Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a breast image capturing system, and more particularly to a breast image capturing system in which irradiation of a radiation image capturing device is controlled based on information of the radiation image reading device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In general, a radiation image capturing apparatus that uses an action of transmitting radiation through a substance is widely used for medical image diagnosis, nondestructive inspection, and the like. Of these, particularly for a breast image capturing apparatus used for mammography, since it is used for reading a fine structure of a specific part, such as a lesioned part of the breast, it is possible to perform particularly high-resolution image capturing. Desired. Therefore, in such mammography, a radiation image detector in which a dedicated stimulable phosphor plate suitable for high-definition image shooting different from that for general imaging is housed in a cassette is used.
[0003]
If a general-purpose cassette is used to perform mammography, high-definition image quality suitable for performing medical image diagnosis cannot be obtained, which may hinder the diagnosis. However, since a normal mammography cassette is smaller than a general radiography cassette, there has conventionally been little possibility that a mammography cassette and a general radiography cassette will be mistaken.

However, in recent years, there has been proposed a breast image capturing apparatus that performs enlarged capturing such as phase contrast capturing. Phase contrast imaging is also called refraction contrast imaging, and was previously performed using monochromatic parallel radiation obtained from a radiation source such as SPring-8 or a microfocus radiation source having a focal size of about 10 μm. However, it has been found that it can be performed even by using a medical radiation source (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-91479). According to the phase contrast imaging, the contrast of the subject can be described with higher contrast than the normal contrast imaging in which the subject is photographed at an actual size, and a high-definition radiation image can be obtained (for example, see Patent Document 1). When such an enlarged photographing is performed, a cassette having the same size as that for general photographing is used so that the enlarged image can be appropriately captured by the detector.

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the case of a breast imaging apparatus using a large cassette for breast imaging, it is difficult to distinguish the cassette for breast imaging from the cassette for general imaging in appearance, and the operator has a cassette for breast imaging and a cassette for general imaging. The possibility of making a mistake with the cassette increases. However, the cassette for mammography and the cassette for general radiography are different in the stimulable phosphor plate housed in the cassette, although the appearance is similar. Therefore, if a cassette for general radiography is erroneously used for mammography, there is a difference in the quality of image recording as a detector, so that a high-definition image suitable for medical diagnosis cannot be obtained. there were.
[0007]
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and confirms cassette information registered in advance in the image reading apparatus when the breast image capturing apparatus performs imaging, and mounts an appropriate cassette. An object of the present invention is to ensure that a high-definition breast image is taken by not irradiating the radiation unless it is performed.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problem, the invention according to claim 1 has a radiation source that generates radiation, and a detector holding unit that holds a radiation image detector that detects radiation emitted from the radiation source and transmitted through a subject. In a breast image capturing system including a breast image capturing apparatus, and an image reading apparatus that reads image information recorded by a radiation image detector,
The image reading device is provided with a reading device control unit for registering the identification mark attached to the radiation image detector, and the breast image capturing device is configured to read the identification sign reading the identification mark attached to the radiation image detector. Means, and when reading the identification mark, asks the reading device control unit of the image reading device to collate with the identification mark registered in the reading device control unit, and the radiation image detector An imaging device control unit is provided which controls so that the radiation source does not emit radiation when it cannot be confirmed that the radiation source is suitable for imaging.
[0009]
In the invention according to claim 1 having such a configuration, the reading device control unit of the image reading device checks whether or not the radiation image detector is suitable for imaging, and if it cannot confirm, the breast image is detected. Since radiation is not emitted from the radiation source of the imaging device, it is possible to prevent radiographic image detectors that are not suitable for breast image capturing from being erroneously taken, which is superior in that higher definition images can be formed. ing.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to the first aspect, when the imaging device control unit cannot confirm the identification mark attached to the radiation image detector, the radiation source It is characterized in that it is controlled not to irradiate radiation.
[0011]
Therefore, according to the second aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent a radiographic image detector that is not suitable for radiographing from being erroneously radiographed.
[0012]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the breast image photographing apparatus according to the first or second aspect, the photographing apparatus control unit is configured such that the detector holding unit is located at a photographing position suitable for phase contrast photographing. When a radiation image detector that is not suitable for phase contrast imaging is held in the detector holding unit, the radiation source is controlled so as not to emit radiation from the radiation source.
[0013]
Therefore, according to the third aspect of the present invention, phase contrast imaging can be performed with high definition.
[0014]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to any one of the first to third aspects, when the imaging apparatus control unit does not cause the radiation source to emit radiation, Is controlled to warn the user.
[0015]
Therefore, according to the fourth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to prevent in advance the imaging in an inappropriate state from being performed, and it is possible to eliminate the burden on the patient due to the re-imaging.
[0016]
Further, according to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to the fourth aspect, the reading device control unit is used for breast image capturing when the radiation image detector is not suitable for breast image capturing. It is characterized in that registration of an identification mark as a radiation image detector is not performed.
[0017]
Therefore, according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, in the case of a radiation image detector that is not suitable for radiography, radiographic image detectors that are not suitable for radiographing conditions are taken by not registering the radiation image detector. This can be reliably prevented, and it is possible to eliminate the burden on the patient due to re-taking the image.
[0018]
Further, the invention according to
[0019]
Therefore, in the invention according to
[0020]
Further, according to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to the fourth or fifth aspect, when the image reading apparatus is not in an operable state, the image capturing apparatus control unit performs the breast image capturing. The radiation source of the apparatus is controlled so as not to emit radiation.
[0021]
Therefore, according to the seventh aspect of the invention, it is possible to appropriately prevent the image reading from being performed without the radiation image detector being confirmed by the image reading device.
[0022]
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to any one of the first to seventh aspects, a terminal device for reading and registering the identification mark is separately provided outside the image reading device. The terminal device and the image reading device are connected through a network line, and the terminal device registers patient information and imaging information necessary for image capturing, and the registered information is stored in the image reading device. It is obtained by the reading device control unit.
[0023]
Therefore, according to the invention described in claim 8, even when the terminal device for registering the identification mark is installed at a place separated from the image reading device, all information about the radiation image detector is stored in the image reading device. Since the imaging device control unit requests the image reading device to check the radiation image detector, it is possible to confirm whether the radiation image detector is suitable for imaging, and is not suitable for imaging. Erroneous imaging by the radiation image detector can be prevented.
[0024]
Further, according to a ninth aspect of the present invention, in the breast image capturing apparatus according to any one of the first to eighth aspects, the detector holding unit is provided so as to be capable of changing a distance to the radiation source. Features.
[0025]
