiber array is selected such that the light totally reflected at the light emitting end face propagates through the detection fiber array.
[0021]
With this configuration, a total reflection type concavo-convex pattern detection device described later is provided.
[0022]
As a modification of the present invention, the inclination angle of the light-introducing fiber array is such that light emitted from the light source and passing through the light-introducing fiber array toward the object measurement section is the light of the light-introducing fiber array. The angle is selected to be smaller than the critical angle for total reflection at the light emitting end face so as not to cause total reflection at the emitting end face. Furthermore, the inclination angle of the detection fiber array is selected such that light scattered at an angle larger than the total reflection critical angle at the light exit end face of the light introduction fiber array propagates through the detection fiber array. ing.
[0023]
With such a configuration, a scattering type uneven pattern detection device described later is obtained.
[0024]
The invention according to a second aspect of the present invention is directed to a surface including an object measurement unit for measuring an object having a concavo-convex pattern, and a surface opposite to the one surface, on which a light source and an imaging element are mounted. The present invention relates to an uneven pattern detection device provided with an optical plate having a surface having a surface. The thickness of the optical plate extends so as to connect the object measurement section and the light source, and the light incident end face is exposed on the other surface of the optical plate, and the light emission end face is further connected to the object measurement section. A transparent member having a higher refractive index than the optical plate for sending light from the light source to the subject measurement unit is embedded so as to be exposed to the unit. Further, in the thickness portion of the optical plate, the optical axis faces the object measurement section and the imaging device, and the light incident end face is in close contact with the side surface of the transparent member, and the light output end face is the optical plate. A detection fiber array formed by bundling fibers is embedded so as to be exposed on the other surface. Further, a light source is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light incident end surface of the transparent member. Further, an image sensor is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light emitting end surface of the detection fiber array.
[0025]
According to the present invention, since the light-emitting end face of the transparent member is exposed to the subject measuring section, the optical path from the light source to the subject measuring section does not cross the detection fiber array. Therefore, the light from the light source reaches the subject measurement unit without being scattered by the detection fiber array.
[0026]
Further, even when the detection fiber array includes a light absorber, the light path does not cross the detection fiber array, so that the light from the light source is not attenuated at all, and the object measurement unit is not affected. To reach. As a result, the efficiency of using light from the light source is improved.
[0027]
In addition, since the optical path from the light source to the subject measurement unit is formed of a transparent member instead of a fiber array, light irradiated to the subject measurement unit and returned from the subject measurement unit passes through the transparent member. To the light incident end face of the detection fiber array. That is, there is no fiber crossing the optical path in the optical path from the subject measurement unit to the incident end face of the detection fiber array. As a result, the light returned from the subject measurement unit enters the incident end face of the detection fiber array without being disturbed.
[0028]
In addition, since the light source and the image sensor are mounted on the other surface of the flat optical plate, the device can be flattened, and the thickness can be easily reduced.
[0029]
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the refractive index of the transparent member is made larger than the refractive index of the core of the fiber constituting the detection fiber array. More specifically, the difference between the refractive index of the transparent member and the refractive index of the core of the fiber constituting the detection fiber array, all external light incident on the transparent member in the subject measurement unit, The fiber is selected so as not to propagate through the core of the fiber constituting the detection fiber array.
[0030]
By selecting the difference between the refractive index of the transparent member and the refractive index of the core of the fiber constituting the detection fiber array in this way, external light entering the optical plate from the object measurement unit is detected. Will not propagate. Therefore, the influence of external light on image quality is reduced.
[0031]
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the inclination angle of the transparent member is such that light emitted from the light source and traveling toward the subject measurement section through the transparent member is totally reflected at the light emitting end face of the transparent member. You have been chosen to. The inclination angle of the detection fiber array is selected such that the light totally reflected by the object measurement unit propagates through the detection fiber array.
[0032]
By selecting the inclination angle of the transparent member and the detection fiber array in this way, a total reflection type uneven pattern detection device described later is obtained.
[0033]
As a modification of the present invention, the inclination angle of the transparent member is such that light emitted from the light source and passing through the transparent member toward the subject measurement unit is not totally reflected at the light emitting end face of the transparent member. The angle is selected to be smaller than the critical angle for total reflection at the light emitting end face. The inclination angle of the detection fiber array is selected such that light scattered at an angle larger than the total reflection critical angle at the light emitting end face of the transparent member propagates through the detection fiber array.
[0034]
By selecting the inclination angles of the transparent member and the detection fiber array in this manner, a scattering type uneven pattern detection device described later is obtained.
[0035]
According to a preferred embodiment of these inventions, a light absorber is provided around each fiber constituting the detection fiber array.
[0036]
By providing the light absorber, light other than light propagating in the detection fiber array is absorbed by the light absorber, so that light crosstalk is prevented. As a result, a high-resolution image can be obtained.
[0037]
The invention according to a third aspect of the present invention relates to a portable device equipped with an uneven pattern detection device. This uneven pattern detection device includes one surface including an object measurement unit for measuring an object having an uneven pattern, and the other surface on which the light source and the image sensor are mounted, facing the one surface. And an optical plate having the same. In the thickness portion of the optical plate, the optical axis faces the object measuring section and the light source, and the light incident end surface is exposed on the other surface of the optical plate, and the light emitting end surface is the object. A detection fiber array in which fibers are bundled is embedded so as to be exposed on the other surface of the optical plate. Further, a light source is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light incident end surface of the light introducing fiber array. Further, an image sensor is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light emitting end surface of the detection fiber array.
[0038]
The invention according to a fourth aspect of the present invention relates to a portable device equipped with an uneven pattern detection device. This uneven pattern detection device has one surface including an object measuring unit for measuring an object having an uneven pattern, and another surface opposed to the one surface and on which a light source and an imaging element are mounted. An optical plate is provided. The optical plate extends in the thickness portion of the optical plate so as to connect the object measurement unit and the light source, and the light incident end surface is exposed on the other surface of the optical plate, and the light emission end surface is further connected to the object measurement surface. A transparent member having a higher refractive index than that of the optical plate is embedded so as to be exposed to the portion. Further, in the thickness portion of the optical plate, the optical axis faces the object measurement section and the imaging device, and the light incident end face is in close contact with the side surface of the transparent member, and the light output end face is the optical plate. A detection fiber array formed by bundling fibers for sending the light from the light source to the subject measurement unit is embedded so as to be exposed on the other surface of the detection device. Further, a light source is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light incident end surface of the transparent member. Further, an image sensor is mounted on the other surface of the optical plate so as to be connected to the light emitting end surface of the detection fiber array.
