Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various types of zoom lenses used for cameras have been known. In a camera using a solid-state imaging device such as a digital still camera or a video camera, a low-pass filter, a color correction filter, and the like are arranged in front of the solid-state imaging device. Therefore, a zoom lens of a camera using a solid-state imaging device requires a long back focus and requires some degree of telecentricity on the image plane side. In recent years, compactness not only in use but also in storage has been required in recent years.

As such a zoom lens, there is known a zoom lens configured from a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, and a third lens group having a positive refractive power from the object side. Further, in order to reduce the size of the zoom lens, there has been proposed one in which each lens group includes an aspherical lens as disclosed in

Here, in a zoom lens composed of a first lens group having a negative refractive power and second and third lens groups having a positive refractive power, an off-axis light beam from the first lens group jumps up from the optical axis. Therefore, in a zoom lens having such a configuration, the second lens group generally causes spherical aberration, and it is difficult to increase the zoom magnification of the zoom lens if the second lens group is formed of three lenses. Further, it is preferable that distortion that cannot be corrected by the first lens group is corrected by the second lens group. Therefore, in the
