Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mist coolant device, and more particularly, to a mist coolant device capable of reliably preventing dripping of a coolant liquid.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in cutting by a machine tool, a coolant is supplied for both lubrication and cooling of a cutting edge of a cutting tool. As a coolant supply system, there are an external supply system for supplying a coolant liquid from a coolant nozzle provided on an end face of a spindle head toward a cutting edge, and an internal supply system for supplying a coolant from inside the spindle through a tool holder or the like.
[0003]
In a machine that uses a large amount of coolant, part of the coolant may scatter around and worsen the working environment, coolant may adhere to the work, or may accumulate in the machined grooves, and there is a problem with the waste liquid treatment of the coolant. Becomes For this reason, in recent years, a system for supplying a mist of coolant instead of supplying the coolant in a liquid state is becoming widespread.
[0004]
Conventionally, in order to convert a coolant into a mist, a mixing section for sending air to atomize a liquid coolant is provided, and a mist of coolant is ejected from a nozzle together with the sent air.
[0005]
A problem with this type of mist coolant device is a coolant leak while the machining is stopped. As a conventional technique for preventing such coolant leakage, for example, a cutting fluid pushing means is provided near a mist generator, and when the supply of the cutting fluid through a cutting fluid supply line is cut off, the cutting fluid is supplied to the cutting fluid. There is one that closes a valve passage immediately without being affected by air particles contained therein to prevent dripping (see Patent Document 1).
[0006]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2000-308947 A
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, a check valve is provided in a coolant supply pipe in order to prevent a coolant liquid from flowing back from a mixing section. The check valve is opened by the action of the pressure of the coolant, so that the coolant flows only in the direction toward the mixing section.
[0008]
However, in a large vertical machine tool, for example, a portal machine tool, a coolant supply pipe is provided at the head of the spindle so as to extend vertically toward the tip of the spindle due to this structural limitation.
[0009]
Therefore, even when the coolant supply pump is stopped, the head pressure of the coolant in the coolant supply pipe always acts on the check valve. If the spindle head is large, the length of the vertically extending supply pipe increases, and the head pressure increases in proportion thereto. As a result of the check valve opening slightly at the head pressure, the coolant liquid may drool from the coolant nozzle, wasting the cutting fluid and contaminating the working environment.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the related art, and to reliably prevent a phenomenon that coolant liquid remaining in a coolant supply pipe leaks out of a check valve and drops from a coolant nozzle. It is an object of the present invention to provide a mist coolant device that can be used.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a mist generation unit that atomizes a coolant liquid with compressed air, a coolant liquid supply pipe that supplies the coolant liquid to the mist generation unit, and supplies air to the mist generation unit. A mist coolant device having an air supply pipe to be blown, and a nozzle for jetting the mist coolant generated in the mist generation section toward a cutting tool of a machine tool. The coolant supply pipe is provided upstream of the section, and the pilot pressure is taken in from the air supply pipe.
[0012]
According to the present invention, in a state in which the supply of air to the air supply pipe is stopped, the check valve with pilot without the application of the pilot pressure causes the coolant liquid remaining in the coolant supply pipe to generate the mist generation part. To prevent leakage.
[0013]
Further, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the nozzle is disposed at a spindle head of a vertical machine tool in which an axis direction of a spindle is parallel to a vertical direction, and the coolant liquid supply pipe extends vertically along the spindle head. It has a vertical piping part extending in the direction. The mist coolant device of the present invention has a large effect of preventing coolant leakage when applied to a vertical machine tool.
[0014]
