【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、カーブコンベヤ用ベルトに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
カーブコンベヤはベルト駆動状態において、ベルトに内側へ移動しようとする力(向心力)が発生するため、図5や図6に示すように、薄肉部91と膨出部90から成るビード9のうち前記薄肉部91をベルト本体8の外周部全域に縫着し、固定部に取り付けられたホルダーHのベアリングHB,HBのアウターレースで膨出部90を挟持するようにしている(例えば、特許文献1がある。)。

ところで、近年、上記したホルダーHは、ベルト交換などのメンテナンス時における作業の軽減のため、上下分割式にされていると共に取り付け個数を減らす傾向にある。

しかしながら、上記の如くホルダーHの取り付け個数を減少させた場合、一個当たりのホルダーHにかかる向心力は大きくなることから、以下に示すような問題が生じる。

図5に示す形態のものでは、ベルト本体8に作用する向心力によりベアリングHB,HBと当接する膨出部90が同図の二点鎖線に示すように捲れ上がってしまう。したがって、ベルト本体8に作用する向心力に対してベルト本体8を内側へ移動不能に支持することが困難である。

図6に示す形態のものでは、ベルト本体8に作用する向心力により膨出部90と薄肉部91との間の部分に亀裂が入って、膨出部90が外側の抜ける方向に移動してしまう。この形態でも、ベルト本体8に作用する向心力に対してベルト本体8を内側へ移動不能に支持することができない。

なお、上記問題を解決する手段として、例えば、ビード全体を厚肉にしたり、膨出部90を縫着するということが考えられるが、これら手段を採用した場合、ビードの屈曲性が悪くなり円滑なベルトの回転駆動ができなくなってしまう。

そこで、この発明は、円滑に回転駆動でき且つビードに異常な変形及び破損が生じにくいカーブコンベヤ用ベルト提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
(請求項1記載の発明)
この発明は、ベルト本体と、前記ベルト本体の外周部全域における少なくとも表面及び裏面を覆う態様で取付けられたビードとから成るカーブコンベヤ用ベルトであって、前記ビードは、膨出部を二つの薄肉部で挟む態様で一体成形されたものであり、各薄肉部をベルト本体に縫着してある。
(請求項2記載の発明)
この発明のカーブコンベヤ用ベルトは、上記請求項1記載の発明に関し、ベルト本体の外周部全域における表面、外周縁及び裏面が連続してビードで覆われている。
(請求項3記載の発明)
この発明のカーブコンベヤ用ベルトは、上記請求項1又は2記載の発明に関し、膨出部を挟む二つの薄肉部のうち、内側に位置する薄肉部は外側に位置する薄肉部よりも厚く設定してある。
(請求項4記載の発明)
この発明のカーブコンベヤ用ベルトは、上記請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の発明に関し、膨出部と薄肉部とが連続する部分は断面R状に形成されている。
(請求項5記載の発明)
この発明のカーブコンベヤ用ベルトは、上記請求項1乃至4のいずれかの発明に関し、薄肉部のベルト本体への縫着は、膨出部から離れた位置に設定してある。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の実施形態を図面に従って説明する。
〔実施形態1〕
図1はこの発明の実施形態のカーブコンベヤ用ベルトBを利用したカーブコンベヤBCの平面図、図2は前記カーブコンベヤ用ベルトBの斜視図、図3は図1のX−X断面図を示している。
(このカーブコンベヤBCの主要構成について)
このカーブコンベヤBCは、基本的には図1に示すように、フレーム3,3と、前記フレーム3a,3bの前後部に回転自在に支持されたテーパローラ4,4と、前記テーパローラ4,4相互間に張設されたカーブコンベヤ用ベルトBと、前記カーブコンベヤ用ベルトBの外周部を支持する多数のホルダー5を具備するものであり、前記テーパローラ4,4の一方をモータ6で回転駆動している。なお、このベルトコンベヤBCでは、ホルダー5を連続的に設けるのではなく、少し間隔を設けて配置してある。

カーブコンベヤ用ベルトBは、図2や図3に示すように、ベルト本体1の外周部全域における表面10、外周縁11及び裏面12が連続してビード2で覆われて成るものである。

ベルト本体1は、図2に示すように円錐台の周面の形状になっており、テーパローラ4,4相互間に張設された状態では図1に示すように扇形になっている。なお、ベルト本体1のベルト構造は、公知の全てのものが採用できる。

ビード2は、図3に示すように、幅方向(内外方向)の両端及びその近傍に形成された薄肉部21,22と、幅方向中央部に形成された膨出部20とが一体成形されて構成してあり、前記薄肉部21,22をベルト本体1に縫着(薄肉部21の縫着部を符号21aとし、薄肉部22の縫着部を符号22aとする)する態様で取り付けられている。前記膨出部20を挟む二つの薄肉部のうち、内側に位置する薄肉部21は外側に位置する薄肉部22よりも少しだけ厚く設定してあると共に、膨出部20と薄肉部21,22とが連続する部分は断面R状に形成されている。なお、ビード2はウレタン等の合成樹脂で構成されている。

上記したカーブコンベヤ用ベルトBを支持するホルダー5は、図3に示すように、断面コ字状に形成されたもので、ベアリング50,50を横ハ字状に配置している。なお、カーブコンベヤ用ベルトBの往路及び復路は共に前記ホルダー5により支持されている。

ここで、このカーブコンベヤBCでは、カーブコンベヤ用ベルトBが内側に移動しないようにするため、図3に示すように、ベアリング50を膨出部20の内側部分に当接させる態様で、一対のベアリング50で挟持させるようにしている。

▲1▼.ビード2は、図3に示すように、幅方向の両端及びその近傍に形成された薄肉部21,22と、幅方向中央部に形成された膨出部20とが一体化されて構成してあり、前記薄肉部21,22を縫着する態様(薄肉部21の縫着部を符号21aとし、薄肉部22の縫着部を符号22aとする)でベルト本体1に取り付けられている。

したがって、ベアリング50,50から膨出部20へ作用する力は、膨出部20とベアリング50との接触部Sと、縫着部21aとの間に生ずる引っ張り力のみではなく、前記接触部Sと縫着部22aとの間に生ずる圧縮力にも変換され、このため従来の技術の欄で示した図5の形態のものの如き、膨出部20と薄肉部21との間部分への亀裂の発生は抑制される。

更に、膨出部20を挟む二つの薄肉部のうち、内側に位置する薄肉部21は外側に位置する薄肉部22よりも少しだけ厚く設定してあると共に、膨出部20と薄肉部21,22とが連続する部分は断面R状に形成されているから、膨出部20と薄肉部21との間部分への亀裂の発生の抑制効果は優れたものとなっている。
▲2▼.膨出部20は、当該膨出部20の両側に連続形成された薄肉部21,22をベルト本体1に縫着することにより取り付けられているから、従来の技術の欄で示した図4の形態のものの如き、捲れ上がるようなことはない。
▲3▼.ビード2全体が厚肉になるのではなく、且つ、膨出部90自体を縫着するものではないので、ビードの屈曲性が悪くなるようなことはないから、円滑なカーブコンベヤ用ベルトBの回転駆動が可能である。
▲4▼.上記▲1▼〜▲3▼から、このカーブコンベヤ用ベルトは、円滑に回転駆動でき且つビードに異常な変形及び破損が生じにくいものとなることが明らかである。
〔他の実施形態〕
上記実施形態1では、ベルト本体1の外周部全域における表面10、外周縁11及び裏面12が連続してビード2で覆われて成るものとしてあるが、これに限定されることなく、図4に示すように、ベルト本体1の外周部全域における表面10及び裏面12のみがビード2で覆われて成るものでもよい。

上記実施形態1では、膨出部20を挟む二つの薄肉部のうち、内側に位置する薄肉部21は外側に位置する薄肉部22よりも少しだけ厚く設定してあるが、材料によっては、薄肉部21と薄肉部22とを同じ厚みにしてもよい。
