Description

【0001】

[Field of the Invention]
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an electronic imaging apparatus, which is easily opened and held in a hand at the time of photographing, can be compactly folded at the time of storage, and is easy to operate with one hand.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art Electronic imaging apparatuses using an imaging element (hereinafter, “imaging apparatus”) have been steadily miniaturized. The smaller the imaging device is, the more convenient it is to carry and store. However, the smaller the imaging device is, the more difficult it is to stably support and the larger the monitor cannot be.
FIG. 5 is an example of an imaging device that solves the problem (Patent Document 1). In the imaging apparatus, a main body cabinet (91) and an imaging cabinet (92) having substantially the same shape are connected by a hinge portion (97), and a large monitor (93) and a shutter button (94) are provided on the main body cabinet (91). An imaging cabinet (92) includes a lens (95) and an imaging device (96).
At the time of shooting, by opening the imaging cabinet (92) and juxtaposing it next to the main body cabinet (91), the imaging device can be enlarged to a size that is easy to use. At the time of storage, the imaging cabinet (92) can be inverted and folded in the direction of arrow A so as to overlap the main body cabinet (91).
When the imaging cabinet (92) is open, the monitor (93) can be rotated in the direction of arrow B to change the angle of the monitor (93) with respect to the optical axis of the lens.
[0003]
Generally, a small-sized imaging device is designed so that it can be supported by one hand and the operation buttons can be operated by the supported hand. Specifically, it is easy to operate with the right hand.
In the case of the image pickup apparatus of FIG. 5, holding the main body cabinet (91) with the left hand in the orientation of FIG. 5 causes the monitor (93) to face the opposite side of the photographer, which makes sense of the monitor (93). Absent. When the monitor (93) is turned to the photographer side, the shutter button (94) faces downward, and it is difficult to operate the monitor.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to clarify an imaging device that can be easily operated regardless of whether it is a right hand or a left hand while retaining the functions of enlargement and folding.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-11-187291
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
According to the imaging apparatus of the present invention, a flat elongated display cabinet (5) having a monitor (6) overlaps a flat elongated main body cabinet (1) also serving as a handle portion (10), and one end of both cabinets is centered. It is rotatably mounted. The camera lens (2) is arranged so that the rotation center axis of the display cabinet (5) coincides with the lens optical axis, and the imaging device (3) is located behind the lens (2). An operation button is provided at a position where a finger of the supported hand can reach.
[Action and effect]
Since the display cabinet (5) can be rotated and folded over the main body cabinet (1), it is convenient for carrying and storing.
When the photographer is right-handed, the display cabinet (5) is rotated to the left with respect to the vertical main body cabinet (1). Support the main cabinet (1) with your right hand.
When the photographer is left-handed, the direction of the display cabinet (5) is reversed, and the main body cabinet (1) is supported by the left hand.
Since the display cabinet (5) faces in the same direction as the movement of the hand trying to support the main body cabinet (1) from the side, the main body cabinet (1) can be supported in a natural state and is easy to hold.
The monitor (6) is located in the direction away from the hand holding the imaging device, regardless of whether it is supported by the right hand or left hand. Therefore, when the hand holding the imaging device is extended forward, the monitor (6) is placed in front of the eye. And easy to shoot.
[0008]
Since the folding rotation center of the display cabinet (5) is located at one end of the main body cabinet (1), as described above, when the display cabinet (5) is opened at right angles to the main body cabinet (1), The effective length of the handle of the main body cabinet (1) can be increased, and the imaging device can be more easily held with one hand.
[0009]
If the rotation center of the display cabinet (5) and the optical axis of the lens (2) are displaced, the display cabinet (5) must be formed to be long corresponding to the displacement, which hinders miniaturization. In the present invention, the rotation center of the display cabinet (5) is also at one end side of the main body cabinet (1), and the rotation center coincides with the optical axis of the lens (2). In addition, the overall length of the main body cabinet (1) can be made as short as possible, which can contribute to downsizing.
[0010]
As described above, the display cabinet (5) provided with the monitor (6) can be largely protruded rightward or leftward from the main body cabinet (1) for supporting the imaging device by hand, and the monitor (6) can be used. ) Can be made larger as long as it can be stored in the display cabinet (5), so that the monitor (6) can be easily seen.
Since the operation switch is located at a position where it can be operated by the hand supporting the main body cabinet (1), the imaging device can be supported and the switch can be operated with one hand.
[0011]
Even when the operation switch is located on the rotation center side of the display cabinet (5), as described above, the display cabinet (5) protrudes away from the hand supporting the main body cabinet (1). The monitor (6) of the display cabinet (5) is not hidden by the fingers of the operation.
[0012]

Since the operation switches including the photographing system switch (4) and the reproduction system switch (7) are located at positions where they can be operated by the hand supporting the main body cabinet (1), the imaging device can be supported and the switch can be operated with one hand.
[0025]
In the embodiment, the reproduction system switch (7) is located on the rotation center side of the display cabinet (5), and the display cabinet (5) faces away from the hand supporting the main body cabinet (1). Therefore, the monitor (6) on the display cabinet (5) is not hidden by the finger operating the reproduction system switch (7).
[0026]
When photographing a still image, as shown in FIG. 4e, the display cabinet (5) is extended straight with respect to the main body cabinet (1), the second still image shutter (44) is turned upward, and the imaging device is turned sideways. To support.
When pressing the still image shutter (44), both left and right ends of the imaging device are supported by both hands, thereby suppressing camera shake.
Depending on how the right hand of the main body cabinet (1) is held, there is room for fingers to reach the first still image shutter (43) on the back of the main body cabinet (1), so that the second still image shutter (44) may be omitted. it can.
In the case of left-handed use, if the image on the monitor (6) is inverted, the main body cabinet (1) can be supported by the left hand, and the first still image shutter (43) can be operated with the fingers.
[0027]
The description of the above embodiments is intended to explain the present invention, and should not be construed as limiting the invention described in the claims or reducing the scope thereof. Further, the configuration of each part of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it is needless to say that various modifications can be made within the technical scope described in the claims.
