Description

PM1(XPM1+ΔX1=A,YPM1+ΔY1=B)
PM2(XPM2+ΔX2=C,YPM2+ΔY2=D)
PM3(XPM3+ΔX3=E,YPM3+ΔY3=F)
P2x=(J+G)/2
P2y=(H+K)/2
P2x0(PM2)=Dd*sin(θ’−θ)
P2y0(PM2)=Dd*cos(90−θ’−θ)
P2x1=(J1+G1)/2
P2y1=(H1+K1)/2
P2x01(PM2)=Dd*sin(θ1’−θ1)
P2y01(PM2)=Dd*cos(90−θ1’−θ1)
X3=Xoff1+Dcos(θ1+θ2)
Y3=Yoff1+Dsin(θ1+θ2)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic component mounting method and device, and more particularly, to an electronic component mounting method and device for mounting an electronic component on a circuit board.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, electronic component mounting apparatuses for mounting electronic components (hereinafter simply referred to as components) on a circuit board have been known (
[0003]
On the other hand, when the picked-up component is a high-precision component, an IC mark on the circuit board is measured by a board recognition camera, and the correct mounting position of the component is determined by the position correction data based on the IC mark measurement and the suction position correction data based on the component recognition. [0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a conventional electronic component mounting apparatus, when a component such as a chip component does not require relatively high mounting accuracy, it can be mounted within the required accuracy even if the component is mounted only by correcting the position of the substrate mark. However, a high-precision mounting component such as a QFP component must recognize all IC marks provided near the component mounting position. When mounting multiple QFP components on a circuit board, All the provided IC marks must be recognized, and there is a problem that as the number of high-precision components increases, it takes more time to mount.
[0006]
Therefore, the present invention solves such a problem, and even if there are many components that need to be mounted with high accuracy, accurate mounting can be performed in a short time, and components can be accurately mounted with a short tact. It is an object to provide an electronic component mounting method and apparatus that can be mounted on a substrate.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above problems.
In an electronic component mounting method of correcting a mounting position error due to a board shift based on a measurement result of a component positioning mark position on a board and mounting a component on the board,
Store the measurement data of each mark position,
During the production of the board, a configuration is employed in which the position data of the component positioning mark is generated from the stored measurement data to correct the mounting position error due to the board displacement.
[0008]
Further, in the present invention,
In an electronic component mounting apparatus that corrects a mounting position error due to a board shift based on a measurement result of a component positioning mark position on a board and mounts a component on the board,
Storage means for storing measurement data at each mark position;
During the production of the board, there is also adopted a configuration having means for generating the position data of the component positioning mark from the stored measurement data and correcting the mounting position error due to the board displacement.
[0009]
The idea of the present invention is that the positions of high-precision component positioning marks (IC marks and board marks of a multi-piece board) formed on each board made in the same lot are substantially constant for each board. For example, if the positional relationship between the mark of each substrate and another mark or a predetermined point on the substrate is the same within an allowable range, all the positional relationships of the marks are also different for each substrate. It is estimated that they are almost the same. Therefore, for one substrate, all mark positions are measured and their position data is stored, and when producing another substrate, a predetermined point (a substrate mark, an IC mark, or a substrate mark) is measured from one measured mark. When the distance to the above predetermined reference point coincides with the stored distance to the predetermined point of the corresponding mark within an allowable range, the position of another mark is actually measured. Is skipped, and mark position data to be measured is generated from the stored measurement data. As a result, the time required to acquire the component positioning mark (IC mark or board mark of a multi-piece board) is greatly reduced, and the component mounting efficiency can be significantly improved.
[0010]

In such an electronic component mounting apparatus, components are usually mounted according to the flow of FIG. First, the

Subsequently, when it is determined in step S5 that the picked-up component is an electronic component such as a chip component, the process proceeds to step S6, where the board position correction data obtained in step S1 and the suction position correction data obtained in step S4 are used. Accurate mounting position data is calculated from the data, and the XY robot is moved to that position to mount the component (step S8).
[0017]
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S5 that the picked-up component is a high-precision component, the

In the above mounting process, when mounting high-precision components such as QFP components, all the IC marks provided for each component must be recognized. There is a problem. Therefore, in the present invention, the component mounting process is performed on the assumption that the positional relationship between the board mark and each of the IC marks and the board mark of the multi-piece board is kept substantially constant. Try to do it fast.
[0019]
This method will be described with reference to the flowcharts shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 executed under the control of the
[0020]
The electronic component mounting apparatus starts the component mounting operation on the first substrate of the production lot. Since the
[0021]
The
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 8, in the component mounting data, the position data in the X and Y directions for the board marks PM1, PM2 and PM3 is given based on the reference point FM (FIG. 6). At S10,
PM1 (X PM1 + ΔX1 = A, Y PM1 + ΔY1 = B)
PM2 (X PM2 + ΔX2 = C, Y PM2 + ΔY2 = D)
PM3 (X PM3 + ΔX3 = E, Y PM3 + ΔY3 = F)
Is obtained, the inclination θ of the substrate determined from PM1 and PM2 v Is
[0023]
(Equation 1)
And the inclination of the substrate determined from PM3 and PM2 is θ h Is
[0024]
(Equation 2)
Therefore, the inclination θ of the
[0025]
When the board displacement, that is, the board inclination and the displacement, is obtained in this manner, the component number is read out (step S12), and the chip component as shown by P1, P4, P5, and P6 in FIG. In the case of (1), the component mounting data (mounting position) is converted based on the obtained inclination and positional deviation data of the board, and the converted data is stored in a buffer memory (RAM) in the controller 10 (step). S14).
[0026]
Subsequently, the components are sucked from the component supply units (feeders) 3 and 4 in which the chip components are stored, and the
[0027]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S13 that the component is a high-precision mounted component that requires IC mark recognition, such as a QFP component as indicated by P2 and P3 in FIG. 6, a predetermined component supply unit (feeder) 3 4, the QFP component is sucked, the
[0028]
For example, data conversion for the QFP component P2 is performed as follows.
In step S18,
IM1 (X IM1 + ΔX4 = G, Y IM1 + ΔY4 = H)
IM2 (X IM2 + ΔX5 = J, Y IM2 + ΔY5 = K)
Is measured, the central value of P2 is
P2 x = (J + G) / 2
P2 y = (H + K) / 2
It becomes. Since this value is FM-based data, it is converted into coordinate system data of zero-degree inclination based on the substrate mark PM2 based on the substrate mark PM2, that is, data of the reference coordinate system on the substrate, as follows. In the following equation, (PM2) indicates that the substrate mark PM2 is used as a reference point (the origin of the reference coordinate system).
[0029]
P2 x (PM2) = P2 x -C
P2 y (PM2) = P2 y -D
Therefore, the inclination θ ′ is
[0030]
[Equation 3]
And the distance Dd from the reference board mark PM2 to the center value of the component P2 is
[0031]
(Equation 4)
Therefore, the mounting position of the component P2 (the center value P2 x0 (PM2), P2 y0 (PM2))
P2 x0 (PM2) = Dd * sin (θ′−θ)
P2 y0 (PM2) = Dd * cos (90−θ′−θ)
And converted into mounting position data in the reference coordinate system on the board.
[0032]
Similarly, the position data of the IC marks IM1 and IM2 used for obtaining the mounting position of the component P2 is also converted into data of a reference coordinate system on the board.
[0033]
The reference coordinate system on the board is an uv coordinate system, and the coordinate system describing component mounting data as shown in FIG. 8 is an XY coordinate system, and the relationship between the two coordinates is shown in FIG. The positions of the IM1 and IM2 or the mounting positions of the parts P2 and the data of the PM1 to PM3 in the XY coordinate system are converted into data in the uv coordinate system, and the converted data is stored in the buffer memory (RAM) of the
[0034]
Subsequently, the
[0035]
Thereafter, the next component number is read out (step S21), and the component mounting data related to all the components for one board is converted into data of the reference coordinate system, and the components are mounted. Thereafter, after all the components are mounted, the component mounting data converted into the reference coordinate system is stored in the mounting data memory (for example, the storage device 33) for each component (step S22).
[0036]
Next, the second and subsequent substrates of the same production lot are produced according to the flow of FIG. The
[0037]
For the substrate marks PM1, PM2, PM3 of the second substrate,
PM1 (X PM1 + ΔX11 = A1, Y PM1 + ΔY11 = B1)
PM2 (X PM2 + ΔX21 = C1, Y PM2 + ΔY21 = D1)
PM3 (X PM3 + ΔX31 = E1, Y PM3 + ΔY31 = F1)
Is obtained, the substrate inclination θ determined from PM1 and PM2 v1 Is
[0038]
(Equation 5)
And the inclination θ of the substrate determined from PM3 and PM2. h1 Is
[0039]
(Equation 6)
Therefore, the inclination θ1 of the substrate is calculated as the average value θ1 = (θ v1 + Θ h1 ) / 2. On the other hand, with respect to the displacement (offset) of the substrate, the displacements ΔX21 and ΔY21 of the substrate mark PM2 with respect to FM are set as offset values Xoff1 and Yoff1. The inclination θ1 and displacement Xoff1 and Yoff1 of the second substrate are shown in FIG. 11B together with the reference coordinate system (u′v ′) on the substrate.
[0040]
Subsequently, the part number is read (step S33), and the skip and E flags are set to 0 at this time.
[0041]
In the case of a chip component, the component mounting data is converted based on the board displacement data of the inclination and displacement of the board (step S35), and then the component suction position is determined in the same manner as steps S15 and S16 in FIG. Data is obtained (step S36), and accurate mounting position data is calculated from the component suction position data and the component mounting data, and the component is mounted on the board (step S37).
[0042]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S34 that the component is a QFP component, the
[0043]
Subsequently, based on the displacement data obtained in step S32, the IC mark position data is converted into data of a coordinate system (u'v 'coordinate system) of zero degree from the reference substrate mark (PM2).
[0044]
This conversion is similar because it was performed on the first sheet.
In the case of QFP part P2,
IM1 (X IM1 + ΔX41 = G1, Y IM1 + ΔY41 = H1)
IM2 (X IM2 + ΔX51 = J1, Y IM2 + ΔY51 = K1)
Is measured, the central value of P2 is
P2 x1 = (J1 + G1) / 2
P2 y1 = (H1 + K1) / 2
It becomes. Since this value is data on the FM reference (XY coordinate system), it is converted into data on the reference coordinate system (u'v 'coordinate system) on the substrate as follows.
[0045]
P2 x1 (PM2) = P2 x1 -C1
P2 y1 (PM2) = P2 y1 -D1
Therefore, the inclination θ1 ′ is
[0046]
(Equation 7)
The distance Dd from the reference board mark PM2 to the center value of the component P2 is:
[0047]
(Equation 8)
Therefore, the component mounting data of the component P2 in the reference coordinate system (center value P2 x01 (PM2), P2 y01 (PM2))
P2 x01 (PM2) = Dd * sin (θ1′−θ1)
P2 y01 (PM2) = Dd * cos (90−θ1′−θ1)
And the center position of the component P2 is converted into data of the reference coordinate system. Similarly, the position data of IM1 and IM2 are also converted into data of the reference coordinate system.
[0048]
At this time, the component center position of P2 or the mark position data of IM1 and IM2 in the converted component mounting data (u'v 'coordinate system) is stored in correspondence with the component number acquired on the first board. This is compared with the corresponding data (uv coordinate system) in the component mounting data (step S41). Now, since E = 0 is set in step S33, the determination in step S42 is denied, and the process proceeds to step S43. If it is determined that they match within the allowable range, skip = 1 is set. (Step S45) On the other hand, if it is out of the allowable range, E = 1 is set (Step S44), and the mounting position error due to the suction shift and the board shift is corrected based on the component suction position data and the measured IC mark position data. To mount the component P2 (step S46).
[0049]
Subsequently, the next component number is read (step S47). If the next component is also a QFP component (P3), component suction position data is obtained in step S38, and then skip = 1 is set in step S45. If so, the position of the IC mark (IM3, IM4) is not recognized (measured) by the
[0050]
The generation of the position data is performed as follows, for example, in the case of an IC mark of IM3. Assuming that the stored position data of the IC mark IM3 is the coordinate value (u3, v3), the coordinate value is the same in the u′v ′ coordinate system, so the distances D and u ′ between PM2 and IM3 are calculated from the value. Since the angle θ2 with respect to the axis is obtained and the inclination of the substrate is θ1, the position data X3 and Y3 at which the IC mark is generated are as shown in FIG.
X3 = Xoff1 + Dcos (θ1 + θ2)
Y3 = Yoff1 + Dsin (θ1 + θ2)
It becomes. The data of the IC mark IM4 can be generated in the same manner, and in the present embodiment, only the mark up to the IM4 is shown. However, even when another IC mark is provided, the data is similarly generated. be able to.
[0051]
The
[0052]
On the other hand, if the QFP component is out of the allowable range, the component mounting position of the QFP component is determined based on the component suction data determined by the
[0053]
As described above, the component mounting data (IC mark position or component center position data) viewed in the reference coordinate system is within the allowable range from the component mounting data stored corresponding to the component number acquired on the first board. If the values match, step S40 for measuring other IC mark position data on the same substrate can be skipped, and high-speed mounting is possible.
[0054]
In the above-described embodiment, the component mounting data is converted into the reference coordinate system on the board, and the measurement of the IC mark is performed according to whether the coordinate position of the certain IC mark in the reference coordinate system matches within an allowable range on each board. Is determined whether to skip. In this case, the distance from the origin of the reference coordinate system and the direction (angle with respect to the coordinate axis) are matched. However, the present invention is not limited to this. Whether the distance between each IC mark or the distance between the IC mark and the substrate mark matches. It may be determined whether or not to skip the measurement of the IC mark. This method will be described with reference to the flowcharts of FIGS.
[0055]
Steps S50 and S51 in FIG. 9 are the same as steps S10 and S11 in FIG. 4, and by measuring the substrate marks PM1, PM2, and PM3 of the first substrate, the inclination θ of the
[0056]
Subsequently, the part number is read out (step S53), and if it is a chip part, the obtained inclination and displacement data of the substrate is stored in the buffer memory (RAM) in the controller 10 (step S54). . Subsequently, similarly to step S15, the component suction position data is obtained (step S55), and the
[0057]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S53 that the component is a high-precision mounted component that requires IC mark recognition, component suction position data is obtained by component recognition as in step S17 (step S57), and subsequently, as in step S18. Next, IC mark position data is obtained (step S58). The obtained position data is stored in the buffer memory (RAM) of the
[0058]
Subsequently, the
[0059]
Next, the second and subsequent substrates of the same production lot are produced according to the flow of FIG. Step S71 is the same as step S31, and in the subsequent step S72, the inclination (θ1) and the displacement data (Xoff1, Yoff1) of the second substrate are obtained (FIG. 11B).
[0060]
Subsequent processes in steps S73 to S77 are the same as those in steps S33 to S37, and mounting of chip components is performed.
[0061]
On the other hand, the processing in steps S78 to S89 for a QFP component is basically the same as the processing in steps S38 to S49. However, in this embodiment, in step S81, the center position of the part P2 or the distance between the mark position data of IM1 (or IM2) and PM2 is stored corresponding to the part number acquired on the first substrate. Is compared with the mark center data of the component P2 or the mark position data of IM1 (or IM2) and the distance between PM2. If both distances match within an allowable range, the other IC marks (IM3, IM4) ), The position data of the IC mark (IM3, IM4) is generated from the component mounting data without measuring the position (step S88). The generation of the position data can be performed, for example, by performing data conversion to the reference coordinate system uv on the substrate as in the embodiments of FIGS. For example, in the case of the IC mark IM3, the position data (XY coordinate system) of the IM3 acquired and stored on the first sheet is temporarily converted to the uv coordinate system, and as shown in FIG. What is necessary is just to reversely convert to the data of the XY coordinate system based on the deviation data θ1, Xoff1, and Yoff2 of the second substrate.
[0062]
As described above, the distance between the component mounting data (IC mark position or component center position data) and PM2 is determined between the component mounting data stored corresponding to the same component number acquired on the first board and PM2. If the distance and the tolerance are within the allowable range, step S80 of measuring another IC mark position data of the same substrate can be skipped, so that high-speed mounting becomes possible.
[0063]
In the above example, the distance of the component mounting data (IC mark position or component center position data) to the board mark PM2 is compared with each other. Alternatively, the distances to other predetermined reference points on the substrate may be compared with each other. When the distances to the IC marks are compared with each other, the distances between the IC marks are compared with each other. For example, when manufacturing the second substrate, first, the positions of the IC marks IM1 and IM4 are measured, and the distance between the positions is within the allowable range of the distance between the IC marks IM1 and IM4 measured for the first substrate. , The measurement of other IC mark positions is skipped.
[0064]
Even if the same substrate is used, a skip interval is set. For example, if the measurement of the IC mark position is skipped n times (n = 2, 3,...), The subsequent IC mark is actually The IC mark position data is obtained (steps S40 and S80), and the data is compared with the corresponding data in the component mounting data stored in the mounting data memory to determine whether the data is within an allowable range, and a skip condition is determined. May be checked again (steps S41, S43, S81, S83).
[0065]
When comparing the IC mark position data with the corresponding data in the stored component mounting data, it is determined whether the IC mark position that is located farther from the reference point (PM2) matches. Since the accuracy is improved when making the determination, the IC mark position at the position furthest from the reference point (PM2) is acquired in steps S40 and S80, and is compared with the corresponding data in steps S41 and S81. You may.
[0066]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, each mark position data measured when the first substrate is produced is stored. However, before starting the production, each mark of the same lot substrate is measured. The position data may be stored.
[0067]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, since the position data of the component positioning mark is generated from the stored measurement data of the component positioning mark, the actual measurement of the position of the component positioning mark is skipped. Thus, the time required for acquiring the data of the component positioning mark position is greatly reduced, and the component mounting efficiency can be significantly improved.
