Description

【0001】

【0019】

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a compact outdoor unit of an air conditioner with improved heat exchange capacity.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention covers an outer shell provided with a suction port on the back side and an outlet on the front side on a bottom plate, and a heat exchanger by a partition plate erected on the bottom plate. A heat exchanger facing the suction port and a blower fan facing the air outlet and a drive motor for the blower fan, respectively. In an outdoor unit of an air conditioner having a compressor disposed in the compressor room,
The heat exchanger is formed to have a U-shaped cross section with a folded portion folded back to the outlet side,
Axial gap type drive motors sharing a rotation axis for inserting the turn-back portion are provided on the front and back surfaces of the turn-up portion, respectively, and a structure is provided in which both ends of the rotation shaft are provided with blower fans.
[0009]
In addition, one side of the stator of the axial gap type drive motor is disposed adjacent to the folded portion, and is provided at the rotation center of the blower fan, and the other side of the rotation boss for fixing the rotation shaft and the other side of the stator. The structure is such that permanent magnets constituting the rotor of the axial gap type drive motor are provided on the opposing surfaces.
[0010]
Further, the axial gap type drive motor stator covers three sides of the front surface, the upper surface, and the rear surface of the folded portion, and is fixed to a U-shaped motor mounting bracket having a flange fixed to the bottom plate at an end. The structure is made.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention, as viewed from above, showing the outdoor unit. Note that the same parts as those in the conventional example are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
The difference of the present application from the conventional example is the shape of the drive motor 1, the two blower fans 2, and the heat exchanger 3. The heat exchanger 3 is not formed in a conventional L-shape, but is formed in a U-shaped cross-section with a folded portion 3c folded toward the outlet 87 side.
For this reason, the external air that has flowed in from the inlet 86 passes through the heat exchanger 3 twice before being blown out from the outlet 87, and has a high heat exchange capacity that cannot be obtained with the conventional L-shape. Is obtained.
[0012]
As described above, since the heat exchanger 3 is formed in a U-shape having the folded portion 3c, a conventional inner drive motor having a large dimension in the rotation axis direction cannot be arranged. Therefore, in the present application, an axial gap type motor is used as the drive motor. This motor has a tandem configuration in which two sets of a rotor and a stator having the same structure are used and connected by a rotating shaft 4.
The axial gap type driving motor 1 includes a ring-shaped permanent magnet 5 provided on the inner surface side (the folded portion 3c side of the heat exchanger 3) of the rotating boss 2a of the blower fan 2, and the permanent magnet 5 facing the ring-shaped permanent magnet 5. And a ring-shaped stator 6 arranged on a concentric circle. Thus, by employing the axial gap type drive motor, the thickness of the drive motor in the rotation axis direction can be reduced, and a thin motor can be configured.
[0013]
The mounting structure of the drive motor 1 will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2A is a cross-sectional view of a main part of a side surface of the outdoor unit, and FIG. 2B is a front view of the main part for describing attachment of a drive motor.
The folded portion 3c of the heat exchanger 3 is composed of a number of fins 3a arranged in parallel at equal intervals and a heat transfer tube 3b orthogonal to the fins 3a, and is fixed on the bottom plate 81. Further, a motor mounting bracket 10 having a U-shaped cross section having a flange 10a at an end is fixed on the bottom plate 81 so as to surround the rear surface, the upper surface, and the front surface of the folded portion 3c. The flange 10a is in contact with the bottom plate 81, and is fixed to the bottom plate 81 with a screw (not shown).
The stator 1a of the drive motor 1 is screwed to the motor mounting bracket 10 on the front and rear surfaces of the motor mounting bracket 10 by three mounting pieces 1b provided on the outer periphery of the stator 1a. The stator 1a is formed in a ring shape, and has an insertion hole 1c for inserting the rotary shaft 4 at the center thereof, and a bearing 1d is fitted into the insertion hole 1c. In addition, eight iron cores 1e wound with windings are arranged on the stator 1a concentrically with the rotating shaft 4 at equal intervals.
As described above, the positional relationship between the two drive motors that require mounting accuracy is defined only by the motor mounting bracket 10, so that the assembling work is facilitated. Further, since the blower fan 2 serving as a load on the drive motor 1 is arranged symmetrically in the direction of the rotation axis, the eccentricity of rotation can be suppressed and the vibration can be reduced.
[0014]
A ring-shaped permanent magnet 5 provided with a rotating boss 2a of the blower fan 2 is disposed on a surface facing the stator 1a with a gap therebetween, and drives the windings of the eight iron cores 1e. , The blower fan 2 rotates. The rotating shaft 4 fixed to the center of the rotating boss 2a passes through the center of the permanent magnet 5 and passes through the bearing 1d of the stator 1a, and further between the vertically adjacent heat transfer tubes 3b and adjacent to the left and right. It is inserted between the fins 3a and is fixed to the center of the rotating boss 2a of the back side blower fan 2 of the folded back portion 3c via the stator 1a on the back side of the motor mounting bracket 10. When the space between the adjacent fins 3a on the left and right is smaller than the diameter of the rotating shaft 4, the fins 3a may be partially cut as appropriate.
[0015]
If the outdoor unit is configured as described above and the two stators 1a are driven synchronously so that the rotating shaft 4 rotates in a predetermined direction, the two blowers 2 rotate simultaneously in a predetermined direction. As a matter of course, the mounting pitch of the blades 2b of the blower fan 2 is arranged such that outside air passes from the inlet to the outlet when rotating in a predetermined direction.
Although not shown, if one of the axial gap type driving motors 1 can drive the two blow fans 2 sufficiently, only one drive motor 1 may be provided. If there is a sufficient blowing capacity, the same effect can be obtained even if only one is provided.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to the present invention, the invention according to claim 1 is configured such that the heat exchanger is formed to have a U-shaped cross section including the folded portion that is folded toward the outlet. By arranging an axial gap type drive motor that shares a rotating shaft that passes through the folded portion on the front and back surfaces of the folded portion, respectively, and having a structure that includes blower fans at both ends of the rotating shaft,
The external air that has flowed in from the suction port passes through the heat exchanger twice before being blown out from the air outlet, so that a high heat exchange capacity that cannot be obtained with the conventional L-shape can be obtained.
[0017]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a stator of a rotating boss provided at a rotation center of a blower fan, wherein one side of a stator of an axial gap type driving motor is disposed adjacent to a folded portion. By providing a structure in which a permanent magnet constituting the rotor of the axial gap drive motor is provided on the surface facing the other side, the thickness of the drive motor in the rotation axis direction can be reduced, and a thin motor can be formed.
[0018]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an axial gap type driving motor stator, wherein the front surface, the upper surface, and the rear surface of the folded portion are covered on three sides and a flange is provided at an end portion for fixing to the bottom plate. With this structure, the positional relationship between the two drive motors that require mounting accuracy is defined only by the motor mounting bracket, thereby facilitating the assembly operation.
