Abstract
Description
【0001】
DSS(Day Start and Stop)に伴うボイラ運転の休止時に極力ボイラ内を高温高圧に保つホットバンキングを実施することで、運転休止時間を長く確保して缶水循環ポンプ等の運転動力消費を低減すると共に、運転再開時の立ち上げに要する時間を短縮することが望まれている。
【0003】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a floating ring type mechanical seal used under high pressure conditions, such as a canned water circulation pump used in a forced circulation boiler.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a forced circulation boiler such as a thermal power plant, a pump called a “canned water circulation pump” is used to forcibly circulate canned water in the boiler. In the forced circulation boiler using this canned water circulation pump, a long operation stop time is secured by performing hot banking that keeps the inside of the boiler as high temperature and pressure as possible when the boiler operation is stopped due to so-called DSS (Day Start and Stop). Therefore, it is desired to reduce the power consumption of the operation of the canned water circulation pump and the like, and to shorten the time required for starting up when the operation is restarted.
[0003]
Against this background, the supply of injection water (sealing water) is stopped in a forced circulation boiler that is suspended at a high temperature and high pressure. High pressure will work. For this reason, in the canned water circulation pump, the gland packing seal type has been changed to a mechanical seal type so that the shaft sealing portion can withstand high pressure.
Also, it is known that in a general mechanical seal, when used under high pressure, a contact surface between a seal ring serving as a seal surface and a stationary ring cannot maintain parallelism, thereby impairing sealing performance. A floating ring type mechanical seal having a floating ring divided from the ring is employed.
[0004]
Therefore, a conventional floating ring type mechanical seal will be briefly described with reference to FIG. 6,
The rotating

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the conventional floating ring type mechanical seal described above, a leak occurs under a condition where a high pressure close to the pressure in the forced circulation boiler acts, and a sufficient sealing function cannot be exhibited. For this reason, in the floating ring type mechanical seal of the canned water circulation pump, the pressure acting on the shaft sealing part is reduced as much as possible by introducing water sealing and corresponding to high pressure, and the pressure resistance condition of the mechanical seal part is relaxed and used. That is the current situation.
Therefore, there is a demand for a free-ring type mechanical seal of a canned water circulation pump that can set usable pressure resistance conditions as high as possible and that does not leak even when exposed to high-temperature and high-pressure canned water.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and can eliminate leakage from a shaft sealing portion even when exposed to high-temperature and high-pressure boiler water. It is intended to provide a seal.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention employs the following means in order to solve the above problems.
In the floating ring type mechanical seal according to the first aspect, the floating ring is interposed between the seal ring held on the rotating ring that rotates integrally with the rotating side and the stationary ring held on the stationary side via a spring retainer. A floating ring type mechanical seal that holds a pressure and seals with a sliding surface between the seal ring and the floating ring, wherein a polytetrafluoroethylene sheet is provided between the seal ring and the rotating ring. It is.
[0010]
According to such a floating ring type mechanical seal, since the polytetrafluoroethylene sheet for reducing the frictional force is installed between the seal ring and the rotary ring, even if there is a large pressure change over a relatively long time. Since the seal ring slides, deformation of the slide ring is prevented, and the seal surface per plane can always be maintained.
[0011]
In the floating ring type mechanical seal according to the first aspect, it is preferable that both the seal ring and the floating ring are made of silicon carbide.
Then, in the floating ring type mechanical seal according to claim 1 or 2, it is preferable that the thickness of the polytetrafluoroethylene sheet is 0.2 mm.
[0012]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a floating ring type mechanical seal of a canned water circulation pump according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The friction reducing layer is not necessarily limited to the polytetrafluoroethylene sheet. For example, when the temperature condition is low, another fluororesin may be used as the low friction member, or the friction reducing layer may be formed by a surface treatment or the like. Friction is also possible.
[0030]
The mechanical seal described so far is not limited to the shaft sealing portion of the canned water circulation pump of the forced circulation boiler, and it is needless to say that the mechanical seal can be widely applied particularly to a shaft sealing structure of pumps handling a high-temperature and high-pressure fluid.
The configuration of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately combined or changed without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
According to the mechanical seal of the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Since a polytetrafluoroethylene sheet for reducing the frictional force is provided between the seal ring and the rotating ring, use conditions such as a canned water circulation pump that slowly and largely fluctuates over time, such as a canned water circulation pump. Even below, since the seal ring moves along the polytetrafluoroethylene sheet having a low frictional force before the deformation occurs, the seal ring can be prevented from being deformed by the fluid pressure. Therefore, even in the intermediate pressure zone, the parallelism of the seal surface, which is the contact surface between the idler ring and the seal ring, is not impaired, and a good sealing function can be reliably exhibited in all pressure zones up to high pressure. it can.
(2) If the seal ring and the floating ring are made of the same member (silicon carbide), the occurrence of rough skin can be suppressed or prevented, and the durability and reliability against high pressure can be further improved.
