Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle automatic stop / restart control device capable of automatically stopping and restarting an engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, vehicles have been automatically stopped when it is not necessary to operate the engine, such as when waiting for traffic lights, waiting for trains, or waiting for people, for the purpose of reducing fuel consumption and exhaust gas. Then, an automatic stop / restart control device for a vehicle that restarts the engine when the engine needs to be operated has been developed and put into practical use.
[0003]
When the engine is automatically stopped in such a vehicle, as a determination condition, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-274273, after confirming that the engine warm-up is completed, the brake pedal is depressed, and the vehicle speed becomes zero. It is disclosed that the accelerator pedal is turned off, the engine speed is further determined to be an idle speed, and the engine is automatically stopped after a set delay time.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP 2000-274273 A
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if such an automatic stop of the engine is performed, the restart will be delayed. Therefore, depending on road conditions such as traffic congestion, driving conditions such as garage parking, and the driver's preference, the engine is stopped even if the vehicle is stopped. You may not want to. On the contrary, there is a case where it is desired to actively stop the engine automatically to reduce the fuel consumption, the exhaust gas, and the noise. It is extremely difficult to determine the road condition, the driving condition, and the driver's preference only by the conditions such as the state of the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal, the vehicle speed, and the like, as in the above-mentioned
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is possible to accurately reflect road conditions such as traffic congestion, driving conditions such as garage parking, and the driver's preference in the control of automatic stop and restart of the engine. It is an object of the present invention to provide an easy-to-use and versatile automatic stop / restart control device for a vehicle.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, an automatic stop / restart control system for a vehicle according to the present invention according to the present invention determines an automatic engine stop condition for determining whether or not a preset engine automatic stop condition for automatically stopping an engine is satisfied. Means, maximum acceleration calculating means for calculating the maximum acceleration since the previous automatic stop of the engine, and selectively selecting a threshold as an engine automatic stop execution condition for executing the automatic stop of the current engine by reflecting the maximum acceleration. An engine automatic stop execution condition setting means that can be set freely, a comparison value calculating means that calculates a comparison value corresponding to the threshold value from the time when the engine was automatically stopped last time until the time when the engine was automatically stopped this time, An engine automatic stop execution condition determining means for comparing with a threshold value to determine whether a current engine automatic stop execution condition is satisfied; Jin automatic stop condition is satisfied, and is characterized in that an engine automatic stopping means for automatically stopping the engine when the engine automatic stop execution condition is satisfied.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an automatic stop / restart control system for a vehicle according to the first aspect, wherein the threshold value reflects the maximum acceleration, and It is characterized in that the value of the time after the stop is selectively set.
[0009]
Further, according to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an automatic stop / restart control apparatus for a vehicle according to the first aspect, wherein the threshold value reflects the maximum acceleration, and It is characterized in that the value of the distance from the stop is selectively set.
[0010]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided an automatic stop / restart control system for a vehicle according to any one of the first to third aspects. It is characterized in that correction is made according to the angle.
[0011]
That is, the automatic stop / restart control device for a vehicle according to the present invention determines whether or not a preset engine automatic stop condition for automatically stopping the engine is satisfied by the automatic engine stop condition determining means. Also, the maximum acceleration calculation means calculates the maximum acceleration since the last automatic stop of the engine, and the engine automatic stop execution condition setting means for executing the automatic stop of the current engine by reflecting the maximum acceleration by the engine automatic stop execution condition setting means. Is selectively set. Further, the comparison value calculating means calculates a comparison value corresponding to the above threshold value from the time when the engine was automatically stopped last time until the time when the engine was automatically stopped this time. Then, the engine automatic stop execution condition determining means compares the comparison value with the threshold value to determine whether the current engine automatic stop execution condition is satisfied. Thus, when the automatic engine stop condition is satisfied and the automatic engine stop execution condition is satisfied, the automatic engine stop means automatically stops the engine.
[0012]
At this time, the threshold value set by the engine automatic stop execution condition setting means specifically reflects the maximum acceleration and selectively sets the value of the time since the previous engine automatic stop as described in
[0013]
Alternatively, specifically, the threshold value set by the engine automatic stop execution condition setting means reflects the maximum acceleration and selectively sets the distance value from the previous engine automatic stop as described in
[0014]
At this time, as described in
[0015]

On the other hand, when it is determined that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied as a result of the determination in S102, the process proceeds to S105, where the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous engine automatic stop is calculated, and the process proceeds to S106, where the previous engine automatic stop as a comparison value is performed. The time T from the stop is calculated.
[0031]
Next, the process proceeds to S107, and a time Ta as a threshold which is an engine automatic stop execution condition for executing the automatic engine stop is calculated from the position of the
[0032]
Next, in S108, the engine automatic stop execution time Ta calculated in S107 is corrected by the steering wheel angle θH. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the correction of the engine automatic stop execution time Ta by the steering wheel angle θH is longer as the absolute value | θH | of the steering wheel angle θH is larger, that is, as the steering wheel is turned farther. The final engine automatic stop execution time Ta is corrected and calculated by adding this correction value to the engine automatic stop execution time Ta obtained in S107.
[0033]
Then, the process proceeds to S109, in which the time T from the previous engine automatic stop calculated in S106 is compared with the final engine automatic stop execution time Ta, and the time T from the previous automatic engine stop is determined to be the final engine automatic stop execution. If it is shorter than the time Ta (if T <Ta), the program exits the program. Conversely, if the time T from the previous automatic engine stop is equal to or longer than the final engine automatic stop execution time Ta (if T ≧ Ta), the process proceeds to S110 and a signal of the automatic engine stop is sent to the engine control device 31. Output and exit the program.
[0034]
As described above, according to the first embodiment, the driver can operate the
[0035]
In addition, the characteristics of the engine automatic stop execution time Ta are finely set by reflecting the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic engine stop, so that road conditions, driving conditions, and driver preferences can be controlled by the automatic stop and restart of the engine. The device can be reflected more accurately, and is a more natural, easy-to-use and versatile device. For example, in the case of a garage in which the maximum acceleration Gmax is relatively small and requires only a short time, the engine automatic stop execution time Ta is set longer than usual without changing the position of the
[0036]
Further, according to the first embodiment, since the engine automatic stop execution time Ta is corrected by the steering wheel angle θH, the steering wheel is largely turned, that is, as the vehicle is going to make a large turn, The engine automatic stop execution time Ta is corrected to a long time, so that the automatic stop of the

5 to 7 show a second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a flowchart of automatic stop / restart control. FIG. 6 is a characteristic diagram of an engine automatic stop execution distance set by an adjustment volume. 7 is a characteristic diagram of a correction value for an engine automatic stop execution distance set by a steering wheel angle. In the second embodiment, the first embodiment determines the engine automatic stop execution condition for executing the automatic engine stop by the time Ta reflecting the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic engine stop. Since the distance La reflects the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic stop of the engine, the other configuration and operation are the same as those of the first embodiment, and therefore the description thereof is omitted.
[0039]
That is, in the flowchart of the automatic stop / restart control shown in FIG. 5, when it is determined that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied as a result of the determination in S102, the process proceeds to S201, and the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic stop of the engine is calculated. , S202, and calculates the distance L from the previous automatic stop of the engine as a comparison value.
[0040]
Next, the process proceeds to S203, in which a distance La as a threshold which is an engine automatic stop execution condition for executing automatic engine stop is calculated from the position of the
[0041]
As shown in FIG. 6, for example, the engine automatic stop execution distance La has a plurality of characteristic values corresponding to the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic engine stop (the shorter the characteristic, the larger the maximum acceleration Gmax becomes). , Is set variably according to the position of the
[0042]
Next, in S204, the engine automatic stop execution distance La calculated in S203 is corrected by the steering wheel angle θH. The correction of the engine automatic stop execution distance La by the steering wheel angle θH is performed, for example, as shown in FIG. 7, as the absolute value | θH | of the steering wheel angle θH is larger, that is, as the steering wheel is turned farther, the longer the distance. The final engine automatic stop execution distance La is calculated by adding the correction value to the engine automatic stop execution distance La obtained in S203.
[0043]
Then, the process proceeds to S205, in which the distance L from the previous automatic engine stop calculated in S202 is compared with the final engine automatic stop execution distance La, and the distance L from the previous automatic engine stop is determined to be the final engine automatic stop execution. If it is smaller than the distance La (if L <La), the program exits the program as it is. Conversely, if the distance L from the previous automatic engine stop is greater than or equal to the final engine automatic stop execution distance La (if L ≧ La), the process proceeds to S206, and a signal of the automatic engine stop is transmitted to the engine control device 31. Output and exit the program.

As described above, according to the second embodiment, the driver can operate the

In addition, since the characteristics of the engine automatic stop execution distance La are finely set by reflecting the maximum acceleration Gmax from the previous automatic engine stop, the road condition, the driving condition, and the driver's preference are controlled by the engine automatic stop and restart. The device can be reflected more accurately, and is a more natural, easy-to-use and versatile device. For example, in a garage where the maximum acceleration Gmax is relatively small and a short distance is required, the engine automatic stop execution distance La is set to be longer than usual without changing the position of the

Further, according to the second embodiment, since the engine automatic stop execution distance La is corrected by the steering wheel angle θH, the more the steering wheel is turned, that is, the larger the turning is, the more the steering wheel is turned. The engine automatic stop execution distance La is corrected to a long distance, so that the automatic stop of the
